Drake and CO Photo+FIlms

vailable to come with us on a hike while we eloped in 2020. We were so happy to have him and his team again for our larger wedding in 2021. Drake did a fantastic job making us feel comfortable and genuine while having our photos taken, he is a wizard at navigating family needs and ultimately takes beautiful photos that we feel lucky to have. His entire team went above and beyond on our wedding day to make sure they captured all of the special moments. Highly recommend Drake and Steven for your wedding photography and videography needs!

ed and being able to take part in our day. Pandemic or not, you need to add live stream to your wedding! I cannot wait to see all the finished videos, but we’ve already reached our live links for ceremony 4 times! It’s amazing to be able to relive our day whenever we want!

cisions we made. Aside from the stunning pictures received, Drake and Ashley were super patient and flexible with us as things were constantly changing the day of the wedding. They captured all the pictures we wanted from staged to candid and more, and did it in much colder temps than anticipated. It was a pleasure to work with Drake and I would highly recommend him for any upcoming event.

multiple guests tell as how impressive our photo team was. Our pictures came out incredible (there was never a doubt)!

el comfortable with the entire photo taking process. We did an engagement shoot at first in the fall, and Drake helped us to pick a beautiful location with changing aspens. Here we got to feel comfortable with him and his photography style. He made an awkward process feel not awkward at all. When it came to our wedding day, he was quick and efficient, and by then we knew how things would roll. The final images came out SO perfect and beautiful!! We still have guests raving about the photos that were taken! He and his assistant Ashley took the most astonishing pictures that will bring us back to that day for our lifetime. We would highly highly recommend Drake and Co! Thank you again Drake! 😊

Drake & CO were a pleasure to work with from start to finish and we can't get enough of the highlight video they made for us. It has been so much fun reliving our wedding day! In addition to their amazing photography work, we highly recommend Drake & CO for their film services!

us right away with the lengths he would go to in order to get great shots. Drake and Ashley took my dress, shoes and our rings (everything I was worried about forgetting) from our hotel to our venue to get some shots of those items before we arrived. That took a lot of stress off my shoulders and I am really looking forward to seeing those photos. Picking Drake and Ashley as my photographers for my wedding day was a great move. I highly recommend using them. Seriously, you will not regret it.

we quickly began researching local photographers. Drake & CO. stood out not only for their modern, dreamy website design, but also because of their raving reviews. Not to mention Drake & CO. was a preferred vendor for The Barn at Raccoon Creek so they had been there many times. Drake and Ashley made us feel extremely comfortable from the start and even offered to FaceTime us to meet/greet as we were not local to Colorado. On the day of the wedding, I almost forgot Drake and Ashley were around – they were so professional, funny and fit right in with our guests! Let me tell you – the pictures captured of our wedding day were so WORTH the wait!! Their creativity shined through every image and we can relive every special moment of our day (whenever we want) all thanks to Drake and Ashley. We appreciate the raw joy they were able to capture in so many images – we are having a hard time picking our favorites! Needless to say, my groom and I would highly recommend Drake and CO. for all your photography needs. We can’t wait to work with them again 😊!

phers to meet with (to start). My now-husband and I have been together for 7 years, and I have 7 years worth of awkward photos of him where he clearly hates having to pose and have a photo taken.. so it was important to me that I find a photographer he clicked with and enjoyed hanging out with so all of the photos from our wedding weekend wouldn't look like he was in physical pain (ha, but seriously). We met with one photographer who I was ready to book that day. I kept my meeting with Drake because I had read a review on The Knot from another bride (the review explained how she was sifting through her wedding photos and found these great shots of her husband and his groomsmen in a circle having a great moment together and the photo was from above. She couldn't figure out how Drake pulled it off until her friend who attended the wedding mention she had seen Drake climbing a tree to get the shot. That review is what made me keep the meeting with Drake!). After reading that I just really thought I needed to meet this guy who clearly sees opportunities for incredible photos and does whatever he needs to get them. About 5 minutes into talking with Drake I was sold and my now-husband was sold as well. I completely forgot about the first photographer I had loved just a few days before my meeting with Drake. To reiterate, I LITERALLY haven't seen a photo of myself in about 6 years that didn't reduce me to tears from being so uncomfortable with the photo. When we got back our wedding photos, I was so anxiety ridden over my fear of not liking a single one. I think Drake picked up on how uncomfortable I am in front of a camera and somehow captured the joy instead of all of my insecurities. I was crying from overwhelming joy looking at our photos, and I still am 5 months after our wedding. Drake's wife was unable to shoot our wedding with him, but the other female assistant (I hate that I can't remember her name) was so wonderful. They both had the most incredible energy about them, full of excitement for our day, like they were honestly invested in our marriage and the celebration, not just doing a job for a day. They were practically invisible for most of the wedding day, and getting beautiful detail shots and capturing the most special, smallest moments between me and my friends and family. I honestly don't have adequate words to express how phenomenal Drake is as a human and photographer. I promise you he will capture timeless, stunning photos of you and your loved ones. He will exceed your wildest expectations and has an infectious zeal for what he's doing as an artist that makes you so excited as his client. He was so kind to everyone, and managed our circus of a family so beautifully that everyone felt respected and didn't realize they were being corralled, photographed, and excused in record time. After being in countless weddings I've had experiences with pushy, rude, and disrespectful photographers and I've had the pleasure of working with fun, efficient, and talented photographers. Drake and his team are the best of the best. I can't say enough wonderful things about him and his talent, so I'm going to continue gushing over our engagement and wedding photos for the rest of time : )

