I truly can't say enough good things about Down Home Flowers! They did such a phenomenal job with our flowers for our wedding in October. At our first meeting I immediately felt li...
ke we were on the same page in what we were looking for. We wanted our flowers to have a rustic, fall Colorado feel. The quote they sent outlined a number of different tier options with examples of various flowers. It was thorough and easy to follow. I'm not very good at making decisions and the way it was outlined made it very easy to make a decision and choose the option that fell within our price range. The flowers turned out better than I ever could have imagined! The first comment from everyone who has looked at our pictures has been, "Wow, your flowers were stunning!" They are hardworking and have wonderful attention to detail. I would recommend Down Home Flowers for any event!
Down Home Flowers did a great job on my wedding flowers. Great communication, easy to talk to and brainstorm ideas together. She didn't get frustrated with me changing my mind on w...
hat I wanted. Great communication, Responded to emails within a few hours. Flowers were perfect, exactly what I wanted, and they even lasted a whole week after the wedding. They worked with my budget and price of flowers was cheaper than I expected.
Steph did an amazing job and I couldn't have asked for more. When we met she made sure to get a thorough idea of what we wanted in terms of flowers, arrangement, and colors. She wa...
s able to show us many examples and to be very clear that her ideas matched our vision. She was also very willing to work within our budget, varying plant choices and arrangement to meet cost. We originally thought we might have to DIY some of our flowers to save money, but Steph let us know what she could do with the budget we had and came up with arrangements far more beautiful than any alternatives we could have made. She was very receptive to several changes to the order and made the whole process very easy. On the big day, as I was stressing out about everything else, a friend let me know the flowers had arrived, right on time. My stepmom went to collect them and came back with a look of awe and told me they were just beautiful. Everyone who received a bouquet or corsage/boutonniere remarked about how gorgeous the flowers were, and we continued to received compliments on them all evening. Even still, as I show pictures to people who didn't attend, many notice how great the flowers are and comment on them. Steph was incredibly easy to work with, able to do a lot with our budget, excellent at understanding the themes we wanted, and provided great results. We worked with a lot of vendors and people for this wedding, and Steph was truly one of the most professional and provided one of the best end-products for the event.
Steph was wonderful to work with! Unlike all the other florists we met with she put together a very personalized bid of what we wanted and even included example pictures and a key...
of the flowers she was planning to use so we knew what to expect! When we were talking to her about what we wanted she had wonderful suggestions that really fit with what I had envisioned! The flowers were absolutely beautiful, and just what I wanted!!
Stephani did an AMAZING job on our wedding flowers. She surpassed our expectations and I got so many compliments on my bouquet. She designed all the flowers off of just a few pictu...
res we sent her, because I really had no idea what I was looking for. She was also extremely resourceful and got most of our flowers from local vendors, and even used some plants in her backyard to give us the best price possible. We can't say enough good things about Down Home Flowers and would recommend their services to anyone!
I would not recommend this florist. I really liked Steph at first but she repeatedly avoided meeting with me which is standard when seeking a wedding florist. For such an important...
and intimate occasion you want to meet your vendors face to face. She says she waited because I didn't tell her my exact budget. I didn't tell her my budget because I wanted to meet her so I knew she took my wedding seriously and because she had already given prices. When I simply asked for clarification on a price she'd given, she became very rude. She even made a comment about how she's worked with a florist who has brides that have $20,000 budgets & I couldn't expect the same on a tight budget. She proceeded to basically tell me that my wedding was a waste of her time. I never expected the same thing as a bride paying $20,000 for flowers. I was very specific about what I wanted & the way she worded her pricing was not clear. She should not fly off the handle when asked to clarify details of such an important part of the most important day of someone's life! Seems to me she is only willing to meet once she hears a budget & decides whether it's worthy of her time or not. I'm sorry, but every single bride is worthy of wedding services no matter what their budget. If she had just met me, there would not have been any issues but she admittedly held out. Don't waste your precious planning time like I did. Go somewhere that treats every wedding & bride with equal importance.
Our experience with Down Home Wedding Flowers was second to none. Communication with Steph was a breeze. Steph has such a wealth of knowledge. With very little direction from me...
, she conjured up the most beautiful bouquets and boutonnieres I've ever seen. They were exactly what I wanted. Steph and Dylan showed up early on the day of the wedding to make sure everything was perfect. The flowers were GORGEOUS!!! Steph made our flower girl a beautiful flower crown. Thank you so much Down Home Flowers!!!
Steph is great! I was not the bride who knew exactly which flowers I wanted at my wedding, in fact I was a bit lost prior to meeting Steph. She suggested tons of options and truly ...
went above and beyond in helping me to decide what would work best for us, and our budget. We chose a wild and natural look for our flowers and they turned out beautifully! She delivered everything to our venue for free, and helped set up. Everything was perfect, and I couldn't be happier.
Stephanie at Down Home Flowers did a great job. Our flowers were beautiful and exactly what we wanted. We couldn't believe how affordable it was.
Looking for a florist to make the bouquets and boutineeers was TOUGH! I met with Steph and her BF casually at 1st so she could see what I was thinking for the flowers.

municating for months we narrowed down what I wanted. I told her what my budget was and she came in BELOW it! (She is more affordable then my Costco and Sam's Club quote and I had 1 bridal bouquet, 5 bridesmaids bouquets and 7 groomsmen bouts and 2 mother bouts). Steph is easy to work with, kind and honest. She did an absolutely amazing job. I told my friend (a wedding planner) to start recommending her ASAP. I will also recommend her to ALL of my friends! What an amazing experience working with Steph and Down Home Flowers.
I tried to upload a picture of my bouquet with no luck!
Down Home Flowers did an amazing job with my wedding flowers. I was working with a tight budget and she stuck to it, even came in a little under. Stephanie worked with me for month...
s exchanging ideas and making sure everything was exactly the way I wanted. The flowers were fresh, locally grown, and absolutely beautiful. I had a rustic mountain theme and she tied that in wonderfully. They even delivered and set all my other decorations which was a HUGE help to me since I could not decorate the venue before my ceremony. They also delivered the bouquets prior to the ceremony. I am so happy I found this hidden gem in Denver. Wonderful people and wonderful company!!!

d a BEAUTIFUL job. Her arrangements were so gorgeous and creative. I told her a few ideas of what I was looking for and let her take it from there – my mind’s eye could not have pictured something as amazing as the result. I could tell that she carefully considered each arrangement and each flower placement. I would highly recommend Down Home Flowers for professional, beautiful, unique and truly stunning wedding flowers.
