My husband and I recently got married this past weekend and we couldn't have picked a better DJ than DJ Doug. There are a lot of DJs in Cincy and he is definitely the best in his craft. He helped make our day extremely special and all the vendors enjoyed working with him. We also did get a photobooth that his son ran and it was also a highlight of our wedding. He and his son were awesome to work with!

Douglas Adam Entertainment truly made our special evening extraordinary! From initial brainstorming to accommodating last-minute adjustments, Doug ensured that our event was enchanting. He proved to be a dependable and calming presence amid all the wedding commotion, helping us stay on schedule. We got married in April. Andrew was our MC/DJ and he was incredible. He helped us plan our night and made sure we got through it smoothly. His attention to detail and care about every aspect of the night eliminated any stress. And perhaps most importantly, he was extremely kind to everyone. It felt like he really cared about us and making sure our night was everything we hoped for.

Doug was fantastic! The app that he used for us to input our taste and music preferences was an awesome way to convey everything we wanted and it worked great! Doug helped us move the wedding along and keep the timeline running. As well as make it fun and engaging and us and our guests had a great time! 100% recommend!

Doug was the DJ for our NYE wedding a few weeks ago. He was easy to work with from day one, the app he uses really helped us get songs organized for him, and when I didn’t have a song in mind he filled in the gaps perfectly. Doug went above and beyond for us and our wedding day wouldn’t have been as perfect without him. Our guests raved about the music, atmosphere, freedom sticks, and Photo Booth!

Doug is the man! From the first meeting we had, to finally having our reception Doug is there for you. It was amazing being able to seamlessly plan our timeline and music needs through the app he uses. DJ Doug provided his services for my sister's wedding in Oct 2021 and for my wedding in November 2022. Something I really appreciate about Doug is that he's been in the industry for years and treats this role with full time care. Before the wedding, and during the planning period, Doug made himself available multiple times for phone calls/texts and email questions. He took the time to really listen to the vision we had for our wedding day. He made good suggestions - not just on song choices, but the timeline of events. If you're a first time bride or groom, something you probably don't know yet is how important your DJ/MC is for your day-of timeline. Doug provided us with a fantastic app that allowed us to plan the evening out and choose music/genres that made sense for each portion of the night. It was actually very cool and hugely helpful! I am a full Type A bride, but went into the day feeling extremely confident about the timeline of events because my vendors, including Doug, had really done the work beforehand to prepare with us. Doug is also gifted at instructing a 20+ person bridal party - as if that's not impressive enough, he was rallying the group after much champagne lol. He made sure the dance floor was a hit all night long, made sure the audio for the ceremony/speeches was just right, brought a VERY cool lighting package which upped the ambiance during dancing! I highly recommend Doug and am grateful we had him with us on our wedding day.

DJ Doug was seriously the ABSOLUTE BEST. He went above and beyond to coordinate so much during our ceremony, and we couldn't have asked for it to be more perfect the day-of. Prior to our wedding, we met with Doug twice over Zoom to discuss details and we could really tell how invested he was in making sure everything was coordinated to our unique interests and music tastes and just how we wanted it. On a personal note, we lost my dad during our wedding planning, and it was a very difficult process navigating that loss while still needing to somehow finalize wedding plans. Doug helped us come up with some lovely and thoughtful ways to honor my dad's memory during the ceremony and did not flinch once during the uncomfortable conversations and tears that came along with them. I really appreciate this so much and can not recommend him enough - Doug is a gem!

I knew about 5 minutes after a zoom interview with Doug that I wanted to hire him. My fiancée probably thought he and I spent too much time talking about Star Wars and not enough business but that’s just how personable he is. I hadn’t been to a formal wedding in about 6 years and really didn’t have a clear picture of my day from start to finish. No matter… a few planning Zoom meetings helped to solve that. Doug was full of great ideas and his experience showed in how he explained the importance of flow for our entire day. The planning app that he utilizes is super helpful and easy to use too! The day ran so smooth and I relied heavily on him especially during the reception and he made sure that everything was taken care of. I highly recommend that you hire Doug; He’s got this for you.

Working with Doug was fun and easy. He was full of suggestions that made our evening flow very smoothly. As we planned our wedding he was available for questions as they arose and helped us flesh out the night from a picture in our head to a full-scale wedding. The evening itself was everything we hoped for and couldn’t have gone better. If a reason arises, we would use Douglas Adam Entertainment again without question. We would highly recommend anyone looking for a DJ to use Douglas Adam Entertainment.

