We are so grateful to the DoubleTree Hotel and their incredible team for hosting such a beautiful wedding reception. Our entire day went so smoothly, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
A special thank you to Adriana, who was an absolute pleasure to work with throughout the entire planning process. She was always kind, friendly, organized, and responsive. She kept us informed every step of the way, making sure we never missed an upcoming payment, tasting, or important deadline. Her attention to detail and professionalism made wedding planning so much less stressful.
One of the reasons we chose the DoubleTree was not only for the gorgeous waterfront views but also because of the amazing wedding package they offered. It was by far one of the best values we found. The package included a getting-ready room, and we were even surprised with an upgrade to an additional night’s stay at the hotel. We also loved that the cocktail hour included six passed appetizers instead of the usual four offered by many venues, along with a beautiful cheese and vegetable display for our guests.
When we first toured the venue, it was still undergoing renovations. Adriana assured us everything would be completed before our wedding, and she was absolutely right. The finished lobby area looked beautiful.
Our only minor disappointment was the main course. During our tasting, the food was exceptional, which is why we selected it. On our wedding day, however, some guests had mixed reviews of the food including myself - my chicken wasn’t as tender as it had been during the tasting. While that was unfortunate, it didn’t take away from what was otherwise an amazing celebration.
Overall, we are beyond happy with our decision to celebrate our wedding at the DoubleTree. The beautiful venue, outstanding service, incredible wedding package, and Adriana’s dedication made our day truly unforgettable. We highly recommend them to any couple looking for a wonderful wedding venue.

Every question we had was answered quickly, every email was responded to almost immediately, and every phone call was handled with kindness and professionalism. Adriana and Katlyn made sure our night was special, stress-free, and perfect.
We also want to recognize the banquet manager, Ani, and our captain, Delimar, for their exceptional service throughout the evening. The entire reception staff was attentive, accommodating, and always willing to help with a smile. They never said no to anything we needed and made both us and our guests feel so welcomed.

There were some specific rules to follow, specifically all decorations needed to be cleared out by the end of the evening so we made arrangements ahead of time to ensure this was completed. We heard back from so many of our guests that this was the most elegant and beautiful wedding they had ever attended. Did I mention the food? How does a chef prepare food for a 130 guests and it tastes as good as a fine dining restaurant? I don't know, but they did it! If you are getting married in Miami, you will not go wrong with the Doubletree on Biscayne Bay.

However, our main concern was a major last-minute change that significantly impacted our experience. Less than two months before the wedding, we received an email with alternate entry instructions, but there was no follow-up, and the severity of the situation was not clear until we arrived in Miami four days before the wedding and discovered the entire hotel lobby was closed and under construction for a year. When I asked—just days before the wedding—why this was not clearly communicated or why alternatives were not offered, I was told the hotel and venue are separate.
In reality, we and our guests had to enter through an old, unpleasant, smelly shopping center, use an outdated escalator instead of an elevator, and my bridal party and I had to walk around the building for nearly 30 minutes on the wedding day due to the lobby elevator closure to reach the waterfront for photos. This affected hair, makeup, our photography timeline, and overall mood. There was also minimal onsite guidance for us or our guests, which caused confusion, stress, and lost time.
After the wedding, we contacted hotel management and were offered two free nights as compensation, which did not feel proportional to the impact this had on our wedding day.
The venue itself is lovely, but I would strongly advise couples to be very cautious and prepared for last-minute changes that can significantly affect how your day feels, with no option to cancel or reschedule if this occurs.

We are so grateful and highly recommend this venue to any couple looking for an exceptional wedding experience. The only downside and it’s not the venue space itself is the hotel. It’s under heavy construction which makes the accessibility very difficult and as a whole it’s a bit run down. Agin doesn’t affect the actual venue space directly just not as desirable as other hotel spaces especially for guests.

where we got married was just stunning. We had a lot of guests from overseas who were looking for that Miami experience and this view and venue delivers. The food was absolutely delicious. We went for the Wedge starter, bacon wrapped filet mignon and the salmon for our mains and wedding cake (which is included) for the dessert. The food was delicious which is not easy when you cater for a lot of people. The ballroom has just been recarpeted and the view from the ballroom is the marina so it's the perfect backdrop for your main event. All the boats light up at night making it extra special. Aside from this amazing venue, it's the people involved that make it so fantastic. Adriana was my event coordinator, with almost 30 years of experience, she guided me through the planning from beginning to end, giving me advice and ideas. Planning a wedding can be stressful, but in our case, it wasn't and that is because Adriana has it all under control. Aileen works with Adriana and was with us on several tours of the venue with different family members, walking us through the tastings and the menus. They start to feel like friends through the process. Alexandra was our banquet manager on the day of the wedding, also amazing. We wanted to add some greenery at the last minute, and she arranged for that to happen. Everything went according to plan, and I didn't have to worry about one thing. I honestly don't have the words to be able to adequately thank each of them for what they did in making this the best night of our lives.

