Dr. DJ Productions

and he helped us work through some last-minute changes. He kept the reception activities flowing and the dance floor was full all night. Our expectations were exceeded and we had a blast! 5/5 stars and would highly recommend.

od at communicating and helping with the timeline of getting things done!

r guests so well, helped move the reception along, and adapted as things changed. He was so friendly, kind, and fun. We are so glad we hired them!

e a simple questionnaire with all of the songs and dances we wanted to have, as well as ones we wanted to avoid, and they followed through on everything perfectly. Our DJ for the reception and dance, Jaren, was very personable and great to work with. Overall we were extremely pleased and would recommend them to others!

th our wedding date changing due to COVID-19. James was the DJ that performed at our wedding. James was extremely polite, professional, and helpful on the day of the wedding. We received several compliments on his performance. Highly recommended.

DJ; he guided the reception events for us, asked permission to play requested songs outside of our preferences and was so easy to work with. We also loved that he danced with our last few guests towards the end of the reception. We will absolutely be recommending to anyone who needs a DJ! Thank you Nick and Jaren for making this aspect of our wedding easy and enjoyable!

p ahead of time and was focused on sticking to our schedule so we didn’t have to worry about a thing! Nick is very professional yet fun and personable! He knew the kind of atmosphere we wanted and accomplished it with no problem! Our guests were very pleased and had many compliments. I would definitely recommend Nick as your DJ!

ntly on the dance floor and we heard such great feedback from everyone!

troduce himself. As we were lining up to be introduced at the reception he quickly read off everyone’s names to make sure he was pronouncing them right. Originally our priest was going to say a prayer before we ate at the reception. Something came up where he couldn’t make it. Nick came up to us and said “I already asked your Dad, he’d rather not say it but it’s ok, I’ve done it before and I can do it.” He did a fantastic job. Later into the night a wedding guest requested a song, Nick came up to me and asked if it was ok. It was perfectly fine with us and we appreciated him asking. Everyone loved the photobooth as well. It would print two copies out, one for the book (that you keep) and the other for the guest to keep. Overall we were extremely pleased we hired Dr. DJ Productions as our wedding DJ and we would highly recommend them to anyone!

hroughout the planning process. I highly recommend that you hire them for your event!

re wasn’t a point that a music change interrupted the flow.

ng process – I relied on good communication and planning by Nick and Jaren. I worked with Nick to plan the timeline and details, and then he turned to Jaren to be the day-of DJ. Jaren was excellent at announcing my bridal party, hosting the event and incorporating the music throughout it all. With every event there are time changes and adjustments, and Jaren was flexible throughout it all – he came up to my husband and I multiple times to ensure we were happy and ask if we needed anything. Both Nick and Jaren’s hard work to ensure my wedding reception went smoothly was appreciated!

up as the reception was going on. Nick and his staff are awesome, and definitely will not disappoint!

dding a great day!!

pectations. Nick was courteous, professional and extremely well prepared. He took the time to know the pronunciations of all the bridesmaids and groomsmen for the reception entrance, and the dance went exactly as we had planned when we met with Nick earlier in the week. He kept us informed on what dances were coming which helped avoid any delays or down time. The evening flowed seamlessly! In addition, the lighting and volume were outstanding! I was worried that the audio level would be too high, but it was clear and played at the right volume that best suit the venue (Sterl Hall in Abilene). Nick, thanks doesn’t seem sufficient for making our daughter’s day extra special, but from the bottom of our family’s hearts, THANK YOU! Troy Palenske Abilene, KS

ted and more! Everybody was very easy to work with. I would recommend them to anybody.

night! Would highly recommend!

th our schedule being slightly off schedule. 10/10 would defiantly use them again and recommend to anyone.

bride and didn't get the track for the mother son dance until like hours before the wedding 😅 James was our DJ and he kept the party going ALL! NIGHT! LONG! it was an Incredible night we will never forget, thanks to y'all!!!

oothly and kept in contact with us throughout the night! They traveled further than their normal area for us, and we appreciated everything! Their photo-booth was a great add on and awesome to look at our photo album from them! We are 100% happy with their services! We even asked them to stay an extra hour cause everyone was having such a great time! Thank you for everything, Dr, DJ Productions!

