Greg was incredibly professional when we spoke via phone and in person. He was ready to spin for the most romantic night of our life. He provided his professional experience to ensure a smooth night and was accommodating for any last minute change.

Brittany was on time, communicated well before and during the event. She worked well with the team and the bride and groom and hit every que she needed to. The most professional DJ service we have worked with yet!

Our DJ Ethan did a wonderful job making sure that everyone was having a good time. He played exactly the songs that I requested and couldn’t have been better. He was super easy to converse with and was an all around good guy.

You do not get to choose what DJ performs when hiring this company for your wedding. DJ Bradley was OK. He did not speak loud enough so guests missed things like when cake cutting occurred and didn't understand names he was saying when it came to introductions and speeches. He also didn't do a great job transitioning between songs. The social photo booth was a hit, but I don't think many guests knew about it. Working with this company was a fine experience, I just wish that we were able to know who our DJ was ahead of time (more than 2 weeks prior) so that we could've had more discussion about how we wanted our reception to go.

AMAZINGGGGG!!!!!!!!! Brian was absolutely FANTASTIC!! Meeting with him prior to our big day really helped us navigate the atmosphere we were trying to have for our special day. Our dance floor did not stop for the entire night which is exactly what we wanted especially with a mixed cultured crowd. He is so talented would love to book y'all again for another event because luckily we already got our happily ever after!

Brennan was the perfect DJ for our wedding. He was so kind, professional, and easy going. He kept our wedding running smoothly the entire night and provided us with phenomenal audio. He did an outstanding job making announcements and brought a lovely energy to our wedding. On top of all of that, he played possibly the greatest setlist of music for dancing that we could've asked for. The dance floor was so lively thanks to Brennan. We could not have asked for a better, more professional DJ for our wedding. We are grateful to have had Brennan.

Brian was great! We loved the variety of music played at the wedding, and it was a smooth experience from start to finish.

Dj Dom was incredible and truly made our day so fun. He was super receptive to what what wanted and took the creative freedom and NAILED it. He was so fun and brought the energy throughout the day and night. He always checked in and made sure we were okay with the flow of the music and general vibes of the event. Wish we could give him more stars!!! We are so grateful for him and his work!

Angel was fantastic! He was so easy to work with ahead of time and so kind when he met us in person during our reception. He played all of the music we requested and everything he added was perfect for our crowd. We would recommend him to anyone!

Gregg was a great DJ for our wedding!! We were running a bit behind schedule and he had everything running smoothly so we could do everything we wanted and still have time to party. He was great at working in all our music requests which were a bit eclectic. Plus, he had worked with our venue before (Smithville Inn) so he knew the little intricacies of the place which was very very helpful. Thank you!!

Where do I even begin! Dow Oak Events was the most organized and professional vendors we worked with. From the very beginning, we had an entry zoom call and from there everything would be dealt with through our own portal through their website. There were forms for us to fill out for how we envisioned the day going, timeline, etc. Dj Freddie was OUTSTANDING. The dance floor was full the entire time, he matched the vibe we wanted and made everything perfect. We also used them for the Photo Booth, and it was our guests favorite part! At the end of the night they gave us a book that had a copy of each person/group that entered the photo booth. It was so fun to reflect on it the next day. If I could plan our whole wedding over again I would choose them again and again.

Mason was kind, professional and nailed it with the playlist! Hannah was wonderful on the photobooth. Thanks for making our day so special.

The company itself was okay. Not the best communication until after Hurricane Helene. I was not a fan of our DJ though, I won’t say any names but I was extremely frustrated by him. Their set up for the forms is phenomenal and all information needed for the day (precessional songs, event songs, timeline) was there. First he was texting me day of asking me questions about the day. Then before the ceremony he was asking my bridesmaids what songs we were walking down to, after the ceremony he was asking what the first dance song was, what song we wanted for parent dances, cutting the cake, etc. All while we were trying to get wedding party and couple photos done! We also had talked to him on the phone and told him to continue playing music after we left as we still had 40 minutes of his time with the package we chose & our guests would still be there. Very disappointed

The folks we dealt with for the set up were super easy. A couple phone calls, contract via email and deposit paid online were simple to get the process rolling. My daughter and son in law worked directly with the DJ on their song list from the ceremony to the final dance just for the bride and groom. The DJ got off course a bit but my daughter rallied him back to the music that the guests were vibing to. My reason for the 4 star review vs. 5 star was due to lack of communication by their main office to request final payment. My communication came with a "whoops you forgot to pay us 2 weeks before your event so their is a $250 late charge if you still want us to come and DJ your wedding." We were working with 8 different vendors, all of who sent a reminder email that my payment was due within 10 days.

Dj Michael was AMAZING! He was so kind and kept the dance floor ALIVE!!! He made amazing suggestions and always listened to our request!

My husband and I were just married this past weekend, and we used Dow Oak Events for our music (DJ) and photobooth. Everything was spectacular! Our DJ Mike C. was communicative, willing to jump on a call or respond to our texts promptly. He was personable and easy to connect with. He wasn't stiff and remained professional while still having a down to earth approach. He was funny and had a great mix of oldies and contemporary music that kept our dance floor filled the entire night. The photobooth was a hit with all of our guests! I would highly recommend Dow Oak!

Dow Oak Events was fabulous to work with for our wedding! Our DJ, Freddy, was an awesome DJ and kept the jams playing all night! We especially loved when he let us take a mic out onto the dance floor for us to sing along to our favorite jams, made our party one to remember!

