I couldn’t be happier with my experience with Ting and her team. She was always excited to talk about our wedding and the photo ideas I had. She was patient with my husband who can not stand still long enough to take a photo. We just got out full gallery less than a month after our wedding and the photos are phenomenal. I truly love every single one!! We cannot wait to get our video back in a few months.

From our very first phone conversion, Ting Yi and her team were an absolute joy to work with! Our first experience with Ting was our engagement shoot. My husband and I are not very comfortable in front of a camera and she made us feel at ease from the moment we met her! We had so much fun and knew that we had made the right decision booking DP Studios as our wedding photographer. Leading up to our wedding day, Ting kept communication open and we were able to text/call her with any questions we had. On our big day Ting and her team were so wonderful to work with! After we received our wedding photos, I wanted to make a few edits and the team was so incredibly accommodating! They came out absolutely stunning and we will cherish them forever. The 100 star wedding photo and video team- Ting Yi and her team were incredible to work with! Ricky was our lead photographer, and Egor was the lead videographer; they kept the day moving to ensure we captured all of our important shots on the wedding schedule. Our parents were really happy that we took all the family formals they had expected. Ting Yi sent about 60 sneak peek gorgeous pictures just 3 days after the wedding. My wife and I received the most beautiful wedding couple photos, capturing the best first look and the moment when the groom looked at the bride walking down the aisle (my wife's favorite pictures), and I was tearing up. About 5 weeks later, we received the wedding gallery with nearly 1000 amazing photos. Besides the elegant formals, we also got a lot of candid, fun, and very touching photos that made my wife super happy. She posted over 200 of our wedding photos on her Instagram and called our families and friends to talk about how much she loves the pictures and the memories from our big day. If there was an option to add more stars for giving the review, I'd give Ting Yi Studio 100 stars instead of 5!

Tingyi and her team really helped us make our dream wedding come true! Everything from initial meeting to discuss our vision to executing all of our ideas on the big day went smoothly - Tingyi really listened to us and made things as easy for us as possible. As an organized bride myself, I greatly appreciated the long instructions that Tingyi sent out regarding the outline of the wedding day as well as the requested list of music for our videos. Not only the photos came back to us super fast (we got 90 highlight photos after only 3 days, and the full album after 2 weeks!) the team also produced a beautiful reel for us in a very timely fashion that helped us relive the day constantly. YOU NEED TO HIRE TING YI !!! I’m going to leave an extremely honest review here. Half of what makes a good photographer is having the skillset to capture a moment, which I feel most professional photography teams can do, but the thing that sets Ting Yi apart is her ability to be a director. We found her portfolio online, and loved her editing style, so we set up a FaceTime. In our first call, she worked to understand our personalities and goals for the final product. It was immediately clear to us that we wanted her for our wedding. From then on, she demonstrated great communication which made the whole planning process simple, straight forward, and easy to execute for my wife and I. The moment she arrived on site with her team, they got to work and made us feel safe on our wedding day. Personally, I feel that taking photos can feel awkward under pressure, but Ting Yi completely relieved that pressure and made sure we got the perfect shots. During the bride-groom sessions she always created a comfortable, fun, natural environment. During group photos she made sure to keep everyone in check, which we told her was important for us considering we have a big family with certain people that don’t play nice. For the videos, we loved the 1min trailer, 5min highlight, and documentary video. They brought a drone which got super cool shots, they had us mic’d up for important moments, and edited the final products to tell a beautiful story that lets us remember some of our favorite moments forever. If I ever have friends/family that get married in the area I would always recommend Ting Yi for the job. Book Ting Yi now and have one less thing to stress about, it’s the right decision, I promise.

