We had a lot of moving parts to our day, having our ceremony and reception at different venues, and she made everything come together seamlessly. We loved working with Ainslie while planning our June 2022 wedding in southern RI. We booked her month-of coordination package and are so grateful that we did. Ainslie was professional, fun, and always helpful with our questions/concerns. She came to our rehearsal on Friday pm, and then was with us all day on Saturday to keep the timeline moving along. We definitely recommend working with Ainslie - you will not regret it.

Ainslie was a dream to work with! She listened to all of my ideas and made all of them come true on my wedding day. She made sure everything was perfect so I could have stress free day. Ainslie was so sweet and so attentive. All of my vendors loved working with her.

Hiring Ainslie as our day of coordinator was the BEST decision we could have made. Our venue was a lot of do it yourself and I was worried that my family and I would be stressed the day of with getting everything ready. I cannot express how grateful I was to have Ainslie's help that day. The week before the event, she reached out to all my vendors so that they could contact her that day with any questions about location or set up. I had all my decor in labeled boxes for her and by the time I arrived to the venue, she had transformed the space into exactly what I had envisioned! She not only set up all my decor but also helped with the timing of ceremony processional and making sure everything flowed smoothly throughout the night. If there were any problems or hiccups that day, I have no idea because she clearly handled it all! Our wedding day wouldn't have been what it was without Ainslie and I highly recommend having her as your coordinator for your big day or event :) Thank you thank you!

Hiring Ainslie Daly was one of the best decisions made when planning our wedding. She handled both our cocktail party the evening prior and our wedding. I so appreciated sharing the vision of these events, and from there - she literally took the reigns and brought it to life! She worked well with the venue and other vendors; created a masterful timeline so we all had an understanding of the event flow - and I especially liked her willingness to manage the silly things that come up. The wedding flew by, I am SO glad I could give it to Ainslie and truly immerse myself in the event itself. I HIGHLY recommend her - not only for weddings, but for any important event. I will!

We were so blessed to have Ainslie for our day of wedding coordinator!! I wish I could give her more than 5 stars. She was incredibly organized, so down to earth, and such a calming presence on the most joyous but hectic day of our lives. She handled every situation with nothing but grace the entire day, start to finish. She remembered all of the tiny little details and reminded us to plan for them ahead of time, so we weren’t panicking with last minute decisions the day of. She kept us on schedule, which is not an easy task! She was such an asset to our day!! We had so many materials & glassware that needed to be set up and broken down at the end of the night and Ainslie handled it all! The setup was exactly as we had envisioned, and she even went above and beyond to pack everything up safely for us so we and our families didn’t have to stress about a single solitary thing. She truly made our day flawless from start to finish. I cannot put into words just how thankful and incredibly grateful we are for her! This women is truly AMAZING at what she does and is such an amazing human :)

I’m certain our wedding would not have happened without Ainslie. When we first met in the summer of 2020, we were pretty optimistic that we’d been through the worst of the pandemic and that things would be back to normal well before our June 2021 date. We were very wrong, but Ainslie was there for us every step of the way. We though we were just hiring her to help coordinate with our vendors in the weeks leading up to the wedding but she went above and beyond at every step. She kept us on schedule and up to date with the constantly changing state regulations. She was our sounding board, our voice of reason, and our cheerleader. Her confidence, optimism, and most of all professionalism, kept us calm and focused on our goal of throwing the best wedding the universe would allow. There were moments where we were ready to throw in the towel, but each time Ainslie told us to hang on a little bit longer. And she was right every time, down to the day of the wedding when she convinced me not to move the ceremony under the tent due to an iffy forecast. Best decision of the day by far. Unsurprisingly, all of our other vendors raved about her. We were so happy with the Dream Team we assembled for the wedding and Ainslie was truly the center of it. She gave us so much peace of mind throughout the process. I’d recommend her to anyone for any event. She’s a dream to work with.

Where do I begin? Ainslie was absolutely amazing to work with from start to finish! We all know 2020 hasn’t been easy for brides or weddings in general, but Ainslie was amazing with helping keep me calm and being flexible if we needed to postpone. Ainslie’s attention to detail is out of this world- seriously after creating the detailed schedule for the day, a huge relief was lifted from my shoulders! Ainslie joined us for the rehearsal dinner and walked us through exactly what we would be doing on the big day. Then the day was finally here and I was so calm, I didn’t have to do anything to get the backyard ready for the wedding- she did it all and pulled my vision together perfectly! She made sure everything was taken care of throughout- we definitely couldn’t have pulled it off without her. I cannot recommend Ainslie enough- she will make your big day amazing beyond expectations and as stress free as possible!

Ainslie is the absolute best! We hired Down Home Events for the "day of coordinator" option. She was so helpful in both the leading up to and planning of the day as well as coordinating the ceremony and entire reception. She brought an assistant as well and was able to make sure all decorations were set as I requested and was able to work with all of my outside vendors as well. Her prices are incredibly reasonable and I cannot say enough good things, she was truly the reason why it was such a relaxing morning and smooth day!

When Ainslie of Down Home Events found out that my soon to be husband and I postponed our wedding due to the pandemic, she was quick to step in and ask if she could help and plan a micro wedding for us! Having been friends with Ainslie for 25 years now, we have planned multiple bachelorette and bridal showers together without a hitch for parties less than 50 people and I have been to many events she has planned with well over 200 people which were executed seamlessly. She was definitely right person for the job! Ainslie planned us a dream micro wedding! She found the most beautiful location, hired a florist and a photographer. She would have hired us an officiant as well but we were fortunate to have one already. The day was perfect.... my now husband and I had pictures taken on the water, our close family was there to watch us (socially distanced, of course), Ainslie came equipped with a tripod to mount her phone so we could live stream for all of family and friends to be “present” and to top it off she brought cannolis for us as that is my husbands favorite instead of cake. She took all of the stress off of us and we definitely recommend Ainslie for all of your events, including micro weddings!

Looking for an event coordinator, look no further! Ainslie at Down Home Events was the coordinator for my wedding and I couldn’t have been more thankful. I had roughly 160 guest attending my wedding and everything turned out amazing. As a little reference, I was planning my wedding from out of state (I am from North Kingstown but lived in Boston) and hiring Ainslie was the best decision I made in my wedding planning process. She not only makes you feel like a friend she went out of her way to make time to attend my rehearsal and introduce herself to all the other vendors involved. She is professional, responsive and will really take the time to understand your vision and make your event go off without a hitch. I couldn’t imagine working with anyone else!
