THE DREAM TEAM We had the best experience with the Dream team. They deserve more than five stars. My wedding date was around the corner, and I was unsure about having a photographer and a videographer because I don’t like pictures/footage of me. I am not photogenic. I can’t pose, I don’t have good angles, and I feel awkward in front of a camera. I knew I had to move beyond my fears and the only possible way was to find the Dream team. It was an automatic click after having a fifteen-minute phone conversation with Shiva. She immediately understood my wants and needs, and I received more valuable information from her than anyone else. It became clear that we had found a great match, both in terms of style and personality. I was in search of the best photographers and videographers in town, and I am proud to say that I had found them! Shiva was always so responsive to the many questions and concerns I had. I could expect a response from her within minutes. Not to mention that she was the only vendor who checked on me daily. No doubt she was as invested as we were in making our wedding a dream wedding. She created a timeline that was essential to the success of our special day. The timeline detailed the steps to follow throughout the event. It not only managed our time effectively, but it allowed the Dream team to capture all the important moments. Shiva and Sam work in sync at all times. Sam did an amazing job of posing me in a way that made me feel and look beautiful, natural, and confident. He is extremely knowledgeable, carried great equipment, chose great site locations, and transformed an ordinary wedding into a work of art. Shiva was the best at boosting my confidence. Further, the videographers Cesar and Rene are talented, professional, cinematic storytelling-gifted individuals. They cared, listened, and were flexible. They did a fabulous job capturing the authentic moments in our day and putting them together to create something magical that we can rewatch and share for years to come. The dream team is so attentive. I am happy to say that we did it – we navigated the wedding sea smoothly with their helpful guidance. We were guided by true professionals through a process they master to perfection. I now realize that having photographs and videos that last a lifetime are beautiful memories that we will cherish our whole lives. I wouldn’t take the risk of using anyone other than the best for your big day so that is the reason I recommend the Dream team 110%. My husband and I got married at an event venue in Pasadena, TX, and the venue was super interesting - like a western town! We knew that photography would be of the utmost importance, and finding a photographer that understood the venue, the angles, and the lighting was super important to us. Thankfully, Dream Photo & Video was a preferred vendor for this location, and once we saw their work, we knew they were the company to choose. My husband takes photography seriously (even more than me) and ranked hiring a photographer almost above all other vendors (besides the pastor, lol). Shiva and Sam take a personal approach to their work, which we appreciate and value. From the first meeting with us to the last, and everything in between, their attention to detail was keen, and I could tell they truly cared for us, and the success of our wedding was critical to them. They went above and beyond in every form – there are so many examples, but I will choose two. First, my husband suffered a severe injury, which postponed our wedding for a year, one month from the original date. It was a horrific time with so much time spent at the hospital. Shiva and Sam made us food and delivered it to our home. I almost cried writing this because none of our other vendors even came close to this level of caring (and not even some friends). It meant the world and showed us we made the right choice. Second, I was having a hard time with my makeup. I don’t wear that much, so I chose someone who could do a “good” job. I asked Shiva and Sam for some guidance to ensure my makeup would look good in photos, and they offered for me to come over after my trial for their honest opinion and a photo. I am glad I did because the makeup was not up to par with “bridal makeup” and would have looked “cracked” in pictures. We determined I needed someone who could contour, and it helped me choose the right makeup artist. As for the wedding day itself, Sam and Shiva are a true power couple! They flowed smoothly with each other and were committed to ensuring every shot was captured. When my husband and I viewed the photos with them, we were amazed at how many photos they got of peoples’ expressions, which was such a wonderful surprise, and how they captured so much emotion in single shots. (I cried multiple times, lol.) By the way, I learned that most wedding photographers ship a USB to their clients or leave it at the venue for them to pick up. Having a personal meeting with them after the wedding was such a personal touch. They made us feel special even though we knew they had many other events happening. I know this is a long review, but sharing our personal experience is important so other couples can consider this when looking at photographers. Photos are forever, and it was indeed a “dream” (pun intended, lol) to work with them. We would hire them again for any significant life events. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