We loved working with Ting Yi and her team! They were so fun and helpful, but also very professional, and just really responsive throughout the process. I first reached out to Ting Yi in late 2019, because my husband and I were going to be married in 2020. Obviously, that got delayed with covid, and she was so lovely and flexible with us throughout getting our new date. We wound up with a very chilly day, but the photos look like it was balmy and beautiful. She really captured the moment for us and listened to what we said we wanted. After seeing her amazing work at my older sister’s wedding, I always knew that I would want Ting Yi and her team at DP Studio to photograph my own wedding. After booking our venue, my immediate next step was to make sure Ting Yi was available for our date, and thankfully she was! Ting Yi was super easy to work with, and made the planning process stress free. She offered many great ideas based on her years of experience, and made me and my new husband feel at ease, knowing we were in good hands. This review is LONG overdue but Ting Yi and her team work absolute magic. Like many, I was a pandemic bride who had to move her wedding. Ting Yi was so kind and flexible throughout an otherwise very stressful process and for that my husband and I are forever grateful. Even though she hadn’t shot at our venue before, you would never know it from how she took charge that day and how the photos came out. TingYi and her team are absolutely amazing to work with! My husband and I live out of state and was having our wedding in NY. As hard as it may be to coordinate a full wedding out-of-state, Ting Yi made everything super simple and easy for us. She was an excellent communicator by email (which was exactly what we needed coming from VA). Right off the bat during our initial meeting per FaceTime, TingYi had an awesome personality. She was super excited to get to just know us as a couple and hear our story, besides the business aspect of what does choosing her studio/team for our wedding will look like. On the wedding day, the team was on time and super professional (and more). My husband and I had an awkward engagement shoot done by a different photographer out-of-state that had too many freestyle posing which resulted in not as many nice pictures as I had hoped. We wanted a photography team who will guide us a bit more in posing to guarantee we will have a ton of beautiful pictures afterwards. This team definitely delivered that! My wedding had a pretty big wedding party and extended family and I was super impressed how the photography team got through the extensive list of shots that I had prepared for them initially. During the reception, there was a point where I, as the bride, felt bad since I was looking for the photographers to take more pictures, not realizing that they were on their entitled break. However, TingYi and her team did not complain at all and went right back to work. It was in that moment that I know that this team truly cares about the couple and really wants to capture the best moments on the special wedding day. I know that this team is not only professional in the sense that they are good at their job but they are also so passionate about it as well. I have nothing but amazing things to say about Ting Yi and her team. After meeting with a few photographers, I still wasn't 100% sold on anyone until I had received a few rave reviews from some friends who had gone with Dp Studio. I was definitely intrigued and set up a meeting. After reviewing all of their work and packages I knew her team was the one. We ultimately worked with Ting Yi, Chace and videographer Jan and they were all extremely pleasant, easy to work with and professional. Another really important point to note is how easy they were to communicate and fast to respond with any questions you may have had. After receiving my photos and video I simply cannot express how perfectly they captured my favorite day. Their bright and airy photo style is exactly how I envisioned my photos and there are no words to express how thankful and grateful I am to have worked with a dream photography team!

We had the pleasure of working with Leo and Chase for photo and Jan for video at our wedding in September. They were on time, professional, and a great to work with. They helped move us along to get everything in, while keeping the vibe positive and calm. Leo had my list of shots that I wanted and he kept checking it to make sure we did everything I indicated was important to me. My bridal party and family loved working with them as well. Tingyi and her crew were amazing! We chose them originally because we loved the way they edit their photos and ours turned out just as beautiful what I had seen. They captured every moment of the day, directed us on what to do and how to pose which was great because we needed that direction! We also chose the video package and are SO glad we did. The highlight reel and full footage video captured every moment and turned out so beautiful. They edited the video so well, we did not need to request anything be changed. If we had to go back and make our decision on photographer again, we would choose DP studios every single time. Thank you so much!!!

