Location...I. the heart of downtown. Walking distance of eateries and local sites.
Service..very good. Always at the desk and courteous.
Rooms...very nice and clean. Beds are very comfortable, and I had restful sleep.

A small group of us spent a night here as we passed through on a business trip. It’s a beautifully historic building. A fun setting! 👍🏼I was actually upgraded as a Hilton Diamond member to a king suite which is atypical for Hiltons in the USA...
. 👍🏼 The reason I gave only 4 stars is the service and cleanliness. At the front desk the ladies working there seemed much more interested in getting back to their conversation or whatever it was they were doing on their phones. Another time I approached the desk the young lady there was wearing an earbud and did not remove it when I approached. She also was not that interested in helping me. 👎🏻On cleanliness, multiple floors had trash bags in the hallways. Not just guests putting food bags I. The hall but big trash bags. The big problem for me is that the trash was never picked up. In my 16 hours at the hotel many of the bags remained throughout my stay. 👎🏻
Dinner in town is really only available at the hotel restaurant which is actually quite good. 👍🏼
Breakfast was great with excellent service. 👍🏼 I would recommend the biscuits and gravy!

I had a $300 port-a-crib stolen off the curb as I was unloading into the hotel because the main entrance was closed off and we had to go through a labyrinth of hallways to make it to the elevators. They gave us perfunctory I am sorry's but coul...
dn't do more. Didn't see surveillance cameras tword the street entrance so we didn't bother filing a police report. Later they found and gave us a crib Wouldn't have mattered anyway. The paid parking near the garbage bins was on the opposite side of the hotel which was a bit of a bother. We went for a wedding and because of a discount were ok with the experience. Unless going for business and on a company card I would say not worth it. Staff was great. As helpful as possible and very polite and accommodating. I spoke with someone who told me the homeless were always around this area and that it was a problem. I feel the hotel could have taken steps to midigate problems but did not. That is a management issue.

cision (blunder) about 2 years ago. I’ve stayed in multiple rooms at this hotel over the last 4 years. No longer. This is an indictment on Hiltons recently. It’ll take you 45 minutes to get the soap off in a shower. We’re not talking weak water pressure, we’re talking a dribble. I won’t be returning and I recommend you avoid it unless you don’t intend on using water during your visit.. Actually given that all Hiltons are like this now, I’ll be finding a new chain.
