Dr. Dan Lamey

Dr. Dan is an absolute gem of a human being. He is so kind, patient and supportive during the entire process. He met with us several times to discuss the ceremony. We were not sure exactly what we wanted so he talked us through many options and helped us customize it to fit us! During wedding week he even met with us in person. He walks you through the process of getting a marriage license and ensures the certificate gets to you if you live out of town! Our ceremony was perfect. We could not have wished for a better officiant!

Dr Dan will truly make your wedding ceremony. He took the time to get to know my husband and I prior to our wedding, our guests thought he was a close family friend. He listens and makes your ceremony personal to what you want. He knew religion was important for us to have incorporated in our day and wore his robes and adding subtle touches throughout the ceremony. He is so organized and ensures you know what to expect day of. He met with us to get the marriage license prior to the ceremony so it was one less thing we had to worry about day of. Thank you Dr Lamey for getting to know my husband and I as a couple and truly making the ceremony one of a kind. Dr Lamey was so helpful with the organization of the ceremony and helping us lay out the order based on what we liked and wanted to incorporate. He was very flexible when it came to Covid and the rescheduling of the wedding which is a stressful for both the bride and vendors. He brings his experience from all his weddings to help with fine details and preparations of the ring, vows, and making sure bridesmaids know when to fix their hair! Dr. Dan was the officiant for our wedding in Sanibel, Florida. He is kind, professional, and does a wonderful ceremony (our guests are still talking about he great he was). He even provided guidance throughout the process of obtaining our marriage license and answered all of our questions super promptly. He’s a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend him!

Pastor Dan is truly an incredible person! We were recommended to use him by our venue, as we had a destination wedding. By the end of the process we felt like we had known him for forever. Dr. Dan is hands down the best officiant for any wedding. Throughout the whole planning process and Facetime calls, he made us feel comfortable and at ease with how the ceremony would go. It was honestly like talking to a family member. The day of the wedding came and he was an absolute hit with our guests. The highlight (which I was not able to witness) was him graciously asking a group of people watching the sunset at our private beach ceremony, to turn and face the bride and remain silent guests, which they were happy to oblige. He included everything we asked for in our ceremony, vows and readings and did it all with humor, grace and personality. He was also a hit at the cocktail hour, talking with our guests. Many of them have told us how fun he was and how they enjoyed speaking with him. I highly recommend him to any bride. Ladies, this man has 6 daughters, so he knows how to deal with us! Don't look any further for an officiant in the Naples area!

Dr. Dan is exactly who you will want beside you and your partner as you say your vows on your wedding day. We are from out of state and were recommended by another one of our vendors to contact Dr. Dan to officiate our wedding. Prior to meeting in person, Dr. Dan took the time to get to know us over multiple phone and FaceTime calls and drove out of his way to meet us when we were in the area during the months and weeks leading up to our wedding. He genuinely cares about his couples and wants you to have the most memorable wedding day experience. He is kind, thoughtful, compassionate, trustworthy and deliberate with his words. We can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Dan!! We had a small, intimate wedding and our guests raved about Dr. Dan even hours after the ceremony. Dr. Dan is the most incredible officiant! He spoke with us several times before our wedding, helped counsel us, helped us write our vows, and created the most beautiful ceremony. We were told by every single guest that he was the best officiant they have ever seen. He was kind, genuine, funny, and touching all at the same time. Our planner, Brittiny Gibson, recommend Dr. Dan to be our officiant for our wedding. I called Dr. Dan shortly after and by the grace of God his only Friday available in November happened to be our wedding day. Dr. Dan was amazing to work with. We were an out of town couple so Dr. Dan made a point to meet us and our parents a few days before our wedding. Luis and I were married on October 11, 2019 at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point. Our wedding day was like a dream, and more beautiful than we could have ever imagined it to be. Its been two weeks, and our family, friends, and guests are still constantly talking about how perfect our day was and how well it all came together. Dr. Dan was the most amazing officiant for our ceremony, and all of our guests couldn't stop raving about his service. We met with Dr. Dan several times prior to our big day, and he ironed out any details of the day for us in advance so that we had nothing to stress or worry about. He even put many catholic elements into my wedding ceremony as I requested, even thought it wasn't in a church, and wore a robe, and did catholic blessings and readings, which were very special to me. Prior to the ceremony, Dr. Dan visited each of our bridal suites to make sure Luis and I were all ready and feeling ok, and made sure that he met our parents, reader, and maids of honor and best man. He did such a wonderful job, and made our day so memorable. Thank you for the most beautiful wedding day!

Dr. Dan took the time to get to know us prior to our wedding day, which made us feel even more comfortable with who was marrying us! He helped us design our ceremony outline with the elements we were looking for. The ceremony was beautiful and we heard many comments from our guests on how much they enjoyed it as well!

Dan was awesome!! He chatted with us on the phone before the wedding. We got to know him and he got to know us. We shared our ceremony vision with him and he gave ideas to make it better and more personal. Upon arriving in Florida for our destination wedding, Dan gave us instructions how to get our marriage license and where. We also met him for lunch and firmed up all the details for our wedding ceremony. He was at the venue the day of the wedding early and made sure everyone was in place and prepared. He also dressed very professionally and matched our wedding colors! For the actually ceremony, WOW! Dan is well spoken, passionate and made the ceremony one to remember. We had so many guests tell us how amazing Dan was and how much they enjoyed the ceremony because of Dan’s presentation. One guest even said he should be a baseball announcer because he was so good! (Not kidding) After the ceremony Dan took care of our marriage license and made sure we got it on the mail back to our home state in a timely manner. I highly recommended hiring Dan if you’re looking for a officiant!