When we started looking for our wedding photographer we knew we wanted someone who was professional, flexible, creative, and most importantly someone who’s work was of high quality. I came across Dream Photo & Video through an old friend from high school, Nicole, she posted her wedding photos, her pictures were amazing and beautiful. Of course I needed the Dream Team for my wedding too! Once I meet with Shiva and looked at more of their work I fell in love with the all the details and the way how all of their pictures just came alive and told a story. Garret and I knew that same day we wanted Shiva to be our photographer for our wedding! Shiva was a huge help to us when it came to making some big decisions, like helping us find an amazing florist. Shiva was always available to hear us out, and helped us fix any issue we had while planning our wedding. Right before our big day Shiva and Sam had a great schedule planned out which helped us plan our itinerary for the day and made everything go so smoothly. My hubby and I had also just found out we were expecting a little one right before our big day. Shiva and Sam made it so easy on our wedding day for me because it was exhausting taking pictures all day, and being tired and sometimes nauseous I didn’t even miss a beat. They made sure and captured all of our wedding. When we saw the photos and video for the first time we both cried at how amazing they made us look, since we are both awkward at taking pictures. Dream Photo and Video was by far our best wedding investment. They were highly recommended by our wedding planner and I literally cried after seeing/watching their photo/video portfolio. The photojournalistic and editorial style of their photos is exactly the reason we chose them to document our wedding and the results were spectacular. The composition of every image is thought out. Lighting is used as a feature. Post processing is delicate yet adds significant impact. Looking through our final products now, my husband and I definitely believe that our investment was worth it. Amir (photographer for our wedding) was just so amazing and such a blessing. I cannot thank him enough for everything! He even helped me put on my veil. He was so calm and compassionate even though I was stressing out because my makeup and hair appointment ran longer than expected and that made our schedule really tight. He told me not to worry and assured me that everything will be ok. He used every lighting opportunity he could find to capture a range of photos, and was constantly on the look out to use the scenery and grounds of the venue to the fullest. His passion and enthusiasm to capture every moment shone all throughout, and he absolutely blew us away with his talent. He even went above and beyond and stayed over after everyone left just so my husband and I can take more pictures. We couldn’t have wished for anything more and we would recommend Amir, Shiva and Sam 1,000 times over! Best day ever! Shirva and Sam are the best vendors to work with. I am grateful to God for making our paths to cross. I found Dream photographers online when i was searching for the best photographers to cover my son's wedding. I read their reviews which was really good compared to others that i saw. I called Shirva and made an appointment to go visit her with the then bride to be. We instantly fell in love with Shirva as she explained the package to us and tailored it in a way that it will suit our budget. While in her office she went and brought her lunch to share with us and just made us feel at home. We are so thankful that we decided to choose them above all else to cover this special event. They never disappointed us rather they went an extra mile to ensure everything was set well. Am still amazed at how Shirva created a great ambience in a church bridal suite that had little or no furniture. The photos she got from that suite was out of this world. We wondered how she made that transformation. The grand exit of the couple featured fireworks and Dream photography made it look like an out of this world piece. We really got a good value for money. If you are looking for a trustworthy crew, you have found it in Dream photography. They won't disappoint you.

Shiva and Sam were extraordinarily professional and absolutely were experienced in guiding the flow of the wedding and of the wedding prep. Shiva made sure that we had our vendors lined up and our schedule set up just right so that the wedding would be perfect. When we were uncertain about many things (as everyone is with their wedding), Shiva guided us to tell us exactly what to do and what we needed in order to keep going. Sam's eye for artistic shots and framing the photographs was amazing to watch in action, and his ability to take simple backdrops and situations and turn them into insanely photographic pictures made for amazing candid and awesome albums. The great thing too is that they are *consistent*. Their instagram is very active, and they're constantly uploading new pictures and you can tell that their style is still maintained with no deterioration of quality over the years. I highly recommend these photographers, they will not leave you disappointed in the slightest.

I found Dream Photo & Video on The Knot and from our very first phone call I knew I would be in good hands. I interviewed multiple photographers, but nobody stood out as much as Sam & Shiva because they showed me they truly cared about our wedding. We hired our videographer before finding Dream Photo & Video, but they assured us that they would work together seamlessly on the day of the wedding. They made sure our vision for our engagement, bridal, and wedding photos were everything we wanted. The two of them traveled all the way to my husband's farm in Temple, TX for our engagement photos and we had THE BEST time with them!! I expected our photos to turn out good, but they turned out magazine quality good! We were BLOWN AWAY with the photos they took. Their creativity and commitment to get the very best shot was amazing. It was the middle of June in the sweltering heat and they were excited about every photo through the entire session. This same passion translated to my bridal portraits in downtown Houston. The Church covered their statues in preparation for Lent earlier than I was told which was upsetting as they were to be in all of my portraits. Shiva and Sam assured me that my pictures would still come out beautiful and they were right! They took all the stress off of me and made sure I had a good time the rest of the session. We went to a local bar and then to a park with the downtown skyline behind me for the rest of my portraits. The shots were dramatic and nothing I ever could have imagined!! We went over on time, but they were so excited about the pictures that we continued with my portraits. They are DEDICATED to get the very best photos for you. We hired them for eleven hours on our wedding day. They were enthusiastic and professional throughout the entire day. I am sure they were exhausted, but you never would have known! They made sure we captured all of the photos on my photo list (which was very extensive) and came up with so many creative shots on their own. They worked within the Church's guidelines, but still captured all of the important moments during the ceremony. From the getting ready photos to our portraits at the end of the night they gave it their all and it SHOWS in our photos. They truly captured what it was like on our wedding day. Every tear, every laugh, every silly moment on the dance floor, and more is forever captured in our photos. They were a great husband and wife team and worked great with our videographers all day. We couldn't be happier. My biggest advice for Bride's is to splurge on photo and video as this is the only thing you get to keep after the wedding day. Every penny is well worth it when you hire Sam & Shiva. They make you feel at ease throughout the entire process and are a true joy to work with. They will forever be our photographers for all of our future events. I cannot thank them enough for everything they did to make our wedding happen. THANK YOU!!

