Working with Dream Light for our wedding was an absolute dream! We worked with Rebecca Haas as our lead photographer and she and our 2nd photographer, Rebecca K, were both so lovely to work with on the day of our wedding. Very professional and helpful with anything we needed. Our photos look absolutely gorgeous. We have so many amazing shots to choose from. Would highly recommend working with Dream Light to capture any special moment.

I cannot recommend Guillermo and his highly talented team of photographers enough! Five out of five stars! 10/5 if I could! Rebecca and Gara photographed my October 6th wedding and bypassed my expectations further than I ever imagined possible! Each and every photograph of the hundreds was spectacular! I’m used to one of a bunch being worthwhile. Not here! You get ONE chance for your wedding photography. There’s no do-over! You won’t go wrong with this dream team!! ❤️

We were very happy with our wedding photos shot by Guillermo. He knew the venue well (The Butterfly House), and as a result was able to find some amazingly beautiful shots. Everything turned out a very high quality at a reasonable price. Overall we would recommend his services, we just have a few small qualms that I am leaving here at the end because we know overall most wedding photographers have great reviews, and sometimes the small negative things can be important in making a decision. These "complaints" only mildly reduced our satisfaction with the final product. First, Guillermo and his wife (his shooting assistant), are friendly, but not the easiest to work with. They can be a bit disorganized when searching for the "perfect" shot which led to a lot of running back and forth during our pre-ceremony shoot trying to cram everything in. We had pretty standard requests (shots with bride and groom, family, and wedding party), but it still took a full hour and a half out in the sun before the ceremony even began. The duration was planned ahead of time, so it's not like it was a surprise, but in retrospect it could have been much more efficient with more organization. What's more, we filled out this long list of all the specific shots we wanted ahead of time (bride/groom/grandparents, bride/groom/parents, etc.) to ensure everything was covered the day of, which I thought was wonderful; however, the day of the wedding him and his wife didn't check off the list as we went through, so half way through they were asking us which we had and hadn't done and everyone was trying to remember and keep it all straight. I think we got everything in the end but it was definitely an unnecessary stress. Finally, it was a little disappointing that there were almost no shots in the final product from the non-dancing guests at the reception. Nearly everything was of the dance floor, so some of our older relatives didn't make it into any shots. The dancing definitely had some amazing shots so I understand why that was the focus, but we would have preferred at least some time spent with the sitting guests. If you want the rest of the reception covered, not just the dance floor, specify this ahead of time with Guillermo. To sum up, if your main priority is stunning photography, Guillermo is an excellent choice. However, if you're looking for a completely seamless experience where the photography runs smoothly without much oversight on your part, you might want to consider exploring other photographers within their company.

Photographers note: This is a lovely review for which we are very grateful, but about the "small qualms": In my opinion, we were as efficient as we could be as true artists at a large park totally invaded by "senior" photographers and their fam...
ilies to produce the results we did.  They are indeed "beautiful" and in depth - lots of different "stunning" locations and shots.  We profoundly appreciate these wonderful words. But the convenient locations at the park were overrun by the senior families and their photographers.  We found truly lovely and private locations but they were out of the way bit. And we do like to work closely with our clients. It is always a joint effort to capture all the meaningful images you want on your wedding day. If you want to prioritize efficiency over art and not be involved in the process - please do go somewhere else. We enjoy producing art together with our clients and are grateful for being given the time and the involvement of our cleints to produce true and meaningful art together.

We love the photos we got from Tom and Guillermo! They look absolutely amazing! Tom did a wonderful job capturing our day from all different angles. Guillermo was quick to respond with updates and was able to retouch the photos as requested.

We hired Dreamlight Tom Casey as our daughter’s photographer for her wedding at the forest park. Tom was so professional and dedicated. They delivered the products within 5 weeks, which is so ahead of schedule. We love the work ethic and services provided by Dream Light! Highly recommended for sure.👍

Dream Light Art Photography was perfect for us. We only needed 3-4 hours of coverage and they worked with us to make that happen (whereas other wedding photographers may have packages that start at 6 or 8 hour coverage). We worked with Rebecca and Guillermo and they were kind and helpful through the whole process. It is a great price for great service and quality images. Everything went smoothly thanks to Dream Light Art Photography so we definitely recommend them!