Dr. Dan Lamey was the one who made our wedding perfect! His kindness and compassion made him the talk of our reception! He truly makes you feel like you’ve known him for a lifetime and makes the ceremony absolutely amazing. If I could hand pick an officiant I would pick him every time. He’s incredible!!

Dr. Dan was our officiant at our destination wedding in Naples Florida on July 14, 2018. He was amazing! We asked him to follow the Greek Orthodox ceremony and traditions, and he took the time to research, study and plan it; and he gave us a beautiful ceremony. All of our guests were very impressed with him! He also met with us a few times in the months leading up to the wedding so we were able to get to know each other and we felt very comfortable with him. He made our wedding exactly what we wanted. Working with Dr. Dan was amazing. Dr. Dan took the time to review our individual needs. He met with us when we were in Naples each time we visited before the wedding and reviewed what we wanted and did not want in our ceremony. He took time to go over everything start to finish. I knew Dr. Dan was going to be our officiant the moment that I first talked to him on the phone! He was so much fun, full of life and made my husband and I feel so comfortable with him. He related to our lives almost immediately. When we finally arrived to Florida and planned to meet with Dr. Dan we had a small crisis and thought we were not going to be able to get our marriage license. Dr. Dan assured me over and over and was incredibly flexible in his day to help us out. When we finally married we had multiple guests tell us how he was the greatest they'd ever heard. Men who never cry, cried at our wedding. I can't recommend Dr. Dan enough!!

Dr. Dan was PHENOMENAL to work with! He was incredibly present throughout all of our planning stages - we met in person and FaceTimed regularly over the course of 6 months leading up to the wedding. He dedicated the time and energy to learn about us as a couple, coaching us and guiding us on the way to the altar (or the beach in this case). We could not have been more comfortable working with him and were so pleased with the personalized attention we received and our ceremony was a pure reflection of that. Our guests asked if we had known Dr. Dan for years!! Would highly recommend anyone to work with such a great man.

Dr. Dan was awesome to work with. He really made us feel comfortable, as we were doing a destination wedding and couldn't really "meet" everyone. We would Facetime each time we needed to talk, so we felt like we really got to know each other. Dr. Dan guided us on how to obtain our marriage license and was happy to answer any questions we had. There are not enough amazing things to say about Dr. Dan Lamey. Dr. Dan required to meet with us a few times before the wedding to get to know us. And we are so happy we did. He learned about who we are and helped us understand each other and what we can do to make each other happy. You can tell that he loves what he does because it shows in his face and in his ceremony speech. Two days before our wedding we met with our venue to go over small details and found that the venue had switched management and our wedding coordinator told us that she would not be present at our rehearsal. Originally we didn't need Dr. Dan to be there but after our meeting with the venue we called and asked Dr. Dan if he could help us out for our rehearsal. Dr. Dan was at the venue before any of us even got to there. He took control of the situation and gave us such a sense of comfort knowing he was there. On the wedding day, Dr. Dan showed up an hour early and talked to people as they showed up getting to know them. During the ceremony he was perfect! We are not religious or a very serious couple and Dr. Dan matched our personalities perfect making people laugh along with the perfect amount of happy tears. We had so many compliments from guests at our wedding how amazing he did! Thank you so much Dr. Dan for making our ceremony so memorable.

Dr. Dan was one of the best decisions we made regarding our wedding. He is truly vested in getting to know you as a person and as a couple and will literally do anything to make your wedding ceremony special. Not only was Dr. Dan willing to meet with us (several times actually), but I really believe that he wants to meet with his couples to make the ceremony more natural and meaningful. We told Dr. Dan that we wanted a fairly traditional, yet quick, wedding ceremony and that is exactly what we got. He was short and sweet, kept the feeling light and included everything exactly how we discussed. So many of our friends and family were impressed with Dr. Dan. He even takes care of mailing back your marriage license! Dr. Dan is an all-around great person and my husband and I are so glad that he was a part of our day.

Dr. Dan is the best officiant I ever met. Even though he only met me a few months before the wedding and met my husband the day of the wedding, the way he married us would make you think we knew each other for years. He used the most beautiful words to describe love and marriage. He loves what he does and that rubs off on everyone around him.

WE LOVE DR DAN! Dr Dan met with for dinner a few times. WE joked, talked about our relationship, and got to know him. I highly recommend Dr Dan to anyone getting married. He was amazing. He developed our vows and ceremony outline just for us; even injection some hockey humor in there! My guests were enamored by him and they all wanted to know how I found him. If you haven't found an officiant yet, You should call Dr Dan!!!!

Dr. Dan made our wedding day memorable. My fiance and I did not want a traditional wedding. We wanted to portray our personalities in the ceremony. Dr. Dan made us smile, laugh and almost cry. The ceremony was fun and romantic. It surpassed our expectations.

Dr. Dan was an excellent officiant! From the moment we first spoke with him, we were instantly drawn to his charismatic personality.
