Doug McBride PhotoCinema is a wedding video production company based out of Des Moines and Central Iowa. My name is Doug and I am the owner and lead cinematographer dedicated to providing couples with professionally shot and edited footage of their special day. I have a Degree in Fine Art Photography & Motion Picture Film from the University of Iowa. I use a documentary-style approach to capture all the excitement, laughing. crying and emotion of the entire day. I create a video, as close as possible to reliving the entire day, so you are left with a precious keepsake that will be shared and enjoyed for generations. I have worked with 100's of brides over the years and have heard heart-felt praise and thanks for my work. I have packages starting at $500 and I know we can do exactly what you wish for and stay well within your budget. I will work with you to create a wedding day timeline so I can give you an exact price quote. Most couples spend between $1200 to $2500 for photography and/or video for the entire day. I work with wedding couples and their family, to create the exact package that fits their desires and budget. The most popular service offered by Doug McBride PhotoCinema is a 3-man photo/video crew that captures photography AND video the entire time we are there. We also offer a 3 or 4-Man Video Crew that can include up to five cameras, Cinematic 12’ Overhead Boom, Dolly/Slider Shots, Gimble Rig, Drone Footage, and other Cinematic Features. We work for you and will work as few or as many hours as you wish with a 2-Hour minimum. Doug made us a spectacular wedding video. He was so much fun to work with and had so many ideas. Some ideas may have seemed a little silly at the time but looked amazing in the video. His video captured all the joy and emotion from our big day. We cannot thank him enough for his attention to detail and creativity. Doug was also great in helping me to plan our itinerary to get the most of our time with him and our photographer. I highly recommend Doug and his team for anyone looking for videography services. Not only will he make an amazing video for you, but you will have fun making it!

We just got our wedding video back from Mr. McBride. We sat down and watched it today. His communication before and after the wedding was good. However the video could have used more attention to detail. Also the video could have been edited better and parts could have been shortened. Also the video was very shaky and could have been made better with a stand.

Doug was absolutely amazing! We did the three man photo/video crew and they were all absolutely amazing! Fun group to work with, very easy to work with, and made our day go smoothly and shot the most wonderful pictures! Our video brought my husband and I both to tears rewatching our wedding day! Absolutely wonderful!

I hired Doug in 2017 for my wedding - he was both the videographer and photographer. He consulted with my husband and I prior to the big date, and talked us through what to expect, and things to consider - things I hadn't thought of. We both felt like we were in good hands, and were confident he had things under control. He was extremely reliable, and reasonably priced as well. I'd highly recommend him for your wedding day.

After having an unexpected change of plans for my wedding, Doug made photography and video the least of my worries for my wedding to my lovely bride. We were very happy with both our photos and the video.
