We stayed in touch with them throughout the cocktail hour to be sure we were all good, and the emcee knew how to pronounce our bridal party's names. They learned our songs and kept the dance floor full all night! No need for us to make a playlist. Thank goodness that was a stress I didn't want. We just had to make a no-playlist and they judged the rest!

During the wedding reception, Downtime exceeded all of our expectations. They were very good in keeping the energy high and smoothly transitioning into songs. I appreciated the mashups that the band performed as well. The song selection was on point and we could tell they looked at our song selection sheet when planning their set list. Not only was the 8-Piece band wonderful;, our Jazz Trio Band during dinner was fantastic. We received just as many compliments for the Trio as we did for the full piece band. tayed until 11 because she loved the band so much! They also were very accommodating when we asked them to do a dance including only married couples the night of the wedding. The could have easily said no but were gracious enough to accommodate this last minute request. It turned out to be a great hit and we were able to see my great aunt and uncle on the dance floor dancing and celebrating 67 years of marriage. The music was fantastic and totally set the atmosphere and mood of our wedding. Jon was incredibly helpful and answered all of our questions and also helped us with suggestions of when to cut the cake, throw the garter, etc. Since this is the first (and hopefully last) time my husband and I will be married we needed some help learning the ropes and Jon was there to answer any questions we had. Their website was also great. The song list made it easy to figure out what songs we wanted for different parts of the reception and the promotional video was a great tool. It allowed us not only to discover what the band had to offer, but to show off to our friends before the wedding to give them a little taste of what our reception would be like. The only problem is that their promotional video just doesn’t do justice to how great they really are, but you just have to see them in person to find that out! Overall, they enhanced our wedding day and we were so happy that we chose them!

Picking our band was probably the most important wedding decision for us and we read reviews/watched videos for about 15 other local bands before making our decision. Hands down, Downtime is the absolute best. They are surprisingly reasonably priced, but more importantly, are just hugely talented musicians. The two main vocalists (one male and one female) were ABSOLUTELY amazing and people were commenting all night about how incredible they sounded. When we started our first dance (the first vocal song of the night), we both looked at each other and immediately said: "wow, they are REALLY REALLY good." I was so worried about having a cheesy "wedding band" but Downtime could not be further from that. They are an incredible, talented, energetic group of musicians who (luckily) perform at weddings. Definitely the best decision we could have made. Thank you, Jon and Downtime for making our wedding so amazing!

He responded quickly to all of my emails and makes sure to address every question. He definitely takes the time to understand exactly what you want and he 100% delivers. If you are type A and need to know your band will be on point on your big day- you need to hire Downtime. As for our big day- I cannot believe how much fun everyone had at our wedding. Starting with the bridal party intros to the last dance.... everything was so flawlessly executed by the band and I could not of been happier. Downtime transitioned between songs so perfectly... there was never a lull and the dance floor was PACKED. The way they interacted with the crowd was SO well done... just kept people engaged and was never in a cheesy or awkward way. When my venue turned up the lights to kick everyone out at the end of the night, not a single person left the dance floor. I think everyone would of stayed all night dancing if we were allowed. I had so many people tell me they have never had more fun at a wedding. Having Downtime at our wedding was one of the best decisions I made. They made our wedding SO much fun and they were so great to work with... you really cannot go wrong hiring Downtime! Cheers!

Even our guests who "don't dance" ended up on the dance floor because, with this band, you can't just sit and listen! No one could stop complimenting their talent and energy! Jon and his team were so great to work with in the planning phase. They coordinated seamlessly with the rest of our vendors. My family had a number of unorthodox wedding traditions that we needed to incorporate throughout the night and Jon made the piecing together of the evening feel like a breeze. As a bride, I was able to relax and enjoy my evening even more because I knew the band was in charge and our guests were having fun (especially during the polkas!) Do yourself and your guests a favor. Spare them yet another wedding DJ'ed by an awkward teenager with a MacBook. Downtime is the way to go for a timeless good time!!! :)
