Loved having my wedding here! Guests couldn't stop talking about how beautiful it was, how friendly the staff was, and how good the food was! I worked with Jen for well over a year planning everything out and she was always available to help, give advice, and keep me calm! She was so flexible with my wants and needs as well! I asked 10 billion questions about the wedding and she always answered and never got frustrated with my questions. which I valued a lot since I had no clue what I was doing lol. Highly recommended!

My husband and I got married here July 27, 2019 and hands down it was beautiful. Jen Pickel is amazing to work with. She handled the whole hall being set up from start to finish. She is so organized and makes sure your wedding runs so smoothly. She responds to e-mails very quickly, is fun to work with, and handled pretty much everything for the reception Jen sold us this hall by her being so personable and caring. She treated our wedding like it was her own. When you're planning a wedding it is likely that due dates and decision dates will slip your mind. Jen was always there to be a friendly reminder. I highly recommend this venue. Reservation manager George is great to work with as well. He handled all our guest rooms blocked. Our wedding turned out beautifully. Thanks to the great staff at the Double Tree-Hilton hotel.

The DoubleTree was an amazing place for our wedding reception! This was the first and only place we looked at before booking our venue. The space was perfect for our large amount of guests and pricing was extremely affordable. We had 220 people on our final count and the room and food were perfect! Jen is your contact throughout the entire planning process and she is incredible! So helpful and very responsive. When we were in the final weeks of planning she was more on top it than I was, which is so helpful when you have 100 other things going on. The four star rating for the service was because one of the bartenders was rude and disrespectful to our guests. We told Jen about this afterwards and she took action! We also got nothing but compliments on the food!

The staff at the Doubletree were beyond wonderful the whole planning experience. Jen Pickel was always ready to answer any questions and help immediately. She was very knowledgeable and gave tips while planning. During the wedding, her and her staff were very amazing also was very professional! I would highly recommend the Doubletree in Independence.

I loved the look of the ballroom, food, and the manager was amazing enough to through in some chair covers.;The wedding coordinator was horrible. She would say one thing and then take it back at a later meeting. She was hard to get a hold of also.
