We went with the Legend package and the musicians for the ceremony were beyond what I ever expected. I only wish that I could have sat in the church as the bride to listen to the pre-ceremony music live. You don't just get "good" musicians, you get expert professional musicians! But the reception really blew us away. The cocktail hour music made the venue feel like we were at the fanciest party and then when the dance party started, EVERYONE was dancing! They played a wide range of music and really set the vibe for the evening to be high energy and a ton of fun. I had been saving up for a few years to hire Downtown Collective specifically after seeing some videos online, and it was 100% worth it. We've been hearing from friends and family ever since the wedding about how fabulous they were and asking for their info. There should be no "on the fence" thoughts about hiring them. NEW i needed them a part of our day. Cornell and Ether were so beyond helpful with the process and going over timelines for me. we chose to do the 6pc instrumental and it was the PERFECT vibe. people could eat, drink, all while our favorite songs were playing in the background via live music. their saxophone man is such a vibe and we kept getting continuous compliments on the music and the energy. if you want to spice it up from a DJ, please meet with Cornell, he is so sweet and you will NOT regretting booking them for your day. i kinda want to get divorced and then have a huge wedding so i can hire the band again but with more members and the vocalist

Special Touches: We opted for the cold sparks package, which was a fantastic addition. The sparks were fired off multiple times during the event, including for our grand entrance and at a key moment during our first dance as a married couple. These special effects added a magical touch to our celebration. Open-Air Photo Booth: Another highlight of the package was the open-air photo booth, which was a complete hit with our guests. Nearly everyone stayed until the last song just to have once more dance which is something I have never seen before. I can not recommend them enough, if you want a band with energy, ability and improvisational ability look no further. They have a bead on the crowd and will adjust a setlist in order to keep the party going all night. PAY THEM ALREADY!! THEY DESERVE IT!