Ting's photography is absolutely amazing! My husband and I got married at the Ballyowen Golf Club at Crystal Spring Resort this past August and our wedding pictures are so perfect... we cannot wait to see how our video came out but Ting Yi, Jennifer & Tony were more than easy to work with and had a great sense of humor during the entire day. Ting Yi, Chase, Val- all amazing to work with. Chase dealt with the groom’s side and my husband says he was so fun and very flexible. Ting Yi was with the brides side and made the experience fun. She was very good about sticking to time to ensure we got all the shots she needed and we discussed. Val was also great and was clear in what he wanted for his vision to film. He also assisted with making sure the shot looked its best. I got the pictures back and we were thrilled!! We could relive the day through the photos. Ting Yi understands the craft and was able to capture everything with the best lighting and visual possible. We are so happy with our photos. She even was kind enough to help us re-create photos from my grandparent’s wedding and took pictures of our puppy and actually captured him smiling (not an easy task). We highly recommend Ting Yi to anyone looking to have a great photography/videography experience.

Great team to work with! Incorporated our ideas & vision along with their expertise for staging shots we are thrilled with. Were amazing coaches for us also, especially when doing our formal portraits. They provided the teaser photos within days, and our final proofs within a couple weeks from the wedding date. You are making a mistake if you pick any other photographer; Ting and her team are the absolute best out there!!

Ting Yi and her team (Leo!) are an absolute dream to work with. My husband and I worked with Ting Yi for our engagement shoot in Central Park last spring, and Ting Yi made us feel so comfortable and we had such a fun day together. Not only that, but when we got our pictures back we were so pleased and loved her work. From that day, we knew we made a great decision working with her for our wedding. Fast forward one year later, my husband and I had to alter our wedding plans due to the pandemic and we downsized our 200 person wedding to an 8 person elopement ceremony in our backyard. As anyone could imagine, this was stressful to say the least, but Ting Yi was beyond accommodating, helpful, and supportive. She set us up to work with Leo, who we cannot say enough great things about. We were set on having the ceremony outside for safety reasons, but when the weather forecast didn't look very promising, we had to change our ceremony time about 3 times leading up to the day. Leo was so flexible and reassured us that he would be there when we were ready. He arrived right on time and captured beautiful pictures that we will cherish for the rest of our lives! We postponed our "big wedding" for next June, and we are so excited to work with Ting Yi again. We highly recommend dp studios!

Hiring Ting Yi was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding in August 2019. She was extremely patient with all of our questions leading up to the wedding. We had a friend take our engagement photos but Ting put us at ease instantly in the big day. She made us laugh which led to beautiful photos that really captured the feel of our day. Ting Yi and her production crew of photographers and videographers are the consummate professionals. We hired DP Studio for our wedding on Nov. 3rd, 2018 and the photos and videos we got back were just phenomenal! Gorgeous natural light photography, video with some amazing production quality and sound, you get so so much for your money with these folks. Indeed, Ting Yi has a singular talent for capturing the perfect moment, so if you're looking for a photographer brimming with talent and imagination, someone with a passionate eye for detail, not to mention great people skills that puts you at ease, hire her immediately! You won't regret it and you will have so much to look back to in the future.

I was so excited when I hired dp studio. I thought for sure they were going to be my favorite vendor. However, I was left feeling the opposite. After reviewing my wedding photos I was left disappointed. Although there were some good pictures, there was not one photo of my husband and I standing a smiling. They also hardly got any photos of me with my bridal party before the wedding, although there were a million pictures taken of my husband and his groomsmen. It also seemed as though they didn't care about the actual wedding itself. We were late to the ceremony because they insisted on taking pictures outside of the church with the limo even though we told them we didn't want any. Also, I had made it very clear when hiring them that they were to stay in the balcony at the church. As I walked down the aisle, instead of noticing my husband, the first thing I saw the photographers at the front of the aisle. I spent the entire ceremony with a camera right in front of my face, something I did not want. I got a lot of comments from guests how it was very distracting. The whole photo taking process seemed very rushed and unorganized. During photos with my husband, they spent a good amount of time trying to figure out how to use their drone instead of taking pictures of the two of us. My husband and I did not have a first look but they made us reenact it as if we did which I thought was stupid and a waste of time. I was obsessed with my venue and I feel like they chose the cheesiest of spots to take our photos. I feel like they should have researched the venue more. The highlight reel was GORGEOUS! I was absolutely in love with it! The full video left me slightly disappointed. All throughout my wedding video all you see is the photographers running back and forth in front of my husband and I. Choosing a photographer was a big deal for me. The pictures of my day should have been perfect to reflect how amazing the day was. Instead every time I look at the photos I am sad because they hardly reflect how perfect the day was.

