Doug and his wife, JoAnn, were awesome! They were very easy to work with and we had great communication throughout the whole process. The pictures were perfect and captured the day wonderfully. The price was very reasonable, especially considering all of the pictures and the video we got. I’d highly recommend them to anyone looking for a photographer and videographer.

Thank you Doug for the amazing photos!!! Working with Doug was so easy- we coordinated everything through email prior to the wedding. I couldn't believe that when I arrived at the venue around 1:50pm to start setting up, Doug was already there and started taking photos early (contracted him to start at 2:30pm). Doug was able to capture so many moments of our wedding day!! Our photos came very quickly, about 2.5 weeks after our wedding- even after a minor post office mishap that Doug had to resend the USB drive! Thank you again Doug for all our great photos!!!

Photography was very important to my husband and I as we were planning our wedding, so a lot of consideration went into our choice. We could not have been happier that we chose Doug. Doug took the time to get to know us as a couple to make sure he captured our essence and understood the things that were most important to us. You can see the passion he has for his work and his photographs further demonstrate his outstanding skill. We used Doug for both our engagement and wedding photos. I would highly recommend this to everyone, because you get a feel for each other during your engagement photos and my husband and I felt more comfortable having seen what Doug can do beforehand. Doug makes you feel very comfortable during the photo shoot and does a great job of capturing the in-the-moment shots, which were some of my absolute favorite photos. We were overly pleased being referred to Doug. He was awesome to work with and the photos turned out great! We love his work. He worked with about 50 of our family members in our "pre-wedding family photos" without a single complaint. Doug did a great job with our wedding. There were a few prewedding photos I didn't get because of time before but the ones I have are absolutely beautiful! His suggestion of doing some wedding photos in the park was awesome! Those are by far my favorite ones! The price we paid for the amount of time he gave us was well worth the money! Plus the photos are fabulous!!

We used Doug Rogahn photography, videography, and DJ services for our wedding. We also had our engagement photo session too. Doug does amazing work with his photos, it's phenomenal! He took a TON of photos for our engagement session that we had lots of choices to choose from when making our save the dates. We had lots of compliments from family and friends on how stunning our photos turned out. For our wedding photos, Doug did such an amazing job that words can't explain the expert craft he has. He has such a passion and eye for detail that reviewing the photos made us feel we were re-living our wedding day all over again, just absolutely wonderful! For videography, Doug's wife was with him to film our wedding. She was very nice and made sure she was getting the best shots for the video. The DJ used to be Doug's son, but the role has now passed on to Wayne, his son-in-law. When we met Wayne for the first time, he was very professional and advocated how he puts his clients first. His professionalism and organization definitely showed at the evening portion of our wedding. Prior to our grand march, Wayne stepped out to ensure he had everything right in names, order and song. We also had asked Wayne to not take requests from the audience and he told us that someone could waive $50 in his face, but he won't play a song because he will do what we (the bride and groom) say. He was absolutely perfect! Doug also has a photobooth option through his business, but we ultimately elected to get uplighting. The uplighting was perfect and was super awesome to have them constantly changing colors during the dancing portion of our wedding. This family-run business is great and we are so thankful to have had these wonderful people capture and make our wedding day that more special! When I first saw Doug's work online I loved it and contacted him to do photography for my wedding. Doug was professional and in contact with me the entire time. The photos turned out so well! We'd recommend him to anyone. Great service and photos for your money!

