I had the pleasure of working with Danielle, one manager at Doubletree, and I must say she was a dream to work with. Her consistent communication and dedication to ensuring every d...
etail was in order truly helped me feel at ease leading up to my wedding celebration. However, I did encounter an issue with the shuttle service we had arranged for our guests.
Unfortunately, the initial driver was rude and refused to follow the provided directions, causing a significant amount of stress just before my wedding ceremony. My mother-in-law, groomsman, and husband all had to make separate calls to the hotel to address the situation. Although a new driver was eventually provided and the issue was resolved, it was a challenging experience for me as a bride during such a crucial time.
I went in the next day to discuss the situation and seek reimbursement, which the acting manager handled promptly. However, I did not receive an apology for the stress, the breach in agreement, or the initial driver’s unprofessional behavior. While I appreciated the manager's efforts to resolve the financial aspect, it would have meant a lot to receive an acknowledgment of the inconvenience caused.
Despite this hiccup, Doubletree's professionalism and dedication to customer service were commendable, and I’m grateful for the support in making sure everything else ran smoothly.
I had my wedding in downtown Milwaukee and this location was so easy to work with from day 1 and became my hero a week prior to my wedding. Jacqueline Bridge and the team of this l...
ocation deserve all the kudos possible! The other hotel I had blocks with for my wedding had a check-in time of 4:00 which is the start time of my wedding. Unfortunately the other location would NOT budge even though a month earlier they advised they would make notations for the early check-in. So one week prior to my wedding I was shocked to hear from my guests that they didn't make the notation and would not guarantee early check-in. I was in a complete panic!! I called Jacqueline almost in tears and she reassured me she and Doubletree would help me and my guests. She re-opened the block and even offered me a suite at a discounted price. This other hotel lost 11 very expensive room reservations who all move to this Doubletree (totaling 40+ rooms here). Not only is there check-in time 3:00 but they were more than willing to accommodate early check-in which helped a lot since all of my guests were coming in from out of state and needed to get ready.
While my now husband and I ended up staying at the other location due to the first look and wedding party photos planned at the hotel, I heard nothing but wonderful things from my guests and wedding party that stayed here. When those that cancelled with the other hotel called to book the room within a week of the event here, they all contacted me to tell me how wonderful and nice the gentleman and Angela were taking the reservation. This team was literally my hero and I cannot thank them enough. I would strongly recommend any wedding or event to utilize this location. They really will go above an beyond to make it the best they can for you and are extremely helpful and friendly!

e comfortable and quiet - two of the most important guest room attributes in my opinion. All aspects of the wedding were beautiful. The facilities were recently renovated and are clean and beautiful. The food was outstanding. Every guest that I spoke with said that it was the best wedding food they had ever had. It was absolutely delicious. Our experience with Allan, the Director of Catering was outstanding. He was extremely responsive, friendly, and offered great suggestions to help make our night everything we have dreamed of and more! We highly recommend this hotel and their amazing conference/wedding facilities!
We had our wedding here in September and had an awesome experience! They recently remodeled the ballroom, I highly suggest you check it out! Planning everything with Allan was a br...
eeze and he definitely knows his stuff. He was also always available for questions and would get back to me right away. From the cocktail hour on the sun deck to the dinner - everything was beautiful! It was also a very busy weekend being Labor Day (and Badgers vs. LSU) but they handled the chaos with class! Thank you to EVERYONE who was involved on our special day (special shout out to the wait staff and our superstar bartender)!!!
Allen Fischer, the catering manager, is by far the best person I've ever worked with for any event. My wedding was a big deal to me and I wanted to make everyone feel comfortable w...
ithout going bankrupt so Allen delivered. He did so much for my (now) husband and I that I had no choice but to thank him everytime we had a meeting. Not only did he work with us but he made certain we was taken good care of. With miraculous rooms, great suites to chose from, awesome views of downtown Milwaukee and great prices there's no other place I would have rather had my reception at than here. Thanks Allen.
