Dr. Beat Productions was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. We first met with Mike remotely to talk about our overall plans and vision, and later had a call with Sal to go over our music and lighting picks and ensure he was totally prepared for our wedding. My now husband and I have some strange tastes, but Sal found all of our weird little pirate songs and downloaded our entire playlist to make sure there wouldn't be any potential internet connection issues during our wedding. Sal and Rick were an excellent DJ-MC duo on the day! All of our music cues were hit perfectly, which helped make our whole wedding match the vision we had exactly. I admit I was a little nervous about the ceremony cues just because we used several songs throughout, including anime covers and Celtic instrumentals, but each cue was hit, each song was correct, and our ceremony had the exact vibe and emotional effect we were envisioning.
Throughout the night, Sal and Rick played an excellent mix of the music we asked for and party music to get people moving. People were up and dancing all over the room all night long; they really kept the party going!
The lighting we requested was the right color to match our theme, and the uplights added a beautiful ambiance to the whole room.
The photo booth was a huge hit the entire night! I never once saw it empty, and there was even a line for it a few times. The two attendants at the booth were friendly, fun, and made sure everyone in the booth was having a blast. Their energy was up the entire night! Even with how many people were in the booth all night, they never seemed tired or bored or ready to go. The provided props were a lot of fun, and they were cool with us bringing in extra props as well! The photo book with all the photo strips from the night is such a wonderful keepsake. It was so exciting going through it and seeing how much fun everyone was having!
All of our guests complimented the music and the photo booth, and they're still talking about it a couple weeks later! I would highly recommend Dr. Beat for any event, and we would absolutely use them again for a future event!

Our wedding day was a total blur, but one of the things I remember most was dancing.... Our DJ Brian killed it and our MC Brian was a total joy from start to finish. We have very difficult and diverse family and they made everyone happy. Even our family that came from Ireland was on the floor all night. We also used their photo booth service, which was a huge hit with my family. I can't say enough great things about Doctor Beat, we highly recommend them to anyone searching for a wedding DJ.

The team from dr beats did my sister’s wedding earlier this year and I knew that I had to hire them for my wedding. They definitely did not disappoint. Everything was perfect, especially that my sister and I have totally different music tastes. Our guest had so much fun the entire night, we even went an extra hour. I couldn’t imagine that a dj could make such a difference, but now I know. We thank you so much for everything and we’ll definitely be using you again for all of our future celebrations.

Mike was our DJ and Brian was our MC. They did an awesome job making sure our wedding was a blast. Brian was able to adjust in each moment and kept our party going. We felt so comfortable talking with him in our pre-event meetings and can’t thank both of them enough for creating such a special atmosphere for us. We also used their photo booth service, and our guests enjoyed taking pics that we were able to cherish forever. We highly recommend using Dr. Beat Products for your wedding!

Dr. Beat Productions was professional and easy to work with at every step of the process. Prior to our wedding, they took the time to meet with us and learn about our music preferences, including songs that we could not live without. They even worked on a custom remix for the mother son dance! Our emcee Brian then called us to walk through everything and explain the entire day from start to finish, listening to everything we had put on our form and providing recommendations as well. The day of the wedding, they got set up without a hitch and were ready to start the music the second guests were invited into the reception hall. Brian and Craig did an excellent job with the music and all of the announcements; they made sure everything remained on schedule and that everyone was having a good time. We also got the photo booth through them, which was incredibly entertaining and easy to use. They made sure every guest got a copy of the photos as they were taken, and filled out an album for guests to write in that was given to us after the wedding. Brian checked in on us throughout the night and was able to make adjustments to the music on the fly, though we did not request many adjustments because Craig did an awesome job with the music. The dance floor remained crowded basically the entire evening, and afterward we heard nothing but great things to say about the music. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a smoother process, and the music matched exactly what we were looking for. We would definitely recommend Brian, Craig and Dr. Beats for anyone looking for a stress free, dance heavy wedding!