My husband and I used Doug Rogahn for our engagement pictures, as well as our wedding photographer and videographer. My two sisters also used Doug when they got married (one wedding was nearly 17 years ago now!). Doug was awesome! For our engagement pictures, he went to 3 different locations with us around the Twin Cities, took over 700 pictures and had some very creative shots. He was timely with return of the photos for viewing online. We had a fun time doing them! We did a MN destination wedding about 2 hours away from the Twin Cities, and Doug did our photo and video. He spent more than 10 hours on site for the day. Somehow, he seemed to be everywhere getting that special photo or good video footage. The photos we took before our ceremony with all of the bridal party and families went so smoothly and had a relaxed feel--that was really nice to not feel rushed just prior to the ceremony. I had sent Doug some pictures of photo shots that I wanted us to try and get on the day of the wedding. He had this sheet with him and made it a point for us to get these photos in. We received pictures in a timely fashion after the wedding. Our wedding video was nearly 2 hours of the entire ceremony and other special portions of the day (parts set to music)--it was great! He also put together a very fun 5 minute you-tube video with highlights from the day. It is SO fun to watch and a great thing to show coworkers or other people who couldn't be at the wedding. Doug was extremely timely with communication and was easy to communicate with via e-mail. We also used his son, Nathan, for our ceremony music as well as DJ for the dance. He was professional and on the ball with everything. Super impressed and so glad that we chose both of them for our special day!

Absolutely beautiful. The pictures and video will help us relive one of the most beautiful memories of our live. Doug captured everything, yet he seemed to be invisible. I was amazed.He did the weddings of two of our other children,but he has really honed his talent. I almost wish I had more children to marry off so we could work with him again for a wedding.

We found Doug on TheKnot.com and met with him to have engagement pictures taken. We really wanted to work with a family business versus a corporate company. Doug was flexible about locations and went above and beyond to scope out the locations ahead of time to get ideas. My husband and I had a great time taking pictures with Doug and after seeing the result of our engagement pictures, we knew immediately we wanted to work with Doug for our wedding. The day of our wedding, Doug showed up early and immediately began taking candid pictures. It was such a great way to start the day and it was a great way to look back on the events of our wedding. Doug and his wife, Joanne took amazing pictures all day; even through the dancing at the reception. I would highly recommend his photography services!! We were working with Doug Rogahn as our photographer for our wedding and we were introduced to his son, Nathan. We decided to use Nathan as our DJ. I submitted all the information two weeks before and he did a great job on our wedding day. He listened to our favorite choices in music, my parents were elated to have some music from the generation playing. The only minor downside was that I had to ask him about when he was going to do the bouquet toss and garter toss (as it was getting late). When I asked him, he agreed to do it at that moment, then asked if we wanted our dollar dance. Unfortunately, it was after 10:00 pm and most of our guests/family had left the reception so it was too late for a dollar dance. I think Nathan forgot. Overall, it was good service and the package price was very affordable.

We were looking for a photographer online and came across Doug's website. One of our major concerns was to get someone with artistic flair. Judging from his website Doug filled the bill. Doug was easy to work with. He worked without being obtrusive. The final photos were everything we had hoped for. If you want a person technically competent and meticulous with an artistic sensibility Doug is your man.

My husband and I were so pleased to have found a photographer who listened to what we wanted but who also used his artistic sense to give us beautiful photos. He was upbeat and enthusiastic from the first introduction to our final meeting. He worked well with our whole family and got some great kid shots. We hired Doug Rogahn and his photography and photo booth services for our gathering and I was so impressed with this professionalism and service. Doug was a pleasure to work with leading up to our event and his knowledge was top notch and it provided me with a sense of security that he would do a great job. The photo booth was a big hit with the guests and it still is talked about to this day as the guests are enjoying looking at the pictures every day. He provided top of line equipment and the quality was so impressive. Kids packed the photo booth and the adults all wanted a turn also. My husband and I were given a surprise 60th birthday party by our three kids. In attendance were about 70 of our friends and family. Doug and his assistant was there getting ever moment on film. Doug walked the party capturing photos shots during the whole evening. He took candid shots and also took shots which were set-up by party goers. Doug also had his photo booth set-up. The photo booth was a big hit. There was a great assortment of picture props. It was nice to be able to give our guests a photo strip and have a strip to put into a special book for us. The photo booth was busy the entire time it was open. Doug was very professional and friendly. At the end of the evening we were given a photo album with all the photo booth strips in it. Within a week we received a jump drive with all photos taken that night on it. We were very happy with the quality photos. We were very pleased with performance of Doug Rogahn.