e price was right. We are so thankful to the both of them. Drake’s wife Ashley was such a sweetheart in helping me not be nervous and did not make it feel awkward, she pulled us all out of our shell during getting ready and was able to laugh and join in the fun. Drake is the same way, so easy to work with, gets you the best shots by putting you at ease and just an all around great guy! We were really stressed because we had a 5 pm wedding in the fall and were were fighting the sun. Despite the time crunch we got so many beautiful photos to cherish! We can’t wait to see the videography! I’m so glad we chose to do video last minute because I lost my vows and did not have a copy. If anyone is on the fence on videography, I recommend doing it because pictures can’t capture the heartfelt words. We are so excited to see our wedding album and loved the personal engraved box they sent us with the drive that held our photos! Turn around time on photos was faster than expected too! Thanks so much!

ndors...the best decision I made was hiring them! From the moment they arrived and even the weeks leading up, it was such a breeze. My husband didn’t understand at first why I said an amazing photographer is a must...after the wedding and then receiving the photos, he completely understands now. I wish we could give more than 5 stars honestly! Thank you again so much Drake, you gave us the most beautiful pictures and captured everything so perfectly!

pful and make everything great for us (Ashley helped to steam my dress & Drake got the groomsmen some extra drinks). When it came time to take pictures they were energetic, fun, and really kept my husband and I relaxed because they had everything under control and gave us constant direction with what to do, how to pose, where to look, etc. Drake & Ashley - THANK YOU for making our special day that much more special.

ately made us feel known and a part of their family. They listened to our vision and values for our wedding and we're invaluable in connecting us with other trusted vendors in the Vail and Denver area. Neither my husband nor I particularly like the spotlight and we honestly were a little anxious about our engagement photos. However, Drake made us feel at ease and comfortable in front of the camera from the moment we started. He took a wonderful variety of classic and artistic photos and somehow captured the essence of our personalities and relationship in the photos. We left our engagement shoot saying how surprised we were at how easy and fun it was to take those pictures! On our wedding day, Drake, Ashley and team were quite literally everywhere in the best way! They captured everything from the smallest details to the most memorable moments without us even noticing. They captured every combination of bridal party, family and friend photos we could have hoped for AND some! Some of our favorites are the candid shots we couldn't have planned for or expected, like subtle hand holds, reactions to toasts and glances between me and my sister. Drake and Ashley were timely, creative and incredibly encouraging. They once again managed to capture a perfect mix of classic photos and artistic expressions that capture the essence of our relationship. They kept us smiling and laughing throughout the day, and even pulled out a granola bar mid-shoot when they heard my stomach growling (what more could you want?!). Their photographs are the highest quality pictures. We (and our family and friends) were quite frankly in awe of the photographs. They memorialized the greatest day of our lives, and thanks to their talent and hard work, we can bring that day back to life over and over again. Drake and Ashley's photographs are a precious gift that we'll cherish for a lifetime. I seriously can't say enough wonderful things about this couple and team! They are a must have for your wedding or event!

our photos back to us in a great time. They did our engagement and wedding photos and I booked a session for a boudoir shoot. They were one of my favorite vendors to work with. They go above and beyond to get that perfect picture for you. You can tell they love what they do and you can see it in the work. You need and want to book them for your event, you won’t be disappointed.

t for our engagement and wedding photos. He was very accommodating to our location for our engagement photos and after receiving those we are anxiously awaiting our wedding day photos. Our entire wedding party and family sincerely enjoyed Drake and his wife's effort to get the best shots! I cannot express enough how much of a value they bring to your wedding day! I hope to one day use them again in the future!

ING! They are so friendly and make the whole picture taking process easy and painless. They do a great job of staying pretty invisible while taking TONS of photos. They even had a drone to capture some aerial shots of our big day. We have not gotten our pictures back yet as the wedding was just a week ago, but I know that they are going to be beautiful pictures and we CAN'T WAIT to see them!

om the moment we met Drake we felt completely at ease, and after seeing more of his work we "popped the question. " Drake will you be our photographer?"- luckily he said yes. Drake and his wife are the easiest people to work with, and do an unbelievable job! I've never felt so beautiful, and frankly my husband and I have never looked so good! Drake and Ashley are not just great photographers, but genuinely good people. We will use them always, recommend them to everyone, and cherish the memories they gave us on our big day. Thank you Drake and Ashley, you guys are the best!