What a pleasure to work with Sam and Shiva for both my daughters weddings that were six months apart! Their professional talent and creativity captured both my daughters individual personalities. We found Sam and Shiva’s portfolio on the Knot app and fell in love with the photos as soon as we saw them, especially the photos of the bride with purple hair, since my hair is always some bright color or another. We did a destination wedding in Houston (we live in DC) and knew that we wanted to spend as much of our wedding budget on photography as possible. This was a second wedding for me and the lesson learned from planning was that photography can make or break the memories of that day. Shiva and I spoke at great length and she really took the time to get to know us as a family. We incorporated an adoption ceremony for our seven year old son into our service and celebration as well and she really understood how important it was to make sure this wasn’t JUST a wedding, but a celebration of our newly formed family. On the wedding day, the photography team was equal parts attentive and unobtrusive. Sometimes it felt like they were doting on all of us and sometimes we didn’t even know they were there. In looking back over the photos, we were surprised by many of them. The day was such a blur, but they captured it, our guests, the scenery, and all of our family’s expressions so beautifully. And the documentary style video was the perfect encapsulation of the wedding for our guests who couldn’t be there. This ended up being especially important for us, as my mom got sick suddenly and couldn’t travel to Texas for the wedding, so when she watched it later with us it was the perfect way for her to feel like she was there. Look... we are not wealthy people, we went cheap on everything else. Modest venue, the least expensive menu, discount dress and suits, accessories from a discount store, basic flowers (just bouquets and corsages)... but we knew that the photographs would be the one thing that would last throughout the ages and we would treasure them forever. And we will. We are nerdy scientific people and I am very interested in how the brain works and how memories are created and stored and altered over time. The brain is remarkable. And photographs, good or bad, can shape memories over time in ways you can’t really fathom. Was it worth nearly half out wedding budget? Hells yes, it was! Would we hire them again or recommend them? Absolutely! In fact, we may do a ten year vow renewal just so we can get more amazing photos. When it comes to photography, more is more... and everything else gets forgotten as long as it’s photographed well. Sam and Shiva do it right and I wouldn’t recommend anyone else.

Shiva and Sam are just absolutely amazing!! From the moment I scrolled through their Instagram, I was immediately drawn by how amazingly they captured so much emotion in their pictures. I cried looking at some of their pictures and knew I had to book them. Then when I met Shiva, it was a done deal! She was the best vendor I worked with..period. While still deciding on whether to work with them, they invited us on a styled shoot to give us a taste of how they work. A few years ago, I heard about Dream Photo and Video on FB via a friend's post. After looking through their work, I was absolutely blown away. When I met Sam and Shiva in person I knew that they would take great care of us on our big day, so we didn't feel the need to meet with any other photographers, and immediately booked them. Shiva made our wedding day, and the whole planning process, easier for us by being incredibly dedicated, organized, and timely. I honestly feel that she did more on the day of our wedding to ensure everything went picture perfect than the wedding planner did. They made our wedding experience as special as possible by doing anything and everything to get the perfect shots without being intrusive. Your wedding day goes by so incredibly fast, but thanks to the care of Dream Photo and Video, and their expertise and attention to detail, my husband and I are able to relive our wedding day over and over again. When I look back at our wedding photos and video, I feel so blessed to have had Dream Photo there to capture that wonderful day. Truly the only problem is that every single picture is so amazing that 2 years later I still can't narrow them down to pick out which ones will make it into our official wedding album. Sam and Shiva were amazing and we couldn’t have asked for any better photos. We were referred to them by our reception place, the Houston Club. We met with Shiva once and didn’t have to meet with anyone else because we were sold. We didn’t have a wedding coordinator and they helped us with the timing of everything and made us an exact schedule. To say that we booked DREAM before we even booked the venue, says it ALL! We met with Shiva and Sam and instantly knew they would be the ones who we would entrust with our magical day and it was worth. every. penny! They deeply care for their clients. We can not say enough how phenomenal Shiva and Sam were on our wedding day. They were actually early for my wedding day instead of on time and made sure that every picture was taken from every angle (Although we only had one photographer in our contract). Shiva helped us stay within our budget so with the set budget we had they could only offer one photographer. Getting to know Shiva along the way of planning I found out she used to do wedding coordinating as well. We decided to invest on her as our day of coordinator and it was definitely a great investment as everything on our wedding day was very organized and stress free for both me and my husband. I have heard horror stories of people that hated their wedding pictures; therefore, we made sure to definitely invest on our photographer as photos and video are the only thing that will be with us forever. My video was beyond words that words could even describe and it was so great to relive the day. If I had to choose again a company to use for my day I would choose them. They treated me like family and made sure that my day was about me. Thank you so much again Shiva and Sam for taking on our big day and taking such good care of us and being so professional.

