We are a husband + wife wedding photography team that call Louisville, KY home. We absolutely love our jobs and a have blast shooting weddings together! Weddings are full of special little moments and big emotions, that's what we're constantly striving to capture for our couples. Our collective focus is on the people and the love they share for each other. This reaches farther than just the love the bride and groom share, but also the love that those celebrating their marriage share with them. We feel these are the things worth preserving for the years and generations to come!

ding photographers while in the decision process. As a creative myself, this decision meant a lot to me. I was looking for sound quality photos, someone to capture real moments, not staged ones (even though those are nice, too!) and a photographer that wasn't intrusive. Looking at their work, I saw the true talent in the B&W shots Drake was showing us in the consultation. In these photos, the pretty green flowers and beautiful colors go away and give into the raw emotion of the photos. I was sold! During our engagement shoot, we were pretty nervous to have photos taken but Eliza made it FUN. Like real giggles and all! It was magical. At the wedding, Drake and Eliza paid close attention to our wants. Time was made for big family shots we wanted and the close up of the details of the day we wanted captured. They moved effortlessly (almost invisibly!) during the ceremony and reception doing their thing. Guests commented to us that they were impressed with them. Upon getting our gallery I was blown away. Our whole family and friends were! If you're just now looking for a photographer, put these guys at the top of your list. If you are on the fence, this is your gentle push onto their side. Their ability to capture small moments, endearing exchanges and truly magical and beautiful images is exceptional. Their eye for detail is one I haven’t seen in other photographers and not to mention they are the coolest to be around and hang with all day! The engagement session was a bit awkward at first but Eliza made it a walk in the park - literally! He put my wife and I at ease during the formal photos, helped wrangle all the family for the big group shots, and was able to discretely take those candid photos during the reception. He perfectly captured out event and gave us the photos we had always dreamed of and will forever cherish.

We took pictures in our home, outside, inside our ballroom venue, and on a lighted patio in the evening, and every single photo is elegantly shot despite the changes in location and lighting. Drake & Eliza also captured so many special and intimate moments throughout the day and it will be a joy to relive those through their photography forever. Drake and Eliza are both go with the flow, easy going people, and in the hustle and bustle of a wedding day are able to float around almost unseen to capture moments of the groom, the bride, friends, family, etc. When looking at photographers, we wanted someone who could capture emotion and mood, not someone who was into the left over right, turn this way, etc. posted portraits. Drake and Eliza were helpful during the planning process giving us an amazing recommendation for a florist. Our engagement shoot was what one of my bridesmaid says, “Is the stuff of dreams.” Drake and Eliza went above and beyond at our wedding and the photos they took will be treasured for a life time. What I love most about Drake and Eliza's work is that they have the ability to draw genuine moments out of scenarios that can otherwise easily look and feel posed or forced--they definitely shared that talent with us. In fact, Drake made our engagement shoot feel more like a fun date night (and that totally shows in out photos!).
Both he and Eliza were totally unobtrusive throughout the entire wedding day, and were completely patient with us, our guests, and all of our guests' cameras! Their ability to balance capturing every moment beautifully with the courtesy and professionalism they showed our guests was so important to my husband and I.

For all of our shoots/events they were on time, super friendly to all of our guests, and worked great with our vendors. We were also so thrilled that we received all of our photos within 2 weeks of all of our shoots! een. They were very easy to collaborate with and were flexible in shooting in two different locations. But Drake and Eliza went above and beyond by actually making our wedding experience feel even more special. We did an elopement and they arranged for us to have a first dance (something we hadn't even thought of) by playing our song on a portable speaker. They also made us feel more relaxed, therefore looking more natural, and made the photo session a truly enjoyable and memorable experience. Our time spent taking the photos was one of the very best parts of our wedding day. They were very quick in getting our photos to us, and we couldn't possibly be happier with the result.

Once the wedding day came, they showed up and it was all uphill from there. They were both so attentive to us, but also super attentive to one another - I can see why they work so well together as husband and wife - they were a true team. We had so much fun with them, experimenting with different things, even finding a rogue football table on the street to play with. Both Drake and Eliza are super sweet and personable people, we had such an amazing day with them.
My husband's favorite moment of them was being on the dance floor. Drake had the camera and was taking pictures; Eliza was holding the flashes and walking around the dance floor. I don't know if she was doing this because she just couldn't help but feel the beat or if she was simply trying the blend in, totally doesn't matter, but he looks over and she's just dancing through the crowd, holding her flashes. He loved it. And we just loved them!
