sorry that you were disappointed with the photos and video. Hearing all of this was very surprising, because we had not received any of your concerns about the photos or experience until we saw your review. We do our best to capture the touching, moving, laughter-filled, goofy, serious, and overall authentically emotional moments throughout the day so that they can tell the story of the wedding. We feel there may be some misunderstandings that we hope to clear up, as it is incredibly important for us to catch the crucial parts of the special day in every wedding we provide our services for. As you can see in the linked album, there are photos of you and J.P. alone together smiling as a gorgeous couple. We do care about and do our best at each and every wedding, and pay extra attention to capture facial expressions so that people can see just the genuine emotions there are on such a big day. This is why we also took pictures from the front, because we wanted to catch moments like your mother reacting and seeing your father walking you down the aisle. By doing this we could fully capture the moments, expressions and personalities of all the loved ones that were present there. The concept of capturing emotional, storytelling moments also applies to your concern about the bridal party. There are group photos of you and your bridesmaids in your robes along with candid shots. During the shoot we felt it was meaningful to focus on you, your mom, and your sister being in the room that you grew up in, and also your interactions with your family overall. We did pay attention to taking pictures of you and your bridesmaids as well, including when your father saw you walking down the stairs. In the emotionally raw and tear-filled moment with your parents, you can see in the photo that your bridesmaids are in the backgrounds watching and also tearing up. While J.P. might have had more staged and posed pictures with his groomsmen, yours was mostly candid because of the joyous, wondrous, touching feelings that were involved with your shoot. In regards to your full wedding documentary, what we included was all usable footage, and all clients are free to request that certain parts be cut out. We hope you understand that because we are taking both photos and videos during the ceremony, there naturally will be bits where we are seen, because we are taking your photos. The only edit you asked for in the video was for there to be a fade into the song "Don't Stop the Feeling" by Justin Timberlake at 1:00:44. This was done and the video was actually updated into the same link in December, which we deeply apologize for neglecting to notify you about. For the bit about about the first look, we do this so that there is more material to work with, and for some couples it ends up being splendid while others have great moments during other parts of the wedding day. A big part about videography is trying to get content so we can work out the vision and overall image during editing! We are elated to know that you are in love with our highlight reel! That being said, we are deeply saddened to hear that you feel the photos hardly reflect how perfect the day was. Throughout the day, you were absolutely beaming and were an incredibly stunning bride, which we can still feel as we look over your album. We sincerely put all of our efforts into compiling all the emotions, from the tenderness to the excitement, the goofiness of the horse head mask on the dance floor to the seriousness of exchanging vows, everything that we regularly do as professionals having done hundreds of weddings in the past to highlights that we noticed and captured all in the moment. We feel that your album and video do tell an amazingly beautiful and touching story, because that is truly what your wedding was like.