We hired Mike from Dr. Beat Productions to do our wedding and couldn't have been happier with the decision. After meeting with Mike we knew the most important thing to him was making sure that he understood our vision for the day. He listened and gave amazing ideas of what has worked in the past.
This guy simply is as professional and genuine as they come. From the moment our guests arrived for our ceremony, until the final dance everything was perfect. And as for the party...Dr Beat absolutely knows how to get a dance floor rocking. The dance floor was packed from the first song until the last. We loved them. They did exactly what we asked of them which we appreciated. Not every DJ will listen and they end up doing their own thing. We didn’t want a DJ that was too obnoxious so he was perfect. We talked about 2 weeks prior and felt good, went over everything and they have forms you fill out. One comment we got from different guests was they liked the music and played stuff for everyone…a nice variety! They also accommodated our after party and had a separate, smaller set up all ready to go prior to our guests making their way over after the reception.

Michael and his team went above and beyond to accommodate every request we had for my mom’s surprise 60th disco themed party in the short 3 week time span we had to plan and execute the party. He curated music for the happy hour to create an amazing vibe and effortlessly switched into party mode, using not only the playlist we provided but used it to understand my mothers musical taste to blend his own choices of music that everyone loved. The transitions were phenomenal, the song selections were on point, the energy he brought throughout the night kept everyone dancing for virtually the entirety of the 5 hr party. So much so that no one wanted the party to end. On top of that, Michael’s Photo Booth partner made the photo booth experience unique for every photo, encouraged everyone to take a plethora of pictures to capture the memories of the evening, and worked seamlessly together with Michael to make the experience an 11 out of 10 for everyone. Highly, highly recommend Michael and his team for any event and will definitely be using them for any future events I have !

We had Brian and Craig from Dr Beat at our wedding this past October. I’m an OCD planner of every detail and these guys passed my test! From pre- communication Michael was super responsive, leading up to the actual day. We discussed every detail before. We were very specific in our requests and our wedding guests love to dance and I stressed that we wanted the good vibes and music pumping throughout the night, and Michael delivered. Overall, we enjoyed our DJ experience! The music was fun and engaging! Unfortunately, couples were not invited to join the father daughter dance as we requested and the final song that we requested was also not played. These points were a bit of a disappointment. Otherwise, the DJ was super friendly and professional and was able to pívot to deal with changing weather. I would recommend using this company would also suggest following up on all aspects of the preference sheet the day before the wedding.

This team was absolutely amazing. We had an amazing time at our wedding. The guests LOVED the music and we never had an empty dance floor. The MC was fun and very personable.
The planning was easy. We had a call a couple weeks before the event to go over the details. I emailed/texted with any changes and they were so quick to respond. We also had a photo booth which was a hit. All of the pictures were sent to us after. It was a great addition

My husband and I had an exceptional experience with the DJ and MC team provided by Dr. Beat Production for our beach wedding. They exhibited exceptional professionalism, were friendly and delivered an outstanding performance. Accommodating our beach event, they put in the extra effort to provide the music that enhanced the serene ambiance of our wedding. When we were planning our wedding we made talked to our DJ about what type of setting we were looking for. Mike was completely professional and helpful in all aspects of the planning. He guided us with great ideas and at times eased some of the decision making as we felt overwhelmed with all the other details in planning our party. DJ played all the songs we really enjoyed and most importantly accommodated us with last minute unforeseen changes. Overall, we were very pleased with the outcome and are planning to use him again for a sweet sixteen in the near future

I wish I could give more stars. They were so informative, helpful, entertaining, and professional. The music was always perfect and my guests hardly left the dance floor. We had them during the ceremony and cocktail hour as well and they absolutely nailed all the perfect songs. The MC was great and kept everyone on their feet. We planned our wedding remotely from Pennsylvania and the team from Dr. Beat Productions was amazing! Every detail of our wedding day was planned to perfection and they made good on every promise that they made. We really put a lot of faith and trust in them and they delivered. They exceeded my expectations! They kept the night flowing and communicated constantly with me during the wedding. I loved their wedding outline, this helped me keep organized with the rest of the flow of my wedding. They kept the music to my request and kept everyone dancing. I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone on long island looking for a DJ/MC for their events. I also had the photo booth, all I can say is do it, spend the extra for it! Mike and his crew were amazing! They we super easy to work with and accessible. We had to move our wedding due to COVID and had no issues. We also had a Photo Booth and the attendant there was on point and made it a ton of fun. I would highly recommend Dr.Beat Prod for any wedding or event!

