My husband and I had our wedding room block here back in April. We were very satisfied with everything throughout the weekend. Overall service was great and the rooms were very nice. We both reserved the suites for “getting ready” and really li...
ked how spacious it was for our groups.
Most of our guests were from out of town, so having this DoubleTree location so close to the Pruneyard shopping center and downtown Campbell was great. We all really enjoyed getting to eat/shop at the nearby businesses.
We also hosted a farewell brunch in the hotel’s Garden Terrace. The food was good and the service was very attentive. Luckily the weather was perfect, which made the morning that much better.
Thanks to Jonathan, Anna and Jimmy, the entire booking process seemed very easy. They answered the many questions we had and made helpful suggestions when needed. We definitely appreciated their help. If you’re having your wedding nearby, highly recommend reserving a room block here!

As loyal Hilton Honors members, we almost exclusively trust the Hilton brand for our family travels. This stay was a bit of a mixed bag for me because while the "must-haves" were excellent, the overall experience missed that signature DoubleTre...
e spark.
The Pros: Our two-bedroom suite was impressively spacious and perfectly clean. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and we felt very safe throughout our stay. For the price, the value of the room itself was great.
The Cons: The property is showing its age. The AC unit seemed a bit worn, the windows weren't well-insulated against noise from above, and there were some odd maintenance "quirks"—like a bathroom door handle that didn't quite line up and random tile work.
The Service: While the staff was professional, it lacked that warm, "above and beyond" welcome we usually experience at other DoubleTree locations. It wasn't a bad stay by any means, but it didn't quite hit the high bar Hilton usually sets.

The building is old and some rooms could be very noisy, upstairs floor squeak loudly from even gentle walking.
Can’t tolerate that constant squeaking and had to change room to the top floor.
The front desk staff is all nice until you need somet...
hing from them, claiming the rooms are perfectly quiet and I was “too sensitive to noise”.

Will never visit here again...
First, around 3–4 a.m. on our first night, someone was running through the hallway and kicked three different doors. My family woke up frightened. While this may not have been the hotel’s direct fault, it does re...
flect the type of guests staying here.
The soundproofing was also poor. We could clearly hear people outside talking and making noise late at night.
On one occasion, I was taking a shower while my wife was asleep in bed, and a man knocked and then opened the door and entered the room. Is it normal for a male staff member to enter a guest room at 8 a.m. for housekeeping purposes? At the very least, staff should knock and allow enough time for guests to respond before entering.
Lastly, while most of the staff were friendly, there was also one staff member who was kind of rude. I would rather not go into further detail about that.
People book hotels under the Hilton Worldwide brand with certain minimum expectations. Unfortunately, this hotel made me reconsider the standards and reputation I personally associated with the Hilton brand.

Terrible experience. Strongly DO NOT recommend.
Stayed there May 6-7.
The staff were completely useless; they couldn't do anything about the loud music coming from the next room. It went on until 3 a.m., after which I just fell asleep with earp...
lugs in. Before that, I had called the front desk at least five times. Every time, they were surprised that the music was still playing and asked which room it was coming from, as if it were my job to check and maintain order in their hotel.
This completely ruined my workday, and I nearly drove off the road on my way home because I almost fell asleep at the wheel.
I just wasted money and lost sleep because I could have slept better at home and driven to work in San Jose early in the morning.
I usually travel to SanJose for work every other week and after that was able to find enough other places to stay with better quality for same money.