I am forever grateful for our wedding pictures that I will cherish forever.

oot our wedding at Crooked Willow this past October and the pictures he took perfectly captured the incredible day! He is an incredibly friendly and fun person who is very easy to work with! Just to share a little bit about how far Drake will go, we were shooting some pictures after the ceremony by a pond and Drake wanted to get some shots from the opposite side of the pond. He climbed up a rock wall, only to have to jump down 4 feet to get to the spot he wanted. He slipped on his landing and went face first into wet grass, staining his pants and shirt! Thankfully he wasn't hurt and his camera was unharmed as well. When he finally got to the spot and snapped a couple of shots, the sprinklers started to go off! Drake had to run back to the wall and scramble up and back down to save the day. In the end, we were left with a great story that we'll remember forever and INCREDIBLE pictures! We chose a package that included a 12x12 photo album, a variety of prints. Drake did an incredible job organizing the album and it is very high quality! The prints turned out great and he sends you ALL of the pictures he took, not just the "best ones", on a flash drive. We would highly recommend Drake for your special day!

n one day and Drake was awesome and flexible with all our needs. We love how he is so personable and easy to get along with. He is able to get the crowd to have fun while also being organized and efficient at getting everyone organized for the perfect photos. He made everyone feel so comfortable and my husband and I really enjoyed spending time with him and Ashley. Not only did he get all the group shots and amazing photos of my husband and I, but he got some special candid photos and action shots on the dance floor. He does such a natural job of capturing the moment without being noticeable. We loved how he just felt like part of the party and never once got in the way. We highly recommend Drake and Ashley and are 100% happy with the services they provided.

otos and they are beautiful! Of course my wife makes any photo look amazing!

s the process fun with his easygoing calm demeanor. He was great at keeping things on schedule but also willing to take the couple for a quick shoot with the perfect light of alpenglow at just the right moment. Very responsive in the planning as well. Highly recommended!

am totally in love them! I love how they captured all of the small details throughout the day - my jewelry and dress, the wedding program, the flowers and centerpieces, and the architecture in the church. They did a great job capturing our family and friends, which was very important to me. They also created creative shots throughout the day that may our photos look unique. They were totally committed to doing everything possible to get the best pictures, which included spending 30 min outside in the freezing cold and snow. And they were great people to work with! Drake was very helpful throughout the planning process. He responded promptly whenever I had questions or specific requests. I would definitely recommend Drake Busch Photography to anyone in need of a photographer.

ur wedding day, Drake and his assistant showed up to the site promptly, ready to go, and full of energy. They arrived at the perfect moment to give their opinion on setting up the arch for the ceremony at just the right angle. Then they whisked away the dress, shoes, suit and rings to take pictures. Then each of them took pictures of the bride and groom getting ready. When it was time for our first look, Drake coordinated the timing perfectly to capture the special moment. At one point, he had us stand on a bridge, and he went off tromping down the hillside towards the creek. He doesn't let anything get in his way, and is fearless in capturing the shot he wants. He consistently gave us pointers on where to look and what to do, which I found extremely helpful. He choreographed our wedding party in a few different locations around the property which turned out amazing. During the ceremony it started to rain, and Drake passed out about a dozen umbrellas that HE had brought. For pictures after the ceremony, he pulled over a handful of chairs himself to arrange people in a group. He directed people where to go and how to stand, so that the spacing in all of the pictures were perfect. He consistently went above and beyond, all day, and into the evening during the reception. I couldn't be happier with the pictures that Drake and Haley captured. Everyone who has seen the pictures has commented on how awesome they are!

ugh worth any price!), laid back and creative. We couldn't appreciate him and Ashley more, we cannot wait to see our pictures! He shot my sister in law's wedding and they turned our absolutely beautifully so I know ours will too!

the day with us, and it was a great experience. He offers an engagement shoot as part of his packages, and they were just lovely. Our family and friends loved them too. So far we have only seen our sneak peek pictures from our wedding, but we love them! Can't wait to see the rest!

ent photos and our wedding. We are so happy with how everything turned out. He took a mixture of posed and candid photos and took the time to find some beautiful spots around our venue for some wonderful photos our my husband and I.

hey captured the emotion of the day and we highly recommend them to any couple! Even our guests couldn't stop raving about how great our photographers were and other newlyweds commented on how they wished they were their own photographer. The value, attention to detail and quality of work is unbeatable. Don't look elsewhere - just book with Drake Busch Photography.

n I got engaged. We had met with 3 other photographers and my fiancé didn't like a single one. That all changed after meeting Drake and Ashley. We left our first meeting and had decided on them before we even got out of the parking lot. They did an amazing job on our engagement photos taking us to somewhere we had never been, Maroon Bells in Aspen. We felt comfortable the whole day and the photos are stunning! We are constantly receiving compliments on them. I know our photos at the wedding will be just as beautiful! They make this whole process less stressful, and the memories you walk away with are beautiful.

reat ideas. My husband and I are way off in height and Drake gave us AMAZING photos. I am so happy we chose him to do our photos, he made the experience fun and we didn't have to try for photos.
