s super convenient to the airport, the food is TO DIE FOR (Chef Mike and his team will hook you up)..but the amazing folks who work there make it worth it above all. Nichole (the wonderful lady you will work with through the wedding) is ALONE worth the cost of the venue. She helped make planning everything so effortless. If I needed something, she made it happen. If I needed a recommendation for a vendor or how to make an idea of ours come to life, she guided us. She is absolutely amazing and helped to make our day the best day of our lives. I highly suggest you check this Doubletree out...Nichole, Mike, and the other staff will not disappoint! Thanks for making our wedding day our best day yet <3

Not only did she help coordinate our reception but our timeline from ceremony to getting here. She reached out to local vendors for us to make sure every detail I wanted was perfect and set up everything for me EXACTLY how I wanted! Chef Mike could not have done a better job with our menu from Appetizers to entrees it's been months and I'm still getting compliments on everything! Give Nichole a call and book with her!

We had a rather large cookie table and they had set it up and decorated it beautifully (along with the tables!). I highly recommend this venue. A hotel reception was definitely the way to go for us. We had so many out of town guests that it just made sense and we knew that Nichole and her staff would take care of anything and everything we needed.

and phone calls right away and was there to help us every step of the way. The process was so easy thanks to Nichole! We got absolutely everything we wanted. On top of the staff, the value for the DoubleTree is amazing compared to other hotels in the area. We had our ceremony out on the terrace and that was included in our price. Most places wanted to charge us a max of $1,500 EXTRA for a ten minute ceremony. Not only that, but the DoubleTree trayed our cookies, set-up everything for us (perfectly also!), put a drizzle of our choice on the cake, had an amazing coffee/tea bar after, and the food was amazing. I know those are little extra things, but they made the day that much more elegant (and saved us time!!). Also, I was set on getting the gold chivari chairs, and most places you had to pay extra for them or couldn't get them at all. The DoubleTree allowed us to substitute our chair covers and put the cost towards the chivaris - which made them a lot more affordable! Another thing we loved was that the DoubleTree charged per plate based on what the guest got - not a flat rate like most places. So if someone got chicken, we didn't have to pay for the filet price. Same with if someone was under 21, they charge just for soda. It really helps with costs (100 people) and the food was AMAZING!!! I have been to many weddings, and this food was by far the best (and I'm not just biased :) ) Also, we got our pictures out on the terrace after, which made for an amazing backdrop and we didn't have to travel anywhere (which saved the guests from waiting forever for us to get back from somewhere). While we got a lot for our money, you couldn't tell because the quality is TOP NOTCH. We couldn't have asked for a better place to have our wedding!!! The DoubleTree Pittsburgh Airport is the best!!!!

r's "question of the day" e-mails, and was always quick to respond. She was also able to accommodate all of our requests through the reception planning process, including the after party at Jacksons and a private farewell breakfast the next morning in the Redwood Ballroom. We received so many compliments on the venue, the decor, the service of the staff, the food and the after-party at Jackson's Bar. The staff was over-the-top friendly, extremely helpful and accommodating! Benny the bartender ensured that our parents and my husband and I always were taken care of through the night. The food was awesome, and not what you would expect at a "chain hotel", but was actually one of the reasons we decided on the Doubletree.... their award-winning chef. Compliments were also received on how the chef/staff managed to serve 170+ people and have the food be served "hot" instead of just warm. The only disappointing part of the day was the rain and not being able to have our cocktail reception in the beautiful outdoor area, but despite the rain, it was an amazing day!

ht, is that before hand I spoke to someone about having our shuttles picking us up at certain times. I was very concerned that the first shuttle may not fill up right away. I was assured that they would not leave without it being full. THEY TOOK 1 COUPLE. This left the second shuttle full with the bridal party including bride and groom standing to wait. THEY LEFT THE BRIDE AND GROOM to sit for 30 minutes. My dad had to pay them $78 to come pick us up! The second thing that upset is that that the week priori, I left 15 gift bags at the front counter to be handed out to my guests. When we checked out the morning after our wedding - they gave us 9 gift bags back. They only gave away 6 of our gift bags!!! I spend a lot of time and money putting those together and I asked them prior if they would hand them out and they told me that they would. Six of my guests did not get their bags.. I am still amazed at this. My Aunt's room smelled horrible they had to move her and my best man requested a refrigerator for his room and had to call twice before they brought it up ( 6 hours later). I will never ever ever stay at a double tree again and I will make sure that I tell anyone I know looking to get married or stay there my HORRIBLE experience.

From the first meeting with Dawn, we knew we wanted to work with her to plan our wedding, and the ballroom and outside patio were perfect for the wedding we had in mind. The food was AMAZING, the bartenders were quick and attentive, the service staff were wonderfully friendly and courteous. Dawn was always extremely quick to answer our questions throughout the planning process, decreasing the stress of the planning process tremendously. I highly recommend Dawn and the DoubleTree Hilton!

w much they loved the food! Dawn Latkovic is the wedding coordinator there and she is amazing. I can't say enough wonderful things about her because she was so helpful during the entire planning process, and was so good about getting back to you with questions and concerns. She even went beyond her job role and set up all my floral centerpieces when my florist went psychotic and we had to find a new florist three days before my wedding! The reception went so smoothly and everything was perfect even with the disaster that occurred. Dawn helped us find a new florist, so I even had flowers on my wedding day. They set us up in a complimentary room and had chocolate covered strawberries and a bottle of champagne waiting for us. Our day was perfect and everyone had fun!

budget. The service was the best and I could not have been happier. We had the Tuscan stuffed chicken with green beans and yukon potatoes. We also had a strawberry salad, which was amazing. I could not have been happier with everything.

The food was amazing, the chef here is on top of his game and really puts together a great meal. The reception went very smoothly and the staff was marvelous. I can't wait for someone else I know to get married there so I can enjoy it all over again.

ng she could to make our day perfect. The food is actually very good, the main ball room is large and spacious, and the honeymoon suite is beautiful. Includes all food, linens, services, 5 hour bar, dinner, appetizers, coffee bar, etc.

e same ballroom as our reception. By the time the ceremony was over the rain had stopped and we were able to go outside in the garden area for pictures :);They took the bridal party up the back stairs so that we wouldn't be seen in the elevators... they were very difficult to manage in my dress.