I have nothing but good things to say about this vendor! I worked with Guillermo and Dominique and they were both great. Guillermo was extremely responsive during the planning process and after the fact, and Dominique made sure he got the best lighting and locations for the pictures. It was a sunny and windy day so Dominique had his work cut out for him, but I love how they turned out! I can’t wait to display the pictures for everyone to see!

We loved everything about working with DreamLight Art! Our photos for both the engagement session and our wedding day are stunning and everyone was flexible with scheduling and responsive to communication. Emily was very organized and creative during our shoots and helpful with working through the wedding timeline, and attentive to our requests and details. We utilized 1 photographer for 10 hours on our wedding day at a very competitive rate but no sacrificing quality. The image processing was fantastic with about a 6 week turnaround from each shoot. We will definitely use them for future photo sessions and recommend to all in the St. Louis area.

We worked with Guillermo and Emily for the entire process and were so happy with everything! Guillermo was super knowledgeable and helped us pick the photography package right for us. Emily was amazing as our day-of wedding photographer, she got some amazing shots at Lafayette Park, The Arch, and around the streets of Soulard. Plus, she had a super fast turn around getting the edited photos back to us. We would recommend this company to anyone hand down!

She took initiative throughout the day, effortlessly organizing shots and capturing candid moments we’ll cherish forever. The photos are stunning, beautifully capturing the emotions and atmosphere of our wedding. Guillermo even stopped by to be our second shooter for our ceremony and the back part of the reception! We love the edits Gara did and are obsessed with the lighting effects she chose. She captured everything from our biggest moments to our smallest details. We booked Dream Light Art by Guillermo on the Knot - I was able to choose a photographer from the site and chose Emily Owens for our wedding day for 8 hours. We are overjoyed by the sheer amount of wonderful photos we received for the price. We received well over 600 photos. Each one was carefully chosen and touched up exactly how we imagined. Guillermo was able to listen to our vision and deliver exactly what we pictured in the edited photos. Emily did an amazing job capturing each moment alone by herself and she also helped to keep us on schedule. This was a tough job and she managed all by herself. We are so happy with how it turned out! And for the price, was absolutely a plus. Thank you Guillermo and Emily!

We booked with Dreamlight Art in Dec 2023 for my daughter’s June 2024 wedding in STL. I could not have been more pleased with the entire experience. The cost was reasonable, especially with all that is included. We just received our link to the finished photos today -- they are magical! It was a magical day; but between the Photographer, Rebecca Haas, and the finished color processing by Guillermo, I/we are totally blown away. Our expectations were exceeded. Rebecca captured the best light, smiles, and emotions. We don’t have another wedding anytime soon but we will be booking Dreamlight/Rebecca/Guillermo for family shots in the fall.

Before you make a final decision on your wedding day photographer(s), take a second to look at the hundreds of 5-star reviews on Dream Light Art Photography... If that doesn't persuade you, I don't know what will! If there is one thing I could go back and thank myself for, it would be calling Guillermo and booking Dream Light Art to photograph our wedding. They worked with us for year and a half to plan each and every detail, involving both photos and timeline! Through the entire process, Guillermo and Emily were both patient, kind, and equally as excited for our wedding day as we were! Emily was the main photographer on our big day, while Guillermo served as a second photographer during our ceremony. They were both nothing short of creative, upbeat, and amazing. I would recommend Dream Light Art a million times over! When we received our wedding photos back, we were even more confident that we had chosen the right team. We are absolutely OBSESSED with the photos and cannot wait to hang them all over the house. You can tell they put countless hours of time, passion and detail in the photos. We are so happy with our choice to hire Dream Light Art. They are a truly talented team and an absolute dream to work with! 5/5 stars all day!

This company was great to work with! Not only was Guillermo a great communicator and provided amazing customer service (he reached out to us, called us to explain everything, let us know when he'd have things ready), but the pictures turned out amazing! Everything was perfectly edited and we couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. Our photographer was professional, communicated with us throughout the process, and took amazing pictures. Also, we got all of our pictures within a month after our wedding. I highly recommend this company for your wedding, they have made the whole process easy and we are so grateful we found them.