I wish I could give MORE stars. ! Imagine yourself walking around a bridal show. You have everything taken care of, EXCEPT the DJ. Many are at the show giving you their best performance so you will hire them. Most are lackluster, have no sense of humor, or are close talkers and can't read body language no matter how many times you back away and they try to get you to sign up immediately. More on that In another review, I digress. You walk up to the Douglas Adam table and start talking with Doug Z. He's a NERD! In a good way of course. You quickly realize as you talk with him, at an appropriate talking distance, that he is focused on nothing but your conversation and you are focused on nothing but Doug. The rest of the room is gone, he has made you his captive audience. He is so easy yo talk to and has such a great vibe you know immediately that you have to have him. For the wedding, of course. There is absolutely no pressure so you take his card, if you are a book nerd you will find the card especially pleasing, and go about your way, but you know he's "the one " You know he has the exact vibe you want for your wedding. You go home and try to explain to your fiancé how you met the perfect DJ and he immediately says "book em Danno! Because he sees how excited you are!! We are over an hour away from where Doug is located but thanks to Covid, Zoom meetings are now a thing. Doug walked us through using his amazing app to load song choices, work on a timeline, list our must haves and have nots etc My fiancé is not a people person but deemed Doug acceptable! Success. Fast forward to one more zoom meeting about six months later and Doug helped us fine tune some details, made some suggestions, and saved us from making a few mistakes. There was much laughter throughout the meeting. Usually, I'm the hilarious one but Doug gave me a run for my money. Most importantly, he told me even if our time line gets outta whack he will keep it rolling. The wedding day arrives and I meet Doug as he is setting up. He confirmed a few things and went back to set up. After the wedding Doug literally walked me to my buffet to prepare my plate for me. What a completely unexpected gentleman move. After that, I literally Danced all night long! I had SO much fun and Doug just kept it moving all night long. I honestly think he really made the wedding. Remember the groom? The one that is an introvert that hates attention and dancing? BY the end of the night he literally came out and danced with me, unprovoked, and enjoyed it!!!!! This seriously was the best night ever. I want to be besties with Doug and be friends forever

Doug is the freaking best! We had the best wedding ever. He is super organized, friendly, easy to talk to, and really, really fun. I highly recommend him for your wedding or any party. We booked our DJ via Perfect Day DJ. Chad wasn’t available, so he paired us up with DJ Doug who actually has his own Entertainment brand of Douglas Adams Entertainment! This review is for both of them. We had the best conversation with Chad when discussing possibly booking Perfect Day DJ for our wedding. He was very chill, listened to what we wanted, and assured us they would help make sure our day went according to plan. He made it clear the DJ is there to help pump up the party, and not steal the show (as another DJ we spoke with had failed to do). He also wasn’t pushy about trying to get our business, which we loved. After our first chat with Chad, we knew that we found the right DJ to help us have the best wedding! Chad connected us with DJ Doug. Our first meeting with him, he was so nice, and funny, and clearly loved music and bringing a wedding to life! He totally listened to what we wanted, and also gave us some fun ideas to think about. We really wanted to do the anniversary dance, and he made it even better by using multiple songs and starting with the longest marriages! Some things, we decided to pass on since it wasn’t our style, but we loved that he took time to recommend some fun ideas and understood if they weren’t for us! No surprise to us, Doug crushed it! Our guests were up and dancing and having the best time! We had sooo many compliments on how fun our wedding was! Even a few that said it was the best wedding they had ever been to! Having a stellar DJ with fun dance floor lights and glowsticks definitely did the job! Thank you so much, Doug, for the amazing entertainment all night! He even went out of his way to make sure myself and the groom had drinks delivered to us at dinner. 100% recommend you go with Doug or Perfect Day DJ! You can’t go wrong with any of them!

Doug and Andrew made the best team at our wedding! We met Doug at a bridal show a year and a half before our wedding and liked him immediately. He really wants to help you create a wedding that is special and meaningful to you - not a cookie-cutter wedding with package after package he's trying to upsell you on. We were delighted when Doug told us that his partner, Andrew, was moving back to the area and would be working with him at our wedding. Doug talked with us several times throughout our planning process to help us think through the reception - specifically the flow and the feeling of each moment. At our final detail meeting, Doug and Andrew helped us finalize and ramp up some ideas we had been working on (rating speeches using giant numbers that the bridal party held up, us-themed bar trivia during dinner, kiss cam instead of traditional glass-clinking kisses) and also gave us options to add on his Freedom Sticks (party lighting to help make the room/dance floor fun) and several Polaroid cameras and a book to store the pictures in. We took advantage of both and were so happy we did! On the day of the event, Doug took the role of MC and walking around the room to get pictures of people/get everyone involved and Andrew took on the role of primary DJ. Together, they were such a fun team that really brought the party to life! We had SO MANY compliments on how fun they were and I have recommended them to all of my friends with upcoming weddings!! They perfectly matched our vibe to the music and worked hard to make sure that everyone had a great time. If you're looking for a DJ that cares about you as a couple and can bring the party, look no further!