We have had the wonderful experience of hiring Doug Rogahn Photography and D.J. Service 3 special times. We have to say, Doug and Nathan take the worries out of the day for you. We know when they are there setting up and getting ready, they know exactly what they are doing. We are very pleased with Doug Rogahn's work. He has a great eye and his extensive experience shows. He was very friendly, prompt, and was willing to go the extra mile. A very generous photographer, Doug edited every photo, both in color and in black and white, and even supplied us with a digital copy of all the finished photos without water-marks. Overall, we found working with Doug to be easy, great, and comfortable.

Doug was great to work with. The things I most appreciated about his work were: 1. He was VERY easy going from the start of the process to the wedding day. He tried to fit his schedule around yours. There were a couple things on the wedding day that didn't go as planned and Doug didn't get fazed by it. We also went over the time we hired him for and Doug did not mention it to me during the wedding day and stress me out. We also had him change our product towards the end of the planning process and he was very good in helping us get just the right deal that we wanted. 2. He was just good at his job. I have been in some weddings now where the photographer makes his presence known quite easily. Doug was good at being in the background and not drawing attention to himself. At the same time, he was very good at directing us during pictures. I appreciated working with him and would definitely recommend his business.

Looking back at our wedding day, I can honestly say that we are so grateful and fortunate to have found Doug Rogahn Photography, Video & DJ. It was a pleasure meeting Doug and Nathan, looking at all of their previous work, going over photo and music ideas, prices, any accommodations that we would need that day, etc...they truly were wonderful to work with and so easy going! We hired Doug Rogahn for our wedding photographer, and his son Nathan for our DJ. We have nothing but great things to say about both of their services. The photos Doug took turned out excellent - better than we ever imagined. We've been getting nothing but compliments from our friends and family. In addition, Nathan was a stellar DJ. He played perfect music throughout the entire night. He showed up early to set up all of his equipment, and the ceremony turned out excellent thanks to his music selections. All the guests were very impressed with the variety of music he played, as well as the lightshow. We have nothing but great memories of their services, and would HIGHLY recommend both of the Rogahns to all of our friends and families.

My Best Friend Kayleigh used Doug for her photographer last month. She is really happy with the services they provided, and I was impressed at how fast they got their pictures and video back! I got married 8 weeks before her and we both received pictures from our weddings at the same time. That's amazing. Doug had some cute ideas for how to pose us all and she got some really good group and individual shots. The reception was really fun and I thought the DJ, Nathan, did a really great job. He had lights and a variety of music to get everyone dancing. He played all the songs Kayleigh and Nick had specifically asked for and he made it fun. I haven't seen the video but Kayleigh told me it's really good and nice quality and that he got most of what she was hoping for. I know that they got a really good deal on these guys and if I know anyone else who is getting married I would definitely recommend checking them out.

My daughter and son-in-law used Doug and Nathan for their photography, video and DJ service at their wedding in August. They both showed up early dressed professionally. Doug got some great shots of everyone before the wedding and continued to shoot through the ceremony and reception while videotaping at the same time (TALENT!) Nathan was ready for everyone after the ceremony with music playing while everyone ate. When it was dance time he had people dancing and enjoying the light show. The kids especially liked that! I am so glad we have the pictures and video to remember their day for years to come. I know my daughter looked at many places before deciding on Doug and Nathan and I am so glad she found them.

My wife and I had Doug and Nathan Photograph, Video and DJ our wedding last month. Everything went really well and they run a great business. We saved a lot of money combining all three services Doug did a great job at getting pictures from beginning to end and also working the video camera. A week and a half after our wedding we got our pictures back. We got a lot of pictures and they all look really good. The DJ, Nathan, did a great job playing a variety of music which was fun. The light show was really cool and our guests were impressed. We recently got our video back. I haven't watched it yet, but my wife has and says its awesome. If she's happy I'm happy.