TingYi and her team were absolutely wonderful. We got married on September 3rd 2017 and couldn’t have asked for photographers / videographers. They listened to what we wanted and made sure to capture the best moments of our big day. We received the first few pictures very quickly after the wedding and the video only a few weeks after. The team was very professional and knew exactly which poses would be best for pictures. The album also turned out beautiful and we absolutely LOVED our thank you cards. As part of our wedding package, we also had TingYi take our engagement photos and they turned our exactly like we wanted, if not better. Overall, we would 100% recommend DP Studio!

I think we all know the stories of engaged couples meeting with dozens of vendors and going through meeting after meeting pouring over the reviews. We only met with one photographer, and we are extremely happy with the results. I think our first 30-40 minute meeting ended up being well over an hour of us just talking about the wedding, our plans, and getting to know each other. We were able to book TingYi for both our engagement photos and our big day. We decided to go with a videographer as well for the wedding day. For our engagement photos, we decided to do a few shots at St. Patrick’s Cathedral and a bulk of the shooting in Central Park. TingYi really delivered. Our 2 hour engagement session turned into 3+ hours of stunning photos. Instead of directly heading towards the more famous spots, I suggested we go to a more secluded area first. Without knowing the area ahead of time, TingYi was able to find amazing shots for us to take. The pictures were amazing and it looked like we were the only ones in all of Central Park. Next, we moved up Central Park to the more famous areas near the Bethesda Terrace. There were lots of couples getting their photos here at the time, but TingYi led us through the area with good efficiency. Again, we were able to get amazing shots without many other people in our shots. The day of our wedding, TingYi and the videographer Jan showed up promptly and got right to work. We took our getting ready photos and moved on to the venue. The day started off rainy but cleared up prior to our ceremony and we were able to head out and get some great photos and footage to start off the wedding. Throughout the day we were able to get the photos and video we wanted due in large part to TingYi’s and Jan’s efficiency. Of course, they were also on hand to take candid photos and hit all of the group photos we needed. In a day full of highlights, I really must say that having TingYi and Jan there to capture everything might have been one of the best parts of the wedding. I can definitely, wholeheartedly recommend DP Studios and TingYi.

Ting Yi and her crew are the best out there! I wanted something special and magical and Ting Yi definitely delivered. We had her photograph our engagement party and wedding as well and I would never hire anyone else. She's creative and professional. Not a week had gone by and she had already sent us a preview of the beautiful pictures. Love them!

Ting Yi and her team were very professional right from the beginning and were very responsive. We are so very grateful for all of the amazing photos they captured and we will cherish them forever. We got teaser photos back a few days after the wedding which was a nice surprise and then all of them back within a month. Ting Yi was also kind enough to capture our rehearsal dinner which was an added bonus! The day for the wedding can get super busy and hectic and it's really important you find a photographer who will not add to the stress but instead be a calming presence and make you feel relaxed and joyous.

They are seriously the best ! Very easy to work with , response time is extremely quick and the photos are ABSOLUTELY beautiful !!!! They take the time to edit the photos either how you want them (your vision) or how they normally work their magic . Truly out of a magazine and endless compliments on each one !! When booking a wedding it is stressful but if you leave the photos up to them .....one less stress !

Dp Studio was by far the best choice we made for our wedding! They were so professional and made our day so flawless. I did not have to worry about what pose we were doing next or if everyone was there! They made sure all the pictures were amazing and everyone was where they needed to be! They all made us feel stress free and just let us have fun with the pictures while they worked their magic! The video also came out flawless! They are worth every penny, you will not be disappointed!