Not only is Doug a unique and awesome DJ, he is one of the most down to earth people you can find. I first met Doug while my parents were DJ browsing for their own wedding back in 2012. When my parents and I met with Doug we knew immediately he was the one. I told my parents after their wedding “When I get married, I want him as my DJ”. Fast forward 10 years and I knew exactly who to contact. Meeting back up with Doug 10 years later was like no time had went by, we picked right up where we left off. I have bragged about Doug for many years and now some of my favorite people got the chance to meet him too. He had so many new ideas and fun games that we incorporated into our wedding. Not only is Doug your DJ but he was literally my “right hand man” the entire day. Constantly asking me if I needed anything, or how he could help. You needed it, he would find it. I don’t think I can say enough good things about Doug but I was so honored to be his first “Legacy” and I will forever recommend him to anyone who wants to have one hell of a party. We are so thankful for everything you have done!

Well beyond my expectations! First, they arrived early; they were very professional and accommodating. They pivot quickly, have great timing, and are incredibly easy to work with. They provide a ridiculous amount of fun. I highly recommend them. It is nice to work with people who care about what they do and work with excellence.

Doug is a phenomenal DJ and MC. He DJd our wedding at the Cincinnati Art Museum and did such a great job. He really got the party going. We loved that he wasn't the same traditional DJ you could get elsewhere, intead he brought genuine ideas and incorporated our different asks (anniversary dance, some fun games, shout outs). We specifically loved his ability to get the party started and be a part of the wedding as opposed to being the DJ. Highly recommend Doug for any DJ needs. All of our guests loved his unique style!

Doug is the best in the business! I have known Doug for many years since he DJ-ed my sisters wedding and my whole family fell in love with him. He has been doing events for everyone we know ever since because he has the friendliest personality and makes everything SO MUCH MORE FUN!! We had a live band for my wedding so my husband and I used Doug as our MC and he knocked it out of the park. He provided great insight to the order of events prior to the big day, gave us options to play the shoelywed game and “kiss cam” which we had and it was a major hit with our guests, kept everything running smoothly throughout the entire night, was very professional on the mic, and got along GREAT with all of our vendors (I.e. our band, videographer, photographer, wedding coordinator, etc). He has been in the business for so long that he knew and had experience working with so many of our vendors, which is such a blessing to have on your wedding day! His equipment/lights/sound/creative talents and personality make every reception better! I cannot recommend Doug enough. We look forward to using him again for anniversary parties, birthday parties, graduation parties and more!!

i met doug at a bridal conference in cincinnati. we talked and i thought he was great but i was still in the early planning phase. i kept my options open and talked to other djs but i didn’t find anyone with the personality like doug. I’ve been to weddings where the dj was too much and that was the most memorable part of the evening so that showed me what i didn’t want. Doug was the only DJ that followed up appropriately, had the personality that I was looking for, had the price I was looking for, paid attention to the details, and really hit all of boxes. Hiring Doug was the best decision I made, all the other Djs did not compare (and trust me I talked to at least 12). Our wedding was amazing. He took care of everything and really made me feel at ease about my day. He assured me many times that this was my day and he would do whatever he could to make it incredible. I cannot say enough about how great he was, I highly recommend to anyone that is looking for a DJ!!!!!!!

Came across Douglas Adams Entertainment at a wedding expo show and immediately went with him! His fun and caring personality definitely played a role. But also that he is just amazing because he basically does/runs it all and leaves you feeling worry free and comfortable about the flow of your night. He’s very accommodating and open to pretty much whatever you want to play. During our wedding he was on point with the music, had fun games to incorporate and showed a servants heart as he brought me (the bride) as well as others some drinks 😁 I’d definitely book with him again if ever needed!

Doug and Andrew make for an incredible team! Doug DJ'ed my sisters wedding a few years ago, so when I found myself planning my own wedding, booking Doug was my first and easiest decision. Doug made the process easy from beginning to end. He made our wedding day flow seamlessly from one thing to the next, and managed to adapt as need be on the fly. He made sure our glasses were always full, that everyone was having a good time, and that our wedding day was one to remember!

Doug and Andrew were the perfect duo for our wedding. Doug helped us plan the entire evening and was the perfect MC. He guided us on our music choices ahead of the big day and then put it all to work. Andrew read the crowd perfectly and kept the dance floor full all night.