We recently had Doug Rogahn and his Nephew Nathan do the photography, video and DJ service for our wedding. Combining the three services was a great deal and we ended up paying less than what we would have paid for just one of the services elsewhere. They were very helpful in the planning process, and I could tell even before the wedding that they take a lot of pride in their work. They had plenty of samples to show us of the work they do, which was awesome. On the day of the wedding they showed up on time and dressed nicely. Doug did pictures starting before the wedding and went all the way through the reception. When our ceremony was over, Nathan was waiting in our reception area with music playing and lights going. We received our picture cd a week and a half after our wedding, which is insanely fast. We received a lot of very good shots and he provided all of them in full color, black and white, sepia tone, and small files for Facebook. The video arrived about a month later and it is very professional and transitions very nicely. It is so awesome to have to remember our day. I would recommend these guys to anyone, they offer great services at an unbeatable price!

Doug did a great job! We met him before the wedding to talk everything over with him. He told us how he got started in the photography world and showed us how he edits all of the pictures. He really knows his stuff and I was very impressed. He always had great communication with me and on the day of the wedding he was actually there before I was! He did a great job capturing our photos, which is hard when my husband and his best man like to joke around all day. He made sure we got all the pictures we wanted and took more amazing pictures of us throughout the night. We had our dog in the wedding and he did a great job of getting him to look at the camera for our pictures with him. The photos turned out great and I am very happy with them.

We had Doug as our wedding photographer and he was absolutely AMAZING! We met with him before the wedding day to set out a game plan of wedding pictures as well as a list of must have pictures so he didn't miss any of them, which was a big relief to not have to worry about on the wedding day! He was on time and a great director of family members on the actual day for pictures, and had a lot of suggested poses (but is also completely open to any of your suggestions). He was there for the full day and we had 1,400 pictures for the day, all in color, black/white, and sepia styles(so actually 4200 pictures). We also chose a picture album pack which gives us 450 pictures in whatever size we want to distribute between 3 albums (1 for us and 1 for each of our parents). We also did a 3 hour engagement picture session (we used these for our Save the dates) and have 700 very nice pictures of us! He is great for taking those "fly on the wall" pictures where you can just be natural as you are, and they turn out great! His pictures also have a sharp clarity we didn't see in the other photographers we interviewed. Total for all of this was $2500, which I would do again for all that we got!

Doug did an amazing job at my wedding. He was very thorough in explaining how he edits his pictures. His work is amazing and I could tell he loves what he does.

Doug was very responsive on any questions/concerns we had. He was very professional and did great work. We were pleased with the turn around time on getting our photos. Doug was very professional and we were pleased with his work. He was a pleasure to work with. He took pictures numerous pictures at our wedding capturing every moment and detail. He was with us for about 13 hours! We booked him and his son, Nathan as our DJ and received a great package rate! If you are looking for a DJ check him out! We had a low budget to work with and photography is so expensive I was worried we would have to settle on a random non-experienced photographer and be disappointed with the outcome of our pictures. That was defiantly not the case. I know we made the right decision picking him as our photographer.

I found Doug Rogahn on Craiglist & what a fanastic find he was! My Fiance & I interviewed him at his home He had the total set up, from photos, videography & DJ service. We were blow away by his pictures, & the albums he puts together himself. He had an opening for our wedding day so we booked him right away. Before the wedding we worked together coordinating what pictures styles I wanted, posed vs. candids (he got them all plus some!) We also used his service for video & DJ. Before hand we sent our list of songs to play & not to play. Doug was very accomodating on our wedding day, he was with us the whole day & night. We did photo's before the ceremony so we had time to get in all the pictures I was looking to get. He was very patient & gave new ideas for poses. Our reception was on a boat & he stayed on the whole time, taking photos, filming video & helping his son Nathan our DJ. They were both very professional the whole time & didn't complain even when the weather came up & we couldn't dock for an hour & a half! Doug kept his word & we received our memory card & sign on password to order directly from his website within the time he quoted. Did I mention he touched up every photo, all 1000+ photos? Another great feature available was to send our password onto friends & family to order their own professional photos (which were much better than what you order from some .com site!) We had a little snafu w/ the video memory card going bad, but Doug did a wonderful job on capturing the essence of the day. Our wedding album was awesome & love showing it to others. Nathan did a great job at DJing, taking requests & even accepting songs from guests right off their cell phones when he didn't have the song, We would recommend Doug & Nathan to anyone for photography, video or DJ needs!