We would highly recommend Dream Light Art Photography! We initially were drawn to Dream Light Art because of their flexibility and very reasonable cost. Our daughter was having a small, family focused destination wedding, so we were looking for a photographer that would be willing to schedule us for only a couple of hours, not an easy task, but then we found Dream Light Art. We worked with Guillermo, who was wonderful from our initial conversations all of the way through until we received his beautiful photographs. He took the time to find out what shots we wanted and provided great suggestions based on his extensive experience during a planning session prior to the wedding day, which helped reduce a lot of anxiety knowing we were all on the same page. He was punctual, well prepared, and very professional on the day of the wedding. Finally, he was very efficient with the processing of the images and had them sent to us within a couple of weeks! Thank you so much Guillermo for your help making this day one that can be remembered and enjoyed for years to come!

I highly recommend using Dream Light Art for any photo's, but definitely if you're looking for a wedding photographer. We worked with Guillermo and Warda and they were wonderful! The communication through the whole process was great. We met before the wedding and went over the whole day and what pictures we wanted, and expectations were beyond met. The pictures turned out amazing!! His use of light and eye for color were better than I could have ever imagined. Love, love, love our photos!!

My husband and I worked with Emily and Guillermo for our wedding photography and couldn't be happier with what we got. All of our initial email interactions were very helpful and professional to help us figure out who we wanted to work with. We loved Emily's work and were so happy we chose her as our photos came out beautifully. We were very comfortable with the amount of communication and planning that was done in the months, weeks and days before the wedding and while the wedding was chaotic, Emily was an amazing asset to getting everyone where they needed to be for photos. She also worked out amazing locations and frames for beautiful photos. She is a true master of her craft. Once we got our photos, we loved they way they looked. The only criticism we had, we brought up with Guillermo who went above and beyond to make every detail perfect and what we wanted, which we appreciate immensely. Guillermo and Emily are both very talented and a pleasure to work with. Would recommend to every bride and groom, without a doubt.

I had an excellent experience working with Guillermo and Gara. Gara shot my sister’s wedding a decade ago, and I was so happy she was available for mine in July! Despite that our wedding day was extremely hot (95? 100?…duh, STL in July), Gara took wonderful photos; my husband and I both expected that we’d look tired and sweaty in every shot. Somehow, we don’t! (Okay, there are a few, but the majority we look just fine!) I attribute 90% of this to Gara’s skill—she is intuitive and able to capture people at their best angles, and she is ready to hop in a car and go “off-location” for a 10-minute photo set. (It was a couple of blocks away, but still!) Plus, she takes a LOT of photos which leaves plenty of room for subjects (like me) to “ruin” a shot and still have a ton of nice ones to choose from. Gara did a bang-up job, and before the end of the wedding, we were happy to call her a friend and guest—not just “our photographer.” Guillermo promptly sent us a flash drive with all of our pictures, and he was extremely accommodating and communicative from the beginning, when we initially discussed hiring Dream Light. I had a really wonderful experience, and it was 100% worth the money. (They have competitive pricing, too.) Thank you, Guillermo! And, again, thank you so, so much for capturing our wedding, Gara!💖

I had an amazing experience with Guillermo for engagement photos and would have had him for my wedding if it wasn’t in another country. He arrived on time and was very patient with us. The pictures came out really beautiful (I was surprised I was photogenic!) and only took a couple of days to send them to us. The price you pay is more than affordable for what you get. Will be recommending to family and friends.

I had a wonderful experience working with Dream Light Art for my wedding! Rebecca was our photographer, and she was so helpful in giving us direction throughout the day so we had a perfect mix of poised, natural, and candid pictures. Guillermo did a great job processing the photos- they look really high quality. And they got the pictures back to us quickly, especially considering we had a summer wedding and I'm sure they had a lot of other couples' photos to process!

Rebecca and Guillermo were both fantastic to work with throughout the process! Rebecca was our photographer – she was very communicative and quick to respond ahead of the day. On the day of, Rebecca was calm, organized and gave us the direction we needed for beautiful pictures. She listened to what we wanted, and took a great mix of traditional, candid and creative shots. After the wedding, the process was SO simple. The pictures were ready before we were expecting them, and they were all sent to us in multiple formats. We love our pictures and are so happy to have them to remember our wedding day. I highly recommend Dream Light Art Photography!

