His grandfather, Burt Massengale, was the leader of the Burt Massengale band and orchestra, his father, Les Massengale, was a DJ and the founder of Ultimix Records, so naturally, music is in Erik’s blood. After a combination of entertaining massive crowds and taking public speaking classes, Erik and his team are sure to provide you with the most exciting wedding possible.

DJ Michael was fabulous from start to finish! Our initial phone call with him automatically made us feel like our reception was in good hands. And when it came to the reception itself, we were not disappointed! DJ Michael chose great cocktail/dinner hour music, and he seamlessly incorporated every song we requested. When the dancefloor was open, he kept the party going all night! And he even played one final song as we were packing up because it's my family's favorite. 1000/10 would recommend DJ Michael!!

Dow Oaks and DJ Brennan were PERFECT for our wedding. The dance floor was packed the entire night and Brennan did a perfect job with keeping the energy up all night. I couldn’t recommend Dow Oaks and especially Brennan more. He made our night perfect.

DJ Mike did a fantastic job at our wedding in Wilmington NC. He was very professional and we were very pleased with his communication leading up to the wedding. We had two different venues and I was worried about the logistics of setting up equipment at ceremony and reception sites but he planned appropriately; arrived to each venue early to set up which put my mind at ease. He played exactly what we wanted and EVERYONE was dancing!! The wedding was so fun and had so many compliments of how great the music was. 10/10 would recommend Dow Oaks and DJ Mike.

Our DJ Mason was very nice and guests were on the dance floor until the very last minute of the party. The one issue I had was with the sound during the wedding ceremony itself. The speakers went on and off throughout the 30 minute ceremony. This was distracting to our rabbi and many of our guests could not hear the ceremony at all. My opinion is that he should have tested the sound ahead of time.

DJ Dom absolutely KILLED it at our wedding. We got married 6mo ago and still to this day talk about how amazing the Dom was! The flow was perfect, the vibes immaculate and people were on the dance floor literally all night long. He was entertaining, respectful of our wishes, and flexible. Just enough personality without being overbearing or stealing the spotlight. Very affordable too, which we greatly appreciated as we splurged on live music for our ceremony - we definitely made the right choices all around! Cannot say enough good things about Dow Oaks and DJ Dom!

We’re so happy we had Caleb from Dow Oak Events as our DJ for our wedding! He did a fantastic job with the music throughout the day. The ceremony music was seamless and set the perfect mood. During the reception, Caleb worked hard to keep the dance floor lively and entertained, playing a great mix of songs that our guests loved. He was professional, easy to work with, and helped make our day even more special. We hired Dow Oaks as our DJ simply due to the high reviews they had, and they did not disappoint. Working with them through the planning process was incredibly easy, and extremely budget-friendly. We had Dom as our DJ for our reception, and we told him wanted people on the floor dancing as early and as much as possible, and he absolutely delivered. I couldn’t recommend Dow Oaks and Dom enough!

DJ Mike was absolutely amazing! We did most of our pre-wedding communication with Gregg, but Mike was our DJ for the day. The planning forms were so helpful to show what our music taste is and make us feel confident that we were on the same page. Mike even helped us tweak our reception timeline so it would flow the best and got us a version of a song that wasn't on streaming to use for my father/daughter dance. The guests all loved him and he kept people dancing. We would definitely recommend booking with Dow Oak Events!

You do not get to choose what DJ performs when hiring this company for your wedding. DJ Bradley was OK. He did not speak loud enough so guests missed things like when cake cutting occurred and didn't understand names he was saying when it came to introductions and speeches. He also didn't do a great job transitioning between songs. The social photo booth was a hit, but I don't think many guests knew about it. Working with this company was a fine experience, I just wish that we were able to know who our DJ was ahead of time (more than 2 weeks prior) so that we could've had more discussion about how we wanted our reception to go.

