y husband and I are big picture takers…she made it easy and comfortable. She also asked if there was anything we specifically wanted captured. I said a picture with our four dogs and she made it happen! She also asked if there were any family things that would lead to people wanting to not be pictures together so we could avoid any awkward moments! I did really appreciate that! The pictures also came out beautifully!! I would hire her again for other events because she is truly incredible!

I have always loved her work so I knew the pictures would be amazing but they still blow me away every time I look at them. Your day goes by so fast and you don't get to see alot. ow to manage a wedding photo shoot with the utmost professionalism and sensitivity required for an event that can be chaotic and stressful like a wedding. They take the stress and chaos out of the photo experience which for those of you with big families I'm sure can appreciate. Dragonfly really goes above and beyond! She even gave my dog water from her own water bottle on a really hot day which was unbelievably thoughtful! I got married this past fall in an open meadow on a really hot day. It may have been the hottest day of the summer. I have a great memory burn of seeing Rachel during the ceremony walking through 3 foot tall grass to get the perfect shot of our ceremony and thinking "that is awesome!" Thank you Rachael and everyone at dragonfly for a great experience!!

time, I knew I was going to love her. She is so bubbly and personable and really takes time to listen to what you are looking for in a photographer. We decided to do our engagement shoot in Newburyport. Rachael drove my husband and I all over town from little alley ways in down town to the beach on Plum island. The pictures were amazing! We got and still get so many compliments on them. Throughout the whole wedding process, she was so easy to work with. She asked us exactly what we were looking for in our wedding photos and she gave us just that and more! The pictures are gorgeous and we could not be happier with how they turned out. I would and have recommended Dragonfly to anyone who is looking for an amazing photographer to capture their wedding day.

easy to talk to and very knowledgeable (which is something we weren't and needed help with). She made the process a breeze. We had been in contact several times prior to the wedding to iron out the details. Being that I planned my wedding in about a month, it was incredibly stressful and Rachael made that part of the wedding easy. I didn't need constant attention but surely last minute attention and she rocked that. My wedding was in November in Salem MA. Rachael had showed up prior to our wedding to scope out a few spots. Never once did I have to help her find a place and that took a ton off my plate. I was getting ready with the Mom’s and when it was time to get in my insanely heavy (and tight) dress, the mother’s has a tough time helping. Rachael stepped up and got me in there! It was an absolute riot, but not sure what I would have done without her!! She was able to find this one area with ALL yellow leaves to take photos. They were amazing and very unique, which both my husband and I appreciate. Rachael was able to interact with all the guest, and everyone had wonderful things to say about her. The pictures were TOP NOTCH. I need to stress just how amazing they were, so I figure caps do the trick. Better than using some colorful language  After, Rachael pulled together the massive amount of pictures into a smaller grouping so we could choose them for our wedding album. The photobook idea was fantastic!! She is so creative, so thoughtful, and the grouping and setting of the pictures displayed so beautifully. I would suggest Rachael for ANY WEDDING. She is fantastic to be around and is a true artist. I don’t think I would have had even close to the wonderful experience if it wasn't for her.

My husband and I were extremely happy, that of course we had to do Trash the Dress! What a fun creative experience to do! Rachael has taken all our pictures throughout the past 7 years, and I wouldn't have it any other way. There is truly no other person I would want to capture all my families memories on camera!

as truly happy for me. They were able to get shots of everyone that was important to me at the wedding on both my side and my husbands side. I was completely shocked with the amount of pictures that were taken after the day, they were able to get so many action shots along with the posed ones. I had my reservations about having it in the winter but it could not of turn out more perfectly. Rachael came to me during the reception and told me it was snowing outside and if Eric and I could take a couple minutes and go with her we would get some great shots. That was the best advice that I could have gotten at the time. Those outdoor shots were my favorite of the wedding and the ones that I have framed in my house. We were only outside for a couple of minutes and so many were taken. I would have never known if she hadn't taken that initiative and asked us to go outside. Many people at my wedding loved Dragonfly and used them for their weddings as well.

She is the perfect balance between fun & professional, and really brings a great energy to her work. I knew having worked with her and seeing her photography that she would deliver creative and timeless photos for my wedding which was held at an art museum. I wanted to make sure Rachael was aware of the space we had in the museum, and she was so flexible in meeting me there to tour the museum so she had a better idea of the space. I can tell you that NO other photographer would take time out of their schedule to do something like that. Rachael makes you feel so relaxed, and defnitely wants you to have fun - and she assures you she is going to get the photos you want! I really can't say enough about her! We did our photobooth through her and the pictures were hilarious!!! Hire her, now.

had a very rainy day, and not only did she keep our spirits up about the weather, she took the most beautiful pictures of us in the rain, with our umbrellas, etc. The pictures of the weather is one of the main reasons I have no regrets about the fact that it rained--it looked magical in the photos! for a Bride at least. Thankfully, I used Dragonfly Photography! Rachel not only is super sweet, so much fun, down to earth but makes you feel so special in a way that this is "THE" wedding of the year and you are the only bride/wedding out there! Now of course I wanted some traditional pictures...I mean you have to especially with the family...but I really wanted those pictures that really did capture moments and not so structured...like they came out of a magazine (those pictures that you imagine in your head when you get engaged!). I can honestly say the pictures that Rachel took went above even what I imagined. Trying to narrow down to those that were going to be in our album was the hardest part! And even then Rachel would talk me through my anxiety (of not picking every single one!!) and help me even with this process...even after the wedding!! That makes a great photographer! I wanted to take "most" of my pictures and send them into Bride magazines because of the moments she captured and the quality and creativity of her work!! I would recommend any local (or not local!) Bride using Dragonfly Photography! I couldn't say enough with words...maybe I'll have to have her take a picture instead! :)