We used Dream Light Art Photography for our wedding and we chose Dominique as our photographer. We didn’t have a traditional wedding and they were able to work with us and meet our needs. Dominique did an amazing job with our photos in such a short time we had him! Would highly recommend!

We used Dream Light for our wedding and had Gara as our photographer. Even by herself, Gara was very quick and efficient with her time. She communicated everything she was doing and got so many different pictures in a 6 hour time frame. She’s amazing at staging photos so it does not look like a minute was missed. When we received our sneak peak, her work was so stunning, it made us anxious to see the rest of her work. Even if you don’t use Gara, I’d use Dream Light anyway, they’re just amazing!!

Gara and Guillermo are absolute jewels to work with! They are so friendly and flexible based on what we wanted for our special day. Gara was amazing at taking our photos. She told us exactly how to pose which calmed my nerves down during our engagement session. She made us laugh and was just super easy to get along with! Guillermo is a very fast responder which is amazing and always answers my questions to the fullest extent. He made us feel as if he is there for us and made the experience feel personal to us. We felt heard in the process! I will always recommend Dream Light Art Photography to all my friends and family. I cannot wait until our wedding day to see more of their work because they are absolutely fantastic at making memories through their photos.

I can not express how happy we are that we chose dream light for our wedding photography! We have had the most amazing experience working with Rebecca and Guillermo. They gave us quick turnaround for getting our photos back and the quality is unbelievable! I am recommending them to all of our friends. They made our day super special and made us very very happy! If you are looking for an amazing company with great quality look no further! It was so hard choosing photos to add to our review because they were all absolutely amazing! I cannot say enough good things about Dream Light Art! Rebecca was our primary shooter and Gara was our secondary shooter and they were both wonderful. All of our pictures turned out so beautiful, I don't know how I'm going to narrow it down and pick favorites! We got back over 1500 pictures in just over a month, which was such a quick turnaround time. I wish I could give more than 5 stars!! I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Guillermo and Warda photographed our wedding this past October. I cannot say enough wonderful things about them. The pictures were STUNNING! Guillermo met with us and went over every detail to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. We had an early ceremony and Guillermo and Warda were with us all day even on the party bus. They are wonderful to work with. Warda was so sweet and helped hold my dress. Dream Light Art is an exceptional choice for your wedding photographer!

Dream light was a great company to work with for our wedding. Starting from the beginning, Rebecca did a wonderful job shooting out engagement pictures and they came out nice. Guillermo was who we communicated most with for the planning of our wedding. We had to reschedule twice because of covid, but he was easy and flexible with doing so. Gara was the lead photographer for our wedding day and she was absolutely outstanding. She exceeding all expectations! She brought an assistant in addition to the second photographer. Gara was energetic, friendly, and assertive when needed but she never imposed and was never rude or demanding. She has wonderful ideas for pictures and poses and allowed everyone to have fun while doing it. She is a hard worker; laying on the ground for some shots, on her knees, up in a tree, in the bushes, whatever it took!!! Nora was the second photographer and she was also amazing. She was great at making the little ones look at the camera and smile or laugh. Great experience and Guillermo, who did the editing and color processing, did an incredible job and all of our images turned out amazing. Great quality!

We absolutely loved working with Guillermo and Rebecca! They went far and above on all fronts and we hadnt made it easy. We hired them on short notice after replacing our original more expensive photographer when we found out we had to pay our original photographer per individual photo even for social media files and extra for edited images. With Dream Light we had 1400+ images in multiple quality sizes all color graded and made available as part of their standard package. When confusion about the hours came up from our end and shifted last minute they adjusted and offered a few solutions that would be a loss for them to make it all work out. On the day of Rebecca was amazing working seamlessly with our videographer to get all the important shots and we were amazed with all the candid work she got throughout the evening we would never have seen. She made the bride and the guests all feel comfortable and was very quick and kind. I was a little distracted during the ceremony but I have no clue how she managed to move around and get some of the angles she did without causing any distraction or disturbance. Then Guillermo got all the images edited and back to us in less than a month which was amazing compared to the average of 1 to 3 months our wedding planner told us to expect. We cannot recommend them highly enough. You will not find a better value of kindness and skill anywhere near their price.