AMAZINGGGGG!!!!!!!!! Brian was absolutely FANTASTIC!! Meeting with him prior to our big day really helped us navigate the atmosphere we were trying to have for our special day. Our dance floor did not stop for the entire night which is exactly what we wanted especially with a mixed cultured crowd. Brennan was the perfect DJ for our wedding. He was so kind, professional, and easy going. He kept our wedding running smoothly the entire night and provided us with phenomenal audio. He did an outstanding job making announcements and brought a lovely energy to our wedding. On top of all of that, he played possibly the greatest setlist of music for dancing that we could've asked for. The dance floor was so lively thanks to Brennan. As far as wedding DJs go, Dow Oak Events is the best I've come across in recent memory. I'm extremely grateful that we found them when looking for a DJ for our wedding. We were assigned Dom as our DJ, and while the timeline between being assigned a DJ and when you get to talk to them cuts it pretty close to your wedding date, Dom was great about working around our schedules to speak with us and get an understanding of what we wanted out of our wedding. They also use an online platform where you can map out your needs and song requests, down to each section of the wedding. At the wedding, Dom was amazing at keeping the energy up and reading the mood of the dance floor, while working within our vision for our wedding's playlist. He was also very communicative and made sure we knew before any special songs came on. We also went with the photo booth option, which I definitely recommend! It was a hit with our guests of all ages. They offer a lot of props for the photo booth and also let you provide your own. We had Eddie manning our photo booth and he really went above and beyond in making sure everyone's photos were perfect.

Gregg was a great DJ for our wedding!! We were running a bit behind schedule and he had everything running smoothly so we could do everything we wanted and still have time to party. He was great at working in all our music requests which were a bit eclectic. Where do I even begin! Dow Oak Events was the most organized and professional vendors we worked with. From the very beginning, we had an entry zoom call and from there everything would be dealt with through our own portal through their website. There were forms for us to fill out for how we envisioned the day going, timeline, etc. Dj Freddie was OUTSTANDING. The dance floor was full the entire time, he matched the vibe we wanted and made everything perfect. We also used them for the Photo Booth, and it was our guests favorite part! At the end of the night they gave us a book that had a copy of each person/group that entered the photo booth. It was so fun to reflect on it the next day. If I could plan our whole wedding over again I would choose them again and again.

The folks we dealt with for the set up were super easy. A couple phone calls, contract via email and deposit paid online were simple to get the process rolling. My daughter and son in law worked directly with the DJ on their song list from the ceremony to the final dance just for the bride and groom. The DJ got off course a bit but my daughter rallied him back to the music that the guests were vibing to. My reason for the 4 star review vs. 5 star was due to lack of communication by their main office to request final payment. My communication came with a "whoops you forgot to pay us 2 weeks before your event so their is a $250 late charge if you still want us to come and DJ your wedding." We were working with 8 different vendors, all of who sent a reminder email that my payment was due within 10 days.

My husband and I were just married this past weekend, and we used Dow Oak Events for our music (DJ) and photobooth. Everything was spectacular! Our DJ Mike C. was communicative, willing to jump on a call or respond to our texts promptly. He was personable and easy to connect with. He wasn't stiff and remained professional while still having a down to earth approach. He was funny and had a great mix of oldies and contemporary music that kept our dance floor filled the entire night. The photobooth was a hit with all of our guests! I would highly recommend Dow Oak!

Angel was an absolute ROCK STAR at Anya & Joshua's wedding. It was a small and boisterous crowd that had a lot of options and Angle handled them amazingly. He read the crowd well and opened the night up to requests that took no time at all to pull up. He even worked with one of the bridesmaids to have an impromptu karaoke session. He kept the party going well after we all thought possible. Truly impressive.

Our DJ was PHENOMENAL!!! We had Mike & he was the absolute best. We had the full package with the photobooth & all additional lighting options. 10/10, would totally hire him again. Dow Oaks was wonderful to work with for our wedding! They are organized, professional, and so much fun to work with. Their website and planning forms are easy to use and helped us keep track of our timeline, special songs, and song requests. We had a call with DJ Brittany about a week before our wedding to go over everything, and she also helped us manage our timeline during our wedding reception. DJ Brittany was super fun and awesome and she had our dance floor full all night! We received so many compliments on our excellent DJ and guests made comments like "I haven't danced like that in 20 years!"
