But with how beautifully everything turned out, we didn't care and had to enjoy our day by dancing in the rain. Throughout the planning process, there are so many little details that you don't even realize have to be coordinated. Cait helped us filter through the hottest items and even adjusted to how I needed to be fed information which was so helpful in such a crazy planning process. The week leading up to the wedding, I feel like most brides are stressed out making sure that everything is ready for the big day. he entire team was a breeze to work with from day 1 and Ally (our main planner) really helped us the entire way in turning our vision into a reality. Not only did she help us think of all the little details, create a cohesive timeline, and keep us on track— but they truly went above and beyond on our actual wedding day. They made a Spotify playlist on the fly because our ceremony musician was late (so seamless my guests and I didn’t even notice), fixed seating changes right before the reception started, and helped pack candy to-go bags and floral bouquets for our guests to easily take home easily. Didn’t even ask them to, but so happy they did! Overall, I was prepared for our wedding day to be stressful and hectic, but we got to enjoy every minute of it carefree because Ally and Meghan were behind the scenes making it all happen for us! Cait is a ray of sunshine in every room she walks in, but don't let that fool you - she is a master communicator, savvy businesswoman, and has a penchant for detail. Our wedding was more beautiful, warm, and flawless than I ever allowed my heart to dream - even thunderstorms and pouring rain mid-day couldn't phase me! Courtney and team brought to life the Nancy Meyers-esque dinner party of my dreams. My eyes fill with tears just writing this, thinking back to the band playing Rat Pack standards as candlelight bounced off mirrored tabletops, reflecting the ornate ceiling, soft cherry trees, and sexy custom dance floor as our guests laughed and drank together. It was all truly perfect - not only because I got to marry the love of my life, but because Drake Social perfectly encapsulated and personified our joy into a wedding that we will never forget (and our friends and family cannot stop talking about). The second time around you kind of lose the spark and motivation - but throughout the entire process Courtney kept me excited and engaged- she never stops reaching towards perfection! I began with a partial planning package but after the first planning call realized the immense details and opted for the full planning package- this was easily the BEST decision I could have made. Getting married can be stressful but with all honesty I felt little to no stress as I knew Courtney had it covered. Her vendor recommendations were top notch and the constant communication she led with each of them proves just how hard she works. After giving Courtney a run down on my style, likes, color palette- I let her take the reins on almost all style decisions and WOW did she go above and beyond with the execution. The cliché phrase, “rain is good luck on your wedding day” doesn’t stand true when your all-outdoor wedding must be moved inside in less than 48 hours notice. Though disappointed in the weather I had absolutely NO doubts that Courtney and her team would make it just as beautiful inside. The logistics behind the move inside were extensive and tricky but the ceremony and reception were even more beautiful and flawless than I could have ever imagined. All weekend we received compliments from family and bridal party about the organization of the whole event and how professional Courtney and her team were. I truly cannot thank Courtney enough for making all my wedding goals come to life. Never too late to get a married a third time to the same person, right?

Since Jenny is an experienced event planner, she was able to lead the process very effectively, and Courtney and her team worked with us as our Day-of Planner. Courtney was fantastic during the weeks leading up to the wedding, sharing tips/tools with Jenny, organizing our planning meeting and the walk-through with the vendors and helping me stay on schedule. She is highly organized, and focused on all the details that made the day so special for our family. On the wedding day, she and her team kept us all on point and "picked up the pieces" for anything we missed, without skipping a beat. The day was flawless! They were so much fun for us to work with, complemented each other as a team, and impressed everyone they met with their professionalism and approachable demeanor. were wonderful, we soon realized the planning of a wedding was going to require so much and we were both working with much travel involved. Plus, our wedding date was less than two months from the day I asked Delta to marry me. We asked for suggestions for wedding planners and reviewed several websites and decided to call Courtney of Drake Social. I knew on the first call we had our wedding planner. Her energy and excitement and knowledge immediately impressed me. We picked out a planning package based on my request to have her do almost everything. With limited time and a busy work life we relied on Courtney to suggest almost all of our vendors. We did pick out our rings, the wedding dress and dress for the wedding party, and the venue. Almost everything else came from Courtney. She would give us two or three names and a description of each vendor and we would pick one based on our preferences. Once Courtney had a name that was all she needed to make everything happen. The two of us and Courtney met with the Mandarin staff and decided on the arrangements for the wedding weekend. We had the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner on Friday, the wedding and reception with a live band on Saturday, and a breakfast on Sunday before our entire wedding party and attendees left for their homes. We had a brief stop at home before a honeymoon in Savannah. The entire weekend was a storybook event. Everything was perfect at the Mandarin Oriental in Buckhead. The vendors we selected with Courtney's guidance were perfect. We had flowers, special chairs and tables, special floral and wedding arrangements, a string quartet, a live band, a special room for children, a room for the bride and a room for the wedding party, a room for the rehearsal, a room for the wedding and a room for the reception in addition to all the guest rooms. Each function room had its own unique decoration and contents. Every meal was wonderful and we knew it would be after the tasting event Courtney arranged at the Mandarin. Courtney even recommended our officiant and he was fantastic. Courtney spent the entire weekend making sure everything was perfect and fabulous. I know there was much she did behind the scenes to make sure we had the fabulous wedding we wanted and experienced. Our guests still talk about how wonderful it was and how much they enjoyed being part of our special weekend and wedding. By our last interview, we knew we'd found our perfect match in Courtney Drake with Stella Harper Events. She took our piecemeal vision and brought to life a celebration more breathtaking than Alex and I could have ever imagined. The ceremony was beautiful, involving our wedding party walking over a pool of water to the breathtaking music of a string quartet. The cocktail hour felt like an intimate gathering of friends in the elegant Taipan room of the Mandarin, complete with floor to ceiling views of the gorgeous ceremony Gardens at sunset. Our reception included a remarkable four-course plated dinner with wine pairings and wonderful live musical entertainment. Not a fraction of our perfect day could have been accomplished without our brilliant Courtney. We will forever be grateful to Courtney Drake for creating the wedding of our dreams. Hiring her was absolutely the best money we could have spent on our wedding.