I am so happy with my wedding photos from September 2021! Rebecca was my primary photographer and Gara was a secondary with Guillermo doing all of the photo editing after the date. The day of team was fantastic to work with - we set a schedule via email prior to the date since I was coming in from out of town and both photographers were timely and very professional throughout. They were also a good balance to each other, each with different ideas about lighting and location - they helped capture some AMAZING moments! Despite rain, my photos and all of the colors are fantastic because of the way the images were taken and the way Guillermo had them edited! I would absolutely choose this group again (not to mention how affordable they are and how they will work with your budget to get you exactly what you want & need!)!

My fiancé and I met at WashU, so we wanted to do an engagement photoshoot there, and the photos came out amazing! Gara was very accommodating and even met us bright and early at 6AM to shoot a sunrise photoshoot. She was very detailed and told us exactly how to pose. Guillermo was also very responsive in getting our edited photos back to us in a short amount of time. We love our photos and couldn't be happier with how they came out! Thank you Gara and Guillermo!

Far and away the best choice for wedding photography. Everything was captured perfectly. The photographer and assistant never stopped and helped capture memories for a lifetime. We HIGHLY recommend Dream Light! We received back over 1,300 edited photos in just over 4 weeks. We could not have asked for anything better! I'd give more stars if I could!

We moved to Illinois 9 months ago since we have a baby on the way and we decided to do our wedding at our house, we looked for some local photographers and we reviewed a little of their work, finally we decided to do it with Dream Art light Photography, from the beginning they collaborated with us with the entire organization to take the photos of our wedding, we cannot be happier with their work, they captured all the special moments without leaving any detail behind, we fully recommend them as they made us feel like family.

The fiancée and I were looking for a local photographer for engagement and wedding photos. We ran across Dream Light Art contacted them. Guillermo was very easy to work with and very flexible in making plans for both of them. We had Gara for a photographer for both occasions. Gara is good at what she does. We spent an hour and a half with her for the engagement photo shoot. She had plenty of ideas for them and they were really good. Gara captured our personality and had fun doing it. She did the same for the wedding! Gara made sure to capture every moment of the wedding. She was taking pictures from an hour before the wedding until a couple hours into the reception. We made stops on the way to the reception to take pictures as well because she saw places that would be nice for our occasion. All of our engagement photos and wedding photos came out really good. You can tell Gara loves what she does because she has that energy that only comes from doing what you love.

His skills with editing and color processing are unparalleled. Rebecca Haas has such attention to detail and is exquisite with posing direction. Rebecca even went 20 minutes over on her time for shooting our engagement session, ensuring that she included all of the poses I sent her in email attachments. You get all the rights to your images, 3 different sizing formats (for social media sharing, printing, wall prints, etc.), file shares via a dropbox, and a flashdrive with all versions of your photos. They absolutely give you it all, with quality, at a VERY affordable price! We had a bad experience with a previous photographer and lost out on a HUGE deposit. Don't let DLA be your redemption photographer - choose DLA first! Rebecca Haas was our engagement photographer, and Gara will be our wedding photographer. 💕

During our initial consultation with Gara, I mentioned I hate "posed" photos .. the ones where everyone looks dull and says "cheese." I wanted something different .. something artistic and classy yet fun and whimsical. Not an easy feat, clearly. But, GARA NAILED IT! I'm absolutely blown away by her beautiful works of art! Her energy, professionalism and creativity are second to none. Our guests even commented on her ability to be in all places at once, yet she was completely inconspicuous throughout. However, it's how she captured the small, intimate moments .. the incredible angles she used (she literally climbed a walls) .. the creative ways she leveraged our surroundings that set her apart. We absolutely loved our experience with Dream Light Art photography. We used them for both our engagement and wedding photos. Rebecca and Guillermo are amazing at what they do. Rebecca was super friendly, helpful and super easy to work with for our wedding. She kept us organized and made sure we got the photos we wanted and they were just beautiful. We went to multiple sites to take photos and Rebecca kept everyone smiling and on time. She was able to capture the energy and love on the best day of our lives. Absolutely incredible all around! Guillermo and Rebecca did the photos for my sister's wedding in 2017 and did such an amazing job that I based my wedding budget completely around having them. They are so great to work with and the photos turn out absolutely stunning every time! Being 2020, they were so easy to work with schedule changes as we had to postpone and cancel our reception due to covid and international travel. They have captured my favorite photos and moments from both our engagement and wedding party photo shoots! I wouldn't go with anyone else if you want the perfect pictures to remember!

