We met Alex and Erika quite a while before our actual wedding came to fruition, we had long talks about our lives, and not only did we get to spend time with two very talented photographers but we acquired two new friends. Our wedding took a lot of twists and turns due to the current state of the world, and the two of them were up for whatever plans we wanted. Our wedding was an intimate weekend where our families got to know each other, away from technology and outside distractions, there was something magical about it. It almost seemed too good to be true, but their pictures really captured the moment in a way that was better than anything we could have ever asked for! -Brandon & TC

The quality is amazing. We booked dovetail about a year in advance of our wedding and kept in contact until the big day. We were easily able to negotiate in our contract to get exactly what we wanted as well. They actually recommended our videographer as well - someone they’ve worked with before. It was nice because we knew they would work well together (and we loved our videographers work so it was an easy choice)! For the big day we had two photographers, Erika and Alex, and they were wonderful. They arrived early for detail shots and getting ready shots of both groups then captured our night in its entirety. It was nice to have two photographers to capture different angles and views. They posed us throughout the night but also captured the most wonderful candid pictures as well. Both Erika and Alex were so sweet, outgoing and fit in with our wedding crew perfectly. We are forever grateful!!!

I can not understand how the pictures came out so amazing and with the perfect lighting. The turn around for the photos was extremely quick and once we saw the photos we fell in love. We knew we needed to reach out to them again for our engagement photos and I’m so glad we did! We told them we wanted a beach photo shoot and they recommended a beautiful beach in Jupiter, FL. First of all, Alex and Erika were extremely accommodating and we turned the photo shoot into a weekend trip. I have personally always been very impatient with photos but Dovetail completely changed my mind. I have never felt more comfortable in front of a camera. We did two photo shoots for the day (sunrise and sunset). The ambient was perfect! We had background music playing while we let their creative minds tell us how and where to pose. Of course the engagement photos were absolutely stunning. Fast forward over a year later, we asked them to please come out and be there for the biggest day of our lives, our destination wedding in Mexico. Alex and Erika were determined to go and shoot our wedding even during COVID times. Photography is the most important part for our wedding and of course we needed Dovetail there. At this point, we consider Alex and Erika more like friends and family rather than photographers. They have been there for us since the beginning. They have made every single event for us extremely wonderful. We love them, and our families love them. They make everyone feel comfortable in front of a camera. They are very passionate, professional, creative, happy and organized. Their eye for detail have made us feel very fortunate to have met them. e. They directed what shots to take, knew when to take us away and how to even pose us (my husband hates the camera lol). Their work speaks for itself! I am still looking at my photos 10 months in of being married and feel like I’m back in that moment. We didn’t get the wedding we expected so we also hired them for our “real” one atleast the way we envisioned it this September 2021! This will take place outside of Florida and they’ve made the arrangements simple. You receive a sneak peak basically the day of and then your whole gallery a few weeks later. We also hired them for our Christmas photos last year and will continue to use them for years to come. Don’t think twice on booking them!

Alex and Erika are such a great team they did our engagement photos and wedding and we loved the whole experience. We also got out photos back really quickly and genuinely enjoyed all the time spent with Erika and Alex. We met the day of our engagement pics but it felt like hanging out with friends.

os, but they’re a fun couple to work with. In our wedding day they went above and beyond to make sure we had pictures to capture the moments we will cherish forever. In December we also had a Christmas shoot with our puppy that came out amazing. They are without any doubt the best in town! I would highly recommend them! We can’t wait to have them capture more special moments in our family!❤️
