***note: Not currently available in 2020, traveling abroad.*** This Texas entertainer and western artist presents his stylish take on the traditional dance hall days, with witty originals and perfectly placed covers. Twin fiddles and the upright bass elude a pleasant charm, along with a swing guitar and minimal percussion if desired. The band can play from 45 minutes to 3 hours with a break. Doug’s Bose sound system can cover smaller gatherings, with the ability to plug in your own iPod playlist.

Every time I've seen Doug and his band live at a dancehall somewhere, it's always been so fun; they play lively music that you can 2-step, waltz, or polka to all night long. He did amazing at our wedding; we had a blast!!!

I have LONG been a fan of Doug Moreland and have never been to one of his shows and not enjoyed it! The show he put on for our wedding was the best one yet(in my, somewhat biased, opinion)!!! We had a laid-back backyard wedding recently and these guys made it even better than I could have imagined! I was extremely surprised, and grateful, that we were able to 1) get him to play our wedding & 2) afford him... He is a great musician (and chainsaw artist too...renaissance man!) that has been playing the Austin area and all over Texas (and other lucky states) for years. The contract was simple and we didn't feel the need to meet with him repeatedly to go over the set-list or setup. Doug & his guys FAR EXCEEDED our expectations, stayed longer than we expected, played great music, and really impressed our guests (both the locals who have accompanied me to his shows and the family/friends from all over the country (even the Yankees!)). I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone, particularly for a less-formal Texas wedding!