. He remained flexible when our schedule didn’t go exactly as planned. My husband and I are so glad we chose him to be apart of our day.

rofessional!!

with!!!

ot of time to spare. He was very professional and knew how to relate to our crowd and made it fun for everyone. They bring all their own equipment which saves you a lot of headache. The speakers they used were more than adequate for our venue. We had a few live music performances as well during the course of the night. All of which went great and our DJ had all the equipment we needed for our live performances. We enjoyed our experience all around, and we appreciate the layer of magic they added to our special day.

edding ceremony ended up having to change and we just ended up having the wedding ceremony at the reception venue. They accommodated the change with no problem at all. Sam, the DJ, was there early and got set up. He was right on task with the music for the ceremony and the reception. He helped keep the events of the evening going smoothly. While I was enjoying my dinner, I looked up to see Sam asking people if he could clear their empty plates!! What?? I told my daughter and her husband that he definitely needed a big FAT tip!! At the end of the evening he asked several times if there was anything he could help with. I have been to several weddings and don’t know that I have ever seen a DJ so involved and go above and beyond their “duties.” I would recommend this DJ company 1000 times over! Great selection of music and great service!!!

those of you who scour every review, here you go: From the beginning, Nick Morgan (owner of Dr. DJ Productions, LLC) provided us with a detailed outline (with examples) of a typical reception, which helped fill in any gaps we were unsure of. Nick always responded promptly, & the pricing was WELL below other services. We had checked with previous customers, all of which gave rave reviews, so we booked them! A few months out we had an issue with the ceremony venue & decided to move the ceremony to the reception venue. We worried that Dr. DJ Productions, LLC would not be able to accommodate the change, but this was not an issue at all. On our big day Sam, the DJ for the event, arrived plenty early, set up his equipment, & coordinated with all the “key players”. Everything was flawless through the ceremony including our exit. At this point the wedding party left for pictures. Instead of simply sitting back preparing for his role in the reception, Sam assisted with moving chairs & other various small tasks in anticipation of our return. After our return & introducing the wedding party, we began to eat. Most, if not all weddings we have been to, the DJ sits back & does his own thing providing ambient music during the dinner. Not Sam. It wasn’t until about halfway through eating that we noticed Sam had scarfed down his food & was CLEARING PLATES FOR OUR GUESTS. Let me say this again our DJ was not just proficiently providing ambient music, making sure we stay on track for the reception but also clearing tables for our guests. I could throw 20 other little things in that Sam did that was above and beyond “his job” but the problem is he did them so effortlessly & humbly that we probably didn’t catch even half of them. I sincerely believe that Sam went above & beyond to ensure our day was the best day possible. The rest of the evening, Sam kept us on schedule & when we got off schedule, he gently advised of how to get back on schedule. This may not seem like much, but we only had the photographer for so long & some of our most important guests were older, so we wanted to make sure everyone got to experience all the important events. Sam was professional while being fun & also rolled with the punches when we did unplanned things. At the end of the evening, Sam made sure we didn’t need anything no less than 3 times before leaving. We spoke to Nick a few days later as a follow up and to pay the balance due (we were well within our budget for the wedding however had we not been this is a well appreciated courtesy as we could have used gift money instead of out of pocket money). When speaking to Nick, we advised him on how great Sam was. The owner was happy to hear this, but not surprised. This was not a one-off occurrence. In summery let me say this, if you’re looking for an adequate, good or even great DJ service look elsewhere, but if you’re looking for an EXTRAORDINARY DJ service then give Dr. DJ Productions, LLC a call.

commend!

Dr. DJ and his staff were professional and fun to work with!

o when I walked into reception. The events for that night went very smooth. The DJ kept the night going, but was slow enough to allow us time to enjoy each event. Great DJ service!
