ke we were on the same page in what we were looking for. We wanted our flowers to have a rustic, fall Colorado feel. The quote they sent outlined a number of different tier options with examples of various flowers. It was thorough and easy to follow. I'm not very good at making decisions and the way it was outlined made it very easy to make a decision and choose the option that fell within our price range. The flowers turned out better than I ever could have imagined! The first comment from everyone who has looked at our pictures has been, "Wow, your flowers were stunning!" They are hardworking and have wonderful attention to detail. I would recommend Down Home Flowers for any event!

s able to show us many examples and to be very clear that her ideas matched our vision. She was also very willing to work within our budget, varying plant choices and arrangement to meet cost. We originally thought we might have to DIY some of our flowers to save money, but Steph let us know what she could do with the budget we had and came up with arrangements far more beautiful than any alternatives we could have made. She was very receptive to several changes to the order and made the whole process very easy. On the big day, as I was stressing out about everything else, a friend let me know the flowers had arrived, right on time. My stepmom went to collect them and came back with a look of awe and told me they were just beautiful. Everyone who received a bouquet or corsage/boutonniere remarked about how gorgeous the flowers were, and we continued to received compliments on them all evening. Even still, as I show pictures to people who didn't attend, many notice how great the flowers are and comment on them. Steph was incredibly easy to work with, able to do a lot with our budget, excellent at understanding the themes we wanted, and provided great results. We worked with a lot of vendors and people for this wedding, and Steph was truly one of the most professional and provided one of the best end-products for the event.

and intimate occasion you want to meet your vendors face to face. She says she waited because I didn't tell her my exact budget. I didn't tell her my budget because I wanted to meet her so I knew she took my wedding seriously and because she had already given prices. When I simply asked for clarification on a price she'd given, she became very rude. She even made a comment about how she's worked with a florist who has brides that have $20,000 budgets & I couldn't expect the same on a tight budget. She proceeded to basically tell me that my wedding was a waste of her time. I never expected the same thing as a bride paying $20,000 for flowers. I was very specific about what I wanted & the way she worded her pricing was not clear. She should not fly off the handle when asked to clarify details of such an important part of the most important day of someone's life! Seems to me she is only willing to meet once she hears a budget & decides whether it's worthy of her time or not. I'm sorry, but every single bride is worthy of wedding services no matter what their budget. If she had just met me, there would not have been any issues but she admittedly held out. Don't waste your precious planning time like I did. Go somewhere that treats every wedding & bride with equal importance.

(She is more affordable then my Costco and Sam's Club quote and I had 1 bridal bouquet, 5 bridesmaids bouquets and 7 groomsmen bouts and 2 mother bouts). Steph is easy to work with, kind and honest. She did an absolutely amazing job. I told my friend (a wedding planner) to start recommending her ASAP. I will also recommend her to ALL of my friends! I had a rustic mountain theme and she tied that in wonderfully. They even delivered and set all my other decorations which was a HUGE help to me since I could not decorate the venue before my ceremony. They also delivered the bouquets prior to the ceremony.