Freddie was absolutely amazing!! He kept everything running so smoothly and knew exactly where to fill in the gaps when needed! He was so easy to work with, fun, and knew how to keep our people going! We had the best time and are so thankful to have had him on our special day. Freddie even so kindly played a special bluey dance song for our little 4 year old flower girl that made the night! Thanks Freddie! We also absolutely loved the Photo Booth with Danielle. She made it so fun and special and it truly was a hit! We absolutely loved the keepsake photo book at the end. The best memories! Thanks Dow Oak! :)

We had DJ David in Raleigh, NC and it is the one thing I would change about my wedding. My fiancé and I had spent months hand-selecting every single song we wanted played at our wedding and provided the DJ with a playlist for each section (ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, dancing). The mistakes started in the ceremony when our recessional song was not played. Then, during dinner, we realized our playlist was not being played and my husband had to go up to the booth and let David know. To which he responded he didn’t know he had it. We had instructed for the specialty dance songs to be faded out after a minute, which neglected to occur. In fact, during each dance, we had to signal to him when we were ready for the song to cut. Dancing is where the real disaster occurred. Like I said, we provided a playlist with every song we wanted played. The second song played was not one we had included so my husband went up to make sure everything was okay. The DJ said we did not provide him with enough songs to last the entire time and he needed to add some songs to fill the space but he is mixing them in. We thought this was weird since we provided over 4 hours of dancing music but left it alone. After a few more songs had played and not a single one of them was one we provided, we went back up to the booth. We requested that if there was any time that needed to be filled, we could do so at the end. Finally, he started actually playing our songs. However, he was playing weird EDM remixes of our songs. We let it slide for a while but there was one song we were really excited about and when it played, it was 90% EDM remix and 10% the actual song. This time, I went up to the booth and simply requested that he play the regular versions of our songs. I even suggests just playing straight from our playlist. He got pretty sassy with me, saying that that is what he was doing and he was only playing the EDM tracks during song transitions. Which, literally just was not true. He then told us the transitions began a minute before the end of a song and a minute into the start. We explained that a smooth transition was not something we were worried about and just wanted to dance to our favorite songs. This discussion lasted a few minutes before family members realized what was going on and got involved. During the discussion, David was gaslighting us and kept repeating that he was “just doing his job”. He did begin playing the songs through, finally. It was a shame that either myself or my husband had to go up to the booth 4 separate times on our wedding night just to get the DJ to play through a playlist. I thought we were making his job pretty easy, already having every song selected. After the wedding, we went through our playlist and there were several songs that were not played, meaning we did in fact have enough songs and there was absolutely no reason to need to play songs not included on our list. Overall, 100% would have gone with a different DJ if I knew this would be the experience we were going to have. We found David unprofessional and absolutely did not respect our wishes.

Angel was an absolute ROCK STAR at Anya & Joshua's wedding. It was a small and boisterous crowd that had a lot of options and Angle handled them amazingly. He read the crowd well and opened the night up to requests that took no time at all to pull up. He even worked with one of the bridesmaids to have an impromptu karaoke session. He kept the party going well after we all thought possible. Truly impressive.

Our DJ was PHENOMENAL!!! We had Mike & he was the absolute best. We had the full package with the photobooth & all additional lighting options. 10/10, would totally hire him again. So many people told me this was the best wedding they have ever been to & I am positive a big part of that is because of our AMAZING DJ, Mike!!!! Dow Oaks was wonderful to work with for our wedding! They are organized, professional, and so much fun to work with. Their website and planning forms are easy to use and helped us keep track of our timeline, special songs, and song requests. We had a call with DJ Brittany about a week before our wedding to go over everything, and she also helped us manage our timeline during our wedding reception. DJ Brittany was super fun and awesome and she had our dance floor full all night! We received so many compliments on our excellent DJ and guests made comments like "I haven't danced like that in 20 years!"

Dom was incredible! He was great at communicating with us, he arrived to the venue early, and he ultimately created the perfect atmosphere for our big day. Not only did we think he was amazing, but our friends and family gave remarkable reviews. He knows how to read the room and keep the dance floor alive!

Dow Oaks was excellent to work with from the start. Erik was very responsive and kept us updated up to our wedding day. We had David as our DJ. David was awesome! From the ceremony to the reception, everything flowed so smoothly. He kept us and our guests dancing all night long! He was a pleasure to work with and helped make our wedding dreams come true!

The DJ was amazing and very personable and easy to work with! He has a very calming presence when relating with wedding staff and an amazing speaker voice for the mic to grab everyone's attention and keep the event rolling!! Everything went so smoothly! Highly recommend!

We couldn’t have made a better choice for a DJ! One of the most important parts of our wedding day was ensuring that our dance floor was popular. Bradley made sure it was exactly what we hoped it would be. His music choice was great. He followed our timeline to the minute. His timing during the ceremony and reception ensured that the night ran smoothly and there were no awkward in-between moments. Bradley had a great rapport with our guests and was very entertaining. And the British accent didn’t hurt!

Mason from Dow Oak was absolutely wonderful to work with for our wedding! Mason customized our playlist to a T. We told him our vibe and he ran with it. During our reception dinner, tons of our guests walked up to us and asked if we made the playlist (it was all Mason!) Everyone was saying how awesome the music was and that only continued into the night. We were lucky to have amazing weather that Mason had to compete against. While many gathered outside, he was able to keep the dance floor bouncing. To the very end of our reception when he “joined us” for our last dance, he was the best DJ we could have asked for. Can’t recommend him and his company enough. Thank you Mason!

I am a part of a wedding photo/video team and really enjoyed working with Dow Oak Events recently. When we took the couple out for sunset photos (before speeches and parent dances even), the groom announced "the DJ is killing it, don't ya think?" I think that says it all! When you make an impression before dinner hour is even over, you've got "it" Mason was awesome to work with and was super accommodating to our wants/needs from a videographer standpoint. 10/10 would recommend!