Amazing!!! Would use over and over again!! They did my engagement and wedding pictures. All turned out beautiful! We used one of the engagement pictures for our Save the Dates. So many compliments! I just received a link for my wedding pictures last night (flash drive is in the mail) and Let. Me. Tell. You. These are AMAZING!!! They look like they are from a magazine!! My husband said all night that he couldn’t believe how great of a job they did. And after having the guys spend the entire time before at Top Golf... with a tad too many drinks... it wasn’t that easy to take our group pictures. I have no clue how they got so many great ones like they did!! Best company ever!! They take pride in their work and it shows! I am beyond happy I went went them!!

Guillermo is absolutely incredible! We had to change our wedding date due to COVID and he was super flexible and assured us that he would do whatever he could to ensure he was available for whatever new date we chose. We ended up choosing August 1st, and our wedding was perfect! Guillermo got our pictures to us in record time and they are wonderful--more than anything we could have ever asked for! They were fantastic. Our photographer, Rebecca, was engaging and excellent at finding the right position for us to get in and identifying the right angle and lighting for the shot. We did ours in Forest park and she also knew perfect little locations that made for intimate and unique photos. Guillermo was a talented editor — the lighting was vivid and he did an excellent job of touching up wardrobe malfunctions :-) and was very communicative.

My fiance and I got engaged back in august. We spent a month or so contacting different photographers and reviewing each one's work online. We came across dream light photography online through The Knot app. I filled out my information and inquired about different photography packages as well as pricing. Guillermo immediately contacted us back and answered all of our questions. We met with him in person after the holidays and he brought a variety of different portfolios for us too look at and explained all the different options in detail. My fiance and I knew right away that we wanted to work with him and his team. His work is outstanding and very affordable, which I know is important as well. We just had our engagement shoot on monday and already received all of our photos back!!! Let me tell you guys, they are so good I wanted to cry. After looking at these, we can't wait for our wedding day. For anyone that is still looking for a photographer, I highly recommend dream light photography!

I was a nervous, late in life bride, but Guillermo and Rebecca put me at ease! They were there to listen to my wishes and needs and offered many creative ideas...but letting me decide which was the best for us. They made us feel very special and that made us feel young! We decided to go ahead with the wedding on May 2nd...when we were limited 10 people. There were no guests in the church...just the priest, us, two witnesses, two musicians, video and our photographer, Rebecca. Rebecca was very cautious inside and wore a mask. It all turned out so lovely! We went down to old St Charles and there were some neat places to get our photos. We have decided to have our reception at the end of the summer and hope that works out We still have some hours left on our photography shoot to go towards that day too. Thank you, Guillermo and Rebecca...you gave us some wonderful memories of our special day with your photography. We look forward to our next photo shoot!

From the moment we started working with Dream Light Art, my husband and I knew we were in good hands. Guillermo and Rebecca, our photographer, met with us several times before our wedding to go over pricing, show their portfolios, help us create a shot list, and learn about us as a couple. On our wedding day, Rebecca managed to capture every image we wanted, despite a tight timeline and a large wedding party. When my husband and I received our breathtaking photos a few weeks later, we were in awe of the high quality, attention to detail, and how they perfectly captured the magic of our special day. Now, the only thing my husband and I have to do is figure out our favorites! With all the gorgeous photos we have to choose from, it won't be easy!

Rebecca and Guillermo did an amazing job photographing my wedding. When my fiancé and I first met them they were very professional, well organized, had a great portfolio of photographs, and listened well to our requests. A few weeks before our wedding, Rebecca met with us at our venue to look over the location, the lighting, and where she could take the best photographs. The day of the wedding Rebecca and her assistant photographer were on time and extremely helpful. My hair and makeup for my wedding party took longer than expected and caused our wedding events timeline to run behind schedule. Rebecca and her assistant were instrumental and using this extra time to organize other photographs and adapted as needed. During the reception they took some great candid photos and were resourceful in capturing the attention of our littlest family members during family photos. My fiancé and I were very pleased and would highly recommend them.