We just had our wedding at de Seversky. Michael is great to work with and is very accommodating! Everyone had a great time at our wedding and dancing literally went on all night!! I kept on dancing all night even after all-day high heels (ladies I'm sure you know what that means!). We also had a broadcasting system at our reception that requires two-way communication. Michael helped a great deal to make sure it went on smoothly. I highly recommend them!

Michael was great the day of our wedding! He was very professional and had everything set up early. Michael and the MC had us partying all night, he listened to our song picks and went with the vibe of our choices. They also were on schedule with everything and hyped up our guests. There were hardly any moments that the dance floor wasn't packed. I would recommend Dr. Beat Productions!

We had Dr. Beat Productions at our 11/13/21 wedding and they were absolutely amazing! They listened to the music choices we requested and completely understood the vibe that we were going for and had people on the dance floor ALL night!! They definitely kept the party alive and had an emcee on the dance floor hyping everyone up the entire time! Absolutely would 1000% recommend them!

Micheal and Sal are the best! Michael was our DJ for an intimate 40-person wedding and he killed it. He's a pro and knew exactly how to keep the dance floor fun and alive.
Dr. Beat Productions was one of the best wedding vendors we worked with. They made things easier for us, really listened, remained flexible and responded to the audience to build on the fun. Also important to note: due to COVID, we postponed our wedding twice over the course of a year and a half. Michael and Sal were extremely flexible and understanding throughout the process. We love them!

“Time goes fast when you’re having so much fun!” Indeed, we had a blast on our reception day! Despite our wedding getting postponed and our reception held on a different day 2 months after our church ceremony due to covid.. we were finally able to celebrate and and literally danced the night away! We contacted Dr.Beat Productions after a friend recommended us to them. After our first Zoom meeting with Michael, we knew we had to hire them. A Co-Worker recommended using Dr. beat Productions for our wedding, and I am so glad we did! From our first meeting I knew I was in good hands when meeting with Sal. We hired them for our wedding and they did an excellent job! I was pretty specific with the types of music I wanted to be played, and gave a long list of preferred songs- but they didn’t mind at all. Everyone was dancing all night and the MC did a great job at keeping everyone excited. Affordable and reliable!

The photobooth provided was even more fun for our guests. My Husband, Vin, and I are beyond happy with how the night turned out. And we had many guests tell us how amazing our DJ was. DBP were so great at our wedding! Mike and Gene did such an amazing job and kept the fun going! They totally took into account all of our requests and kept people dancing and having fun. They transitioned between songs and between events (cake cutting, speeches, dances, etc) so well. The playlist was exactly what I wanted and I didn't want to stop dancing at all! So many times they would play a song that I was thinking of requesting but didn't so they were really in tune with the vibe and it felt like they were reading my mind! Would highly recommend for any event.

Sal was great to work with! He listened to what kinds of music we like - everything from oldies to contemporary and made sure our DJ played all our favorites in every genre. He also made sure our DJ was able to mix two songs that meant a lot to us into one cohesive song. He also made sure our DJ was conscientious about the volume of the music, as one of our guest is noise sensitive. There was some hiccups with the first song and mother-son dance, but the DJ and MC were very professional and our guests had a great time and didn't even notice!

Our DJ was absolutely outstanding!!! Our wedding was wonderful, everyone had such a great time, and I truly believe it was because of Mike and Gene. I was the ultimate last minute bride and these guys worked with me every step of the way to make sure I was non stressed about our music. The assured me that they knew what they were doing and that i would be so happy the day of the wedding.....and they delivered! Sal and Mike were easy to work with and just by looking at our Spotify Playlists were able to keep the party going all night. they knew how to feel the crowd and knew what would keep everyone having fun and on the dance floor!

My husband and I used Dr. Beat Productions for our wedding this past Saturday and loved them! Even before the wedding, they responded to emails timely, worked around our schedule for meetings and gave us a very thorough checklist to go through detailing what we did and did not want at our wedding. The day of, they were there on time, the emcee came out to greet me prior to the reception to walk me through everything and came up to me during the event to check that all was going good. The dance floor was pumping throughout the event, my husband and I, two non dancers, were even on the floor more than we expected and everyone had a great time. I would've given 5 stars except that there were 2 small miscues with the music but no one noticed except us. Dr. Beat productions did a wonderful job at our wedding and I would highly recommend them to everyone!

