Downright Saxy is a one-man band that performs Oldies Hits, Top 40 Hits, and Jazz. Downright Saxy is the perfect choice for smaller spaces and budgets. If you want more sound and presence, Jeff Miguel can add a second horn player to make a full brass section.
Downright Saxy performs instrumental covers of classic hits and today’s hits. Jeff Miguel plays the vocal melodies live on the saxophone and uses a pre-recorded rhythm section to fill out the sound.
Downright Saxy is great for providing music for the Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, Dinner, and smaller Receptions.

Jeff Miguel is the saxophone player for Downright Saxy, and truly, he made our wedding the fantastic experience that it was. Without him, it simply would not have been the same. Jeff learned multiple songs that we requested, but had unlimited songs that we chose from for the reception. I don't think there was a SINGLE guest that did not approach me at the wedding or message me after asking for his information. JUST WOW!
Jeff was a great addition to our wedding day. He truly added that special feel we were looking for to make our day unique to us. From day one Jeff was incredibly easy to contact and quick to respond. He was attentive and agreeable to our requests even with changes the day of. I would hightly recommend having Jeff share is unbelievable talent with you at your event.
Jeff was absolutely FANTASTIC! From the beginning of the planning process to the actual day of the event (where he wowed our guests)! Do not hesitate to book Jeff. He is so talented and really works with you on the style of music you want. Trust me when I say our event would not have been the same with Jeff (over 100+ guests in attendance). He was one of the highlights for many of our guests. When planning for my next event, Jeff will definitely be at the top of my list of music choices for the evening.
