and Rob did an excellent job all evening DJ’ing. He performed the Master of Ceremony functions professionally and kept our reception events running smoothly. We had a wide range of ages at the wedding, so we asked him to prepare for popular music from old 40s standards to present-day favorites. Rob prepared a great mix of tunes, starting with some of the quieter ones during dinner and then amping it up as the dancing began. Rob was super friendly and accommodating throughout and he matched exactly what my daughter was looking for. He accepted requests throughout the evening and was usually able to locate and play the requests, even though they weren’t always on his playlist. Awesome guy and superb DJ. I would recommend for any wedding or large event.

strip was amazing and I highly recommend getting the photobook they offer at the booth with notes from your guests! It was one of our favorite things. Everything ran so smoothly - I was an out of town bride so coordinating on the phone was something I was worried about. Travis made sure to make sure everything I wanted in song choices and my first dance song (even working late at 10 pm ! to make sure the song was just right as it was shortened) . I definitely recommend this company for anyone who wants a great vendor at a really great price point. Even though we didn't get the dry ice (this was because of supply and demand not because they forgot it) - I got my refund quickly and even after the wedding Travis sent me the folder for all the photobooth strips in a quick and timely manner.

He did an amazing job making sure people knew when things would happen and giving them notice to be prepared. He did a great job mixing up country and popular music to keep people dancing and excited until we left. Downtown event services also has a photo booth and it was so cute! They had a ton of great props and made sure i got a copy of all the photos!

ne of the best decisions we made was a last-minute photo booth addition to our reception. The pictures were priceless and the equipment ran flawlessly. Our DJ was great, but possibly a little inexperienced. He did a great job of keeping people on the dance floor, taking song requests, and maintaining the reception timeline. All-in-all, the Downtown Event Services team is top-notch and we'd recommend them to any of our friends!

Which is exactly what you want on your wedding day because it’s one less thing to worry about. Absolutely no reason to go ahead and book them if you’re already reading this . wanted to use for the first dances. They were extremely professional, friendly, and had top notch song choices. The dance floor was packed the whole night and I received numerous compliments from guests about the music.

on stands and placed them on both sides of the room for the slideshow because he said it would be better , and he didn’t charge me for the upgrade . He helped our son get the slideshow ready , and when we got to the event it was stuck on one picture , so I called to see if he could help me over the phone , no sir Travis came to the event in 5 minutes , and fixed it . The slideshow was a trip down memory lane for everyone , and so very meaningful for to me as a mom . All parent’s take pictures , and it was so cool to see them run on a slideshow on these huge TV’s all through the evening . Travis also did the reception , all I can say is wow , over the top , and I was impressed . He is a great DJ , everyone danced all night . I am sure he can do just about anything , he has so many impressive services . Thank you Travis for making both evenings special for Allison & Sterling , and all of our families .

Our DJ was Kenny and he was wonderful and really knew how to work the crowd. He was great and everything ran seamlessly! Our photo booth attendant was Layla and she was wonderful as well! The photo booth was a hit! Each person taking a photo receives a photo print out and a digital copy sent to their phone as well. Then the bride and groom receive a copy of all the images that were taken! It was a great experience and I would highly recommend them!

and family still talk about how amazing our DJ was. Travis was so wonderful to work with. He went above and beyond for us. My husband had a list of songs he wanted played and Travis made it happen for us! All of our guest were up dancing (yes even grandma!) Looking back at our wedding photos you can tell that our guest had a blast and it was the highlight of the evening. Uncle Gary danced so much he broke his shoe. It's now one of my favorite family stories we all share and laugh about four years later.

I had my final meeting the Wednesday before my wedding and I was running 20 minutes late due to a mix up at an appointment I had with another vendor that day;Travis and Justin were both very understanding and welcoming the second I walked in the door! They are all very knowledgeable and professional with every step of the wedding planning process. Travis was even willing to help me figure out what time to start my ceremony due to the way the sunsets at my venue. Justin was our DJ and he was phenomenal and didn't miss a beat even when I was changing events at the reception during the reception! Like me throwing in a staged exit during the reception! We also rented a photobooth last minute through Downtown Event Services and Madison was our photobooth attendant and she was a pleasure to work with! I have nothing but good things to say about every aspect of DES! Choosing them will make your entire event run smoother!

The questionnaires provided to us before our wedding was very thorough, and I really felt ready for our wedding after going through each portion of the questionnaires. I knew exactly what was going to happen and when, and it definitely helped put this anxious bride's mind at ease that my event was so well planned! Travis worked together with our coordinator to create and execute our wedding day timeline, and that was another thing that I was so grateful for. He was a great MC! Our event was truly flawless, and ran so smoothly. Whenever I had a question or needed something done during our reception, Travis was quick to make any announcement or take care of any request that I needed. His energy was so positive, and I received many compliments from our guests on how much they enjoyed our DJ. One thing that I was really pleased with was the playlist that Travis went with throughout our wedding. I liked that I was not expected to provide a 4-hour long playlist for our reception.. aside from the special songs (i.e. father/daughter dance, exit songs, etc) I was only specifically asked to provide "must plays" and "must not plays". Based on that and the energy of our guests, Travis played music depending on the vibe of the party! It was AWESOME!!!!!! Thank you so much, Downtown Event Services!!