Dr. Beat was amazing, my husband and I could not be more happy with their services! The planning process was beyond easy and really organized. I especially loved the online portal which allowed us to upload all of our paperwork. Mike was our DJ for our wedding and he was so much fun! He played all of our requested songs and really read the vibe of the crowd and played songs accordingly. If we didn’t have to be out of there, we would’ve danced all night! We cannot recommend Dr Beat enough! Sal was always very quick to reply by email or phone. He was incredibly professional and generous with is time. They helped us create a proper timeline and provided wonderful song suggestions when we were having difficulty choosing some our music. Our wedding day was spectacular and the dance floor was always full! Our MC Gene definitely understood the flow of the day, how to read a crowd and create atmosphere. Dr. Beat did an amazing job at our wedding. Mike was great to work with and went over every detail with us to make sure we had exactly what we wanted. The music selection was perfect and our MC was great, getting everyone out of their seats! We also had a percussionist which added an extra element that we loved. We received many compliments from our guests on how much they enjoyed the music and particularly that they were still able to hear and have a conversation while the music was playing, which had been a concern of ours. When planning our wedding we wanted to work with vendors who were LGBT friendly and had done previous work within the community. We met with Michael from Dr. Beat productions early in the process and fell in love with his overall ability to understand our needs and his super outgoing personality. Michael and Rick our MC definitely picked up on exactly the right music we and our guests would enjoy. I think they played every song on our request list and then some! Our guests were dancing all night long. They were never loud or obtrusive and they were very patient with our numerous last minute changes. We can't say enough great things, you won't be disappointed.

We used Mike and Gene for our wedding on 10/8/17 and they were great! Our wedding was in Montauk and these guys were out and ready to go on time! They played a great playllist the whole wedding which kept everyone dancing! We wanted a DJ for our wedding but without the group/line dancing, shouting into the Mic, etc.. and these guys did exactly what we wanted! They played all our requests and all their added music was perfectly in line with what we and the crowd wanted! Everyone commented that the music was awesome! I first spoke will Sal to set everything up, and let me start by saying, he made it so easy to see the different options we had and worked with us to ensure we had the coverage we needed. As we got closer to our date, we spoke with Michael, and my god did he put me at ease right away. His professionalism and demeanor were everything I could have asked for and more. I knew that He (Michael) and Jean (the Emcee) were going to have everything handled and under control. From helping us ensure our cut music from our dance instructor was ready, to working with us on the timeline, they were great!
Because of the rain on our wedding day, we had to wait to do most of our family pictures until during the reception. Both Michael and Jean made sure to have all the announcements out to our guests when it was needed. They ensured that the day continued to run smoothly and were a blast throughout, getting our guests very engaged. While my husband and I stepped out to take a few more pictures, all I could hear from where we were standing away from it all, was the laughter and excitement our guests were having. They really made the day all that it was and again, ensured that not only our guests had a good time but that my husband and I were able to as well.

We first heard of Dr. Beat Productions after attending a friend's wedding, the entertainment was great! We were planning our wedding at that time and got the information from the bride & groom. From the first time we met with Sal we were thrilled to sign a contract. He was honest, gave you all of his time without rushing, and answered all questions and concerns. We did not even shop around because the prices were reasonable and we knew we were getting quality after seeing them at a wedding already. Communication with Sal was always open be it via e-mail, phone call, and even text message. We were lucky enough to have Mike assigned our DJ and Gene as our MC. We did not meet with Mike or Gene prior to our wedding however the information packet Sal had us fill out and return to him is VERY thorough. I personally sat with Sal and reviewed the form with him (about a month prior to the wedding) and all questions were addressed (absolutely no concerns). I spoke with Mike prior to the wedding once to ensure there would be a good mix of Latin music and American music. Mike was super receptive and pretty much told me he had everything under control.
Fast forward to our wedding day. Mike and Gene were prompt and professional with all other vendors, with my guests, and with us. Gene approached us throughout the night to ensure we were having a good time and to ask us any questions he may have had. There were a few announcements I had forgotten to include on my original form and Gene added them in without any trouble during the reception. All of our guests were on the dance floor all night and even my 90 year old grandfather was up on his feet for at least one dance! To say we were happy with Dr. Beat Productions as our entertainment vendor is an understatement. We would go back and do it all over again the same way and would eagerly recommend them to any friends/family looking for entertainment at an event.

