ation. The product they offer is outstanding — the uplights added a warm and elegant glow that elevated the entire atmosphere.
Working with their team was an absolute breeze. While you might expect a lighting setup to be complicated, they make the process incredibly simple with their seamless setup and breakdown services. Honestly, the hardest part of the entire experience was choosing our colors from the full RGB spectrum — the options are endless!
The lights themselves are fantastic: safe, efficient, and cool to the touch, so we never had to worry about heat or safety issues. They made a beautiful accent to the room, and with the house lights dimmed, the effect was even more stunning.
Another huge plus is that Downtown Uplighting takes care of all the logistics. From vendor coordination to drop-off and pickup, everything was handled with professionalism, allowing us to focus on enjoying our day.
If you’re looking to brighten up and enhance any venue, we cannot recommend Downtown Uplighting enough. Their product and service are top-notch, and they will absolutely help you create an unforgettable setting for your event.

It was a pleasure working with Rob and Alison from Downtown Uplighting for our June 2018 wedding. They are just great people who ‘get it’. There is obviously so much planning invol...
ved with your big day, but Rob & Alison are true professionals who make the uplighting process a breeze. They are prepared to take the bull by the horns or step back and let you run the show, which ever you prefer. And we choose a little of both. We worked collaboratively with Alison to find the perfect color, and then Rob & Alison worked directly with our venue to handle everything else. From the original consultative discussions to the end of the wedding - they were so easy to work with. The uplighting really added that extra touch to bring everything together, and it looked great when the main lights went down for dancing. I can’t say enough good things about Downtown Uplighting. Highly Recommend!!
To be honest, I didn't even think about lighting until just a few month before my wedding. We booked a band rather than a DJ, which is perhaps why I hadn't even thought about. On...
ce I realized I needed to book someone and quick, I was frantically searching the internet... I met with a few lighting designers who gave me astronomical quotes, which were really just too expensive. I wanted, simple, elegant, amber toned lighting. Our wedding planner at the DoubleTree Boston Noth Shore recommended Downtown Uplighting for us. My mom set up a time to meet with them, and they were so great and accommodating right from the start. As soon as I explained what I wanted, they knew exactly how to make my vision a reality. Their prices were phenomenal and perfect for us. The day of the wedding, they tailored our lighting to exactly how it needed to be, adding a few more uplights to ensure that the room looked perfect. I highly recommend Downtown Uplighting -- They're fantastic and a pleasure to work with!

But above all, they were beyond happy to help me get the bang for my buck. They were able to accomplish my vision while accommodating my budget and the results were GREAT!
The uplighting really enhanced the ballroom we had our reception in. Plus, not realizing it, but the uplighting brought all of our wedding photos up to the next level. Something we'll have forever.
Thank you Downtown Uplighting. You were amazing!

pond to our last-minute request for uplighting for our wedding. They dropped off the lights the day before and picked up the lighting kit the day after our wedding no problem; they even threw in a couple of extra lights! The lights themselves were so easy to use and could be personalized to whatever color we wanted! While most other uplighting costs an exorbitant amount, Downtown Uplighting was extremely reasonable. These two understand weddings and just want to help make your day as special as possible within your budget! I highly recommend working with them!