My friend referred me to Ting Yi and her team and we hired them for photography and video for our New Year's Eve wedding. From our first phone call, she had excellent ideas - such as taking photos in the train station here in Hoboken, or going into the room early and practicing our first dance just me and my husband. That ended up being one of my favorite moments of the day, and some of the best photos. We had a large, loud group and her team was able to keep us focused and people are still raving about the photos and she returned the photos to us incredibly FAST. We received the album five weeks later and it's gorgeous, you get a few rounds of reviews so it's just how you want (even though they were minimal) I recommend her to everyone - total professional, and lovely person to be around.

Ting Yi and her team were absolutely exceptional to work with on our wedding day in September. The process leading up to our day was seamless and organized, and they were very responsive answering any questions we had. Ting Yi and dp studio helped to make our wedding day special! We absolutely love our photographs, highlight reel, and full film. We chose dp studio because of the natural and candid feel of their photographs which helped to put the focus on the important moments of the day and we couldn't be happier with how it all turned out. Our photographers and videographers were so much fun to work with on the day of the wedding, making us laugh and feel relaxed. The entire team has been very responsive to our questions and requests throughout the entire process. They also got our products to us in a very timely manner! We were so happy with Ting Yi and her team. They were patient and professional throughout the entire process. We got the package that included engagement pictures, photography for the wedding day, as well as the videography package. We couldn't be more happy! I love being able to go through the pictures and watch the video and relive the day whenever I want. The process of scheduling dp studio was seamless, straightforward, and stress-free. Their team was professional and very responsive with all our requests. During the wedding, they were very discreet and we did not notice that they were there. Formal photos were setup and executed very quickly, allowing us to enjoy our special day. We are so beyond pleased with our wedding videos! The team did such a great job of not only capturing the day but really honing in on all the special moments! Not only were they professional and so kind but they were so quick in providing us with our videography after the wedding! We loved having Ting Yi and her crew on our wedding day! They did an amazing job with both the photography and the video and captured a truly wonderful day. dp Studio offered a package for both photo and video and were accommodating in tailoring the package to meet our needs. Prior to our wedding day, they were fairly responsive in answering our questions and we would usually get an answer within a day or two. On the day of the wedding, they were extremely prepared. We did not do much research in the types of photos we wanted to take and they came armed with several different ideas for us to try. We are not natural “photo” people and typically do not love having our pictures taken, but Ting Yi and her crew made us feel very comfortable. We had one last song after the official “last song” of the wedding and even though they were technically off the clock, they still continued filming and captured some of the best moments of the night. They used excellent equipment, including a drone camera, which resulted in some beautifully framed and cinematic shots. After the wedding, they got our photos back to us approximately a month later, which is great turnaround time. The highlight video and full wedding video took a bit longer, but we really are pleased with the final product. For the video, we wanted to include some additional shots and they continued to revise the video until we were completely satisfied. Photo and video were a top priority for us in wedding planning and we have no regrets at all about booking dp Studio. Ting Yi and her crew are so talented and we highly recommend them. They will do an excellent job of preserving the memories of your wedding!

We had a very pleasant experience with dp studio. We especially loved our main photographer, Chi. He was professional, organized, hard-working, friendly, and fun- we loved working with him! Both photographers responded promptly to emails and were available by phone, and were on time the day of the wedding. Definitely recommend dp studio!

The in depth forms that we needed to fill out prior to the wedding really helped plan out the day of the wedding and set up hair and makeup. The day of my wedding was rainy and cold yet the video and pictures display love and warmth. Their attention to detail from the makeup to the first look and reception where all there. Having peace of mind that day that they would capture every moment really helped ease my stress. The level of professionalism was amazing and their flexibility with all the editing of the wedding album/ video really showed. Their unique picture angles and suggestions really paid off with our formal photos. That day I felt like a movie star and loved every minute of it. There willingness to to bring not only their camera but their videographer to the after party at a local restaurant really stands out for me as going above and beyond.