Dr. Beat Productions was amazing! Sal was very helpful in following up with us in regards to the questionnaire, as well as answering any questions we had. Our MC Benny, was great! He kept our guests entertained. It was important for us to have a bilingual MC, and Benny did a great job both in English and Spanish. We loved how there was a twist to the centerpiece giveaway game, as it had our guests dancing on their chairs (literally)! Mike, our DJ, was fantastic! He played every song that we requested and had our guests dancing all night. We all had an amazing time and thank Dr. Beat Productions for doing a wonderful job!

From Start to Finish, Sal Grosso was a pleasure to work with when planning our wedding. He met with me numerous times to discuss everything from the music to the lighting that we wanted. He was super responsive and very flexible. I’ve had many guests tell me how much they enjoyed our DJ and the music choices. We used Dr Beat Productions for our wedding and could not have been happier with our Choice. Mike and Gene were our DJ and MC, they were excellent and had everyone dancing the entire night. Leading up to our day Sal was very thorough and responded very quickly to all of our calls and emails. He wanted to make sure that everything on his end was exactly as we requested. We also realized closer to our wedding that we wanted to add a photo booth, so we added this service through Dr. Beat. I also appreciated that Sal offered us a discount for booking both services and threw in our ceremony music that we realized we needed until very late in the game. Towards the end of wedding planning, every penny counts and so these small gestures go a very long way. Thank you Sal, Mike and Gene!!

Dr. Beat Productions was absolutely amazing, I could not say enough great things about their DJ services. Sal and his staff made the entire pre-wedding process incredibly smooth. Sal was always easy to communicate with and was on top of all of the details. Our MC Gene helped to get everyone organized for the introductions for the reception, He really made it so that I didn't even have to think about it, I could just enjoy the day. Our DJ Mike played our music selections in a perfect order and really read the crowd for what should come next. Sal recommended utilizing their photo booth services as well and it was so much fun!! They had so many props and also used an amazing idea of having the guests create a scrapbook for us with the photo booth pictures that they took. Now we have a beautiful scrapbook of our guests having the best time at our wedding.
I highly recommend using Dr. Beat Productions, I cannot write/say enough positive things about them.

Very disappointed in the way we were treated with Dr Beats. Originally they seemed like such a great vendor. Unfortunately , which this one there is no room for change! We had gave Sal our list of music. I felt pressured submitting this to him with such little notice. I had made some changes to songs etc . I wanted to do a special birthday for 3 of my guests. I had a wedding planner go over all of this with him the week before and the day of. I even made a entire timeline of music down to the second of the songs I wanted to hear !! Fast forward to day of wedding: The wrong bridal parents song was played, the wrong bridal party entrance song was played. The dj was good but did not play the list I gave Sal. We paid extra for zapshots his logo was on the screens majority of the time. At one point they actually played a lmfao music video on the screens. It was strange. We had complained about this and then they started putting more pics up of our guests instead of trying to promote their company The MC called out the bday guests with 2 of them not in the room which is not what I asked for. The dj was extremely rude to my guests telling him that he was busy and could not accept requests. Sal and my husband got into a screaming altercation and he through our photo montage at him and said here I am done with you. I can not make you people happy and stormed out of our reception room. It was awful! We later went to pic of our cd of zap shots at Sal's office. He did apologize but in the same sense was blaming us and my guests for all the mistakes that were happening and THEN questioned us and said "Well if you were so unhappy why did you tip the DJ and the MC. Because it is customary !! We felt like we were defending our selves to him. He questioned me and said well I went up to you and you said everything was ok. Well because that was the last thing I wanted to deal with on my wedding night .It was not a memorable experience !
It was an easy choice when it came to the music for my wedding day. After meeting Sal and Mike at a bridal show, we immediately knew who we were going to book. I am a nervous wreck when it comes to details and Sal was with me every step of the way. I can't thank him and his staff enough for all that they did and my sister will be using them in 2018 for her wedding!!