Search: During our search for vendors, we found the double tree. They were very prompt in replying to us and...
sending us their food and beverage packages. Their info packet was easy to understand and very affordable and they were eager to have us in for a tour of the venue. During the tour, we met with Adriana. She showed us around their beautiful ballroom and terrace and was wonderful at answering all our questions. We booked soon after our tour.
Planning: The staff were very responsive to us over email and phone calls. We were planning this from out of town and they were incredibly accommodating when scheduling extra tours and tastings. The tasting itself was a pleasure. All the food was delicious and we didn't feel like there were any bad choices.
Day-of: Everything went very smoothly thanks to the staff at the double tree. Adriana and Ayleen in particular helped us solve problems as they arose and answered all our very specific last minute questions. They were also very accommodating to our guests and their allergies/ dietary restrictions. The event went off without a hitch and we feel so fortunate to have hosted with them. We got a lot of compliments about the view and the food!
Overall: We would recommend the double tree. The view is amazing and cocktail hour on the terrace was breezy and beautiful. Our guests loved the view of the marina and at night, the miami beach skyline made the ideal backdrop for the sweetheart table. It should be noted, that at capacity the venue would feel a little snug. We had some concerns about the tables blocking the flow of the room but they were very willing to help us shift around some of the tables to make the space feel more open (guest count 184).
The team was wonderful and easy to work with. Setting up our room bock was also easy and the team in that department was very responsive as well, keeping us updated as we went.

Adriana Rader and her assistant, Ayleen are very responsive and keep you informed every step of the way. They were such a pleasure to work with.
The food at the venue is incredible, and our guests loved all of the hors d'oeuvres, midnight snacks, and of course, all of the cocktails.
On our wedding day, the wait staff had a platter of food and cocktails waiting for us following the formal portraits. I thought it was such a nice gesture. They were so attentive and always made sure we had a drink in our hands.
Overall, I cannot recommend this venue enough. From the pricing, scenery, service, food quality, and communication, everything was absolutely amazing. If you are looking for an affordable, beautiful wedding venue in Miami, THIS IS THE PLACE!

Never did we think to have an affordable beautiful wedding in Miami, but Adriana Rader and her assistant Ayleen proved otherwise!
Adriana took her time with us to go over in detail...
all the specifics of having our wedding at The Doubletree.
The venue speaks for itself with a ceremony terrace on the second floor and a beautifully updated ballroom adjacent.
Adriana and Ayleen were always prompt with follow up and there were never any communication issues. Both of them were very patient with the multitude of questions we had.
The vendors they recommended, i.e. DJ and party designers, only enhanced the overall experience.
As we went through the process, I kept saying, 'this is too good to be true' and that phrase held true to the very end of our wedding event.
Even in Adriana's absence, Ayleen was right there to fill in the gaps.
Our guests started raving about the event, the night of our wedding and the days followed. The food and service were superb. Liz who was our wedding liasion the night of the event was calm, cool, and collected and guided us most appropriately throughout the night!
We highly recommend The Doubletree Hilton Grand Hotel Biscayne Bay!

After working with many vendors the staff here exceeded our expectations. During our wedding, we had our own individual waiters. As soon as we arrived at our reception they provided us with appetizers and drinks. After entering they would constantly make sure my husband and I were taken care of. They provided us with drinks and their services all night! When I was changing my shoes, even one of the girls asked if I needed assistance. For past events we have worked with different venues, and have never received the service we received at the Double Tree. They made our dreams come true and made our day extra special.

The food was delicious (I am picky)! We added the cookies and milk for 11 pm and that was a huge hit! Cocktail hour on the terrace facing the water was the perfect beginning. Drinks and servers came with appetizers all tasty and high quality. we added the cubanitos and the arepas as an extra.