The photographer mixed up what say we were getting married, it was a Friday wedding. So he wasn't there to take any pictures in the two hours before the wedding. He lied and said he was in an accident when we finally got ahold of him. He got there 30 minutes before the ceremony, and we rushed through pictures. I didn't get any extra fun pictures that I wanted, just the basics. Overall, it almost ruined my day! You don't really want to be balling hysterically when your wedding is in a hour.

We wanted everyone to dance and have fun all night long. That is exactly what Doug and Nathan ensured would happen. The music was exactly what we wanted and we are still getting compliments about our music. They did everything we asked and also acted as our coordinator throughout the night.

We only used Doug Rogahn as our photographer so I cannot attest to the other 2 services (DJ and Videography) but as a photographer Doug did an excellent job! Doug was very accomodating with any kind of picture I wanted to take and was very accomodating when our schedule was disrupted due a major malfunction at our venue. I've had lots of compliments on our pictures and while I haven't ordered any yet, I'm assuming that will go as smoothly as everything else.

This photographer was very nice to work with and a great value. However, I was disappointed that he did not listen to my suggestions for taking outside photos, and he did not get a shot of my husband and I kissing at the altar during the ceremony.

Doug was an excellent photographer and videographer. He had lots of experience and all his pics turned out great. He was professional and the experience gave him the edge on all the other people we interviewed with. It was also very nice to get everything - photo, video, and dj in a one stop shop. Doug and his son were both very helpful and open to any ideas that I had. Doug really helped bring my visions to life and capture what I had spent a over a year planning. Emailing back and forth was very timely and easy to communicate my ideas a little at a time. The photo book was done quickly even after the five revisions that we went through. He was willing to work on moving some people around in some pictures to make them just right. He does his own printing which was also a bonus-- less chance of them getting lost. He color corrected the photos to perfection. I cried when I saw the final book- It is truely something I will treasure forever. The video was great quality and captured my special day just like i was reliving the wedding all over again. The Dj played everything I requested. He found all the music I wanted for cocktail hour, dinner and the dance. If he didn't have it he went out and found it. He kept the dance floor full all night which was something I really wanted. Well worth the money I spent and I would recommend him to anyone of my friends and family.

For the photography stand point, My husband and I were just winging it. HA. Doug just followed us around and let us do out thing and also guided us. There were no awkward moments. For the videogrpahy he had a camera on us for the ceremony, and I am so glad for this, it was a very emotional day for us, and it will always be there for us to watch when we are having hard days. My husband even made vows to my 2 year old son. And the DJ, he just did what I said, some people were starting to leave, and I was like NATHAN quick, do the dollar dance, and bouquet toss ect. and he just did it, and was telling people to get out in the floor. They both stayed until midnight and it was just my husband and I, one of my bridesmaid and her fiance left. The boys wanted some ROCK music, so they asked Nathan if he could plug in their iPhone, and he did. He played what the boys wanted, and it was by far the best down to earth service you will get. I loved it all!!!

We used all 3 services from Doug Rogahn Photo, Video & Dj. Our photos were perfect! Doug captured all our precious moments and the quality was amazing! He was very creative and we got lots of fun, candid shots. Our wedding album is wonderful! The video was AWESOME! The Blu-Ray Video was crystal clear. Best quality video we have seen. It brings the day back to life every time we watch it. The DJ Played everything we wanted, and his timing of music was wonderful! Our guests had a blast on the Dance Floor. Everyone at our Reception said they had a great time.We believe we found the best value in the Twin Cities. We found out we did not have to get the most expensive wedding vendors to get great quality and great personal service. Our day went so smooth thanks to these guys. I have already referred several of my friends. We highly recommend them to everyone!