Sam and Shiva did our wedding photography and we are so glad we made the investment!!! It was so much fun going through our photos multiple times after and they are great to work with! Cannot say enough good things about these two. Shiva and Sam were very friendly. We took our engagement photos on a field of bluebonnets and I was AMAZED at the results. Each picture was breath taking. Come the wedding time they were very nice in guiding us on where to take the best pictures were. We didn't understand at the time but when it came time to see the result we were taken aback by the beauty they had captured in our wedding. Many details that we had overlooked had been captured in their photos. The price was a little high but well worth the investment. We ever have another large event will definitely use them again. Would recommend them.

My experience with Shiva and Sam was absolutely perfect! Not only did they give me excellent service and friendliness! They let me use there own personal chair that they use for clients for my sweet heart table for my wedding bus cause she didn’t want me to worry about it! My wedding was July 30, 2016. Sam and Shiva are 2 of the nicest people you may ever come in contact with. They provided me with exceptional service from start to finish. My engagement photos, wedding photos, and photo booth photos are Amazing! The absolute best in the business! My wedding video... OMG!!!! It’s soooooo Beautiful! We booked Dream two years before we got married, I talked to Shiva nearly every other week about the wedding or she would just check in to see how we are doing. Shiva truly cares about her clients, I've seen the way she interacts with other couples, she is extremely genuine. My husband and I are not "picture people" but they always made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. Our engagement, wedding, and after session photos are all so beautiful. Our video was AMAZING!! I tear up every time I look at it. The attention to detail that they give to every moment is unbelievable, when we saw our wedding photos I swear it seemed like there were cameras everywhere. Sam and Shiva are the best!!! They photographed our destination wedding in Mexico on 10/13/17. We looked at MANY photographers but instantly fell in love with Dream Photos style and incredibly vivid images! I shopped around after finding them, but was always drawn back to them and their amazing work! It was one of the easiest choices to make throughout the whole process! They went above and WAY beyond to capture our day (even did a mini shoot the day before) and were so easy to work with. My entire family fell in love with these guys and were so impressed at their dedication and professionalism. With all the stress and craziness going on the day of, they made it look so easy and effortless. It was one less thing for me to worry about because it was VERY obvious that they knew exactly what they were doing! We have only received a few images back so far, but from the looks of those 4 photos, we know we will be in love with the rest! Sam and Shiva will always have a special place in our hearts and I'm so thankful that we got to share this amazing experience with them! I was very happy with the quality of the photography- they did a great job. We knew that photography was a important part of the wedding - the only thing that lasts from your day. So the pictures have to be good. We saw that Dream was an award winning team and we saw why. Dream Photo and Video is the absolute best photograph team I have ever had the pleasure of working with. We originally chose Dream because they went out of their way to send us tips on interviewing wedding photographers, meeting up with us late at night (and in person, not a sales person), and showed us ALL their work (I am talking full files from previous weddings and events). I (the Bride) have been in weddings in the past but have to say I am not one for posed pictures. Sam and Shiva were the best! They helped my husband and I try different poses and feel comfortable throughout. With all the wedding day stress, I felt so confident in the pictures they were taking and helping us to set up. Shiva and Sam were wonderful to work with. My husband and I don't take many pictures and they were patient with us and made sure we were comfortable in the engagement session, bridal session, and of course on the big day. They captured every moment and you didn't even notice they were there.

Dream Photo & Video deserves the "wow" factor! My husband and I originally did not have it in our wedding budget to hire a videographer. We had talked to several married couples, some that chose to have a video, some that chose not to have a video and the ones that did not have one all said they wished they did. We decided we needed to find a way to make it happen! We found Shiva and Sam on The Knot and after viewing a few samples of their work, I knew I had to meet with them. They were gracious enough to meet with us on New Year's Eve, and minutes after meeting with them, John and I knew they were the ones we wanted! We chose to do the cinematography and that was the best choice we could have chosen. Every time I had a question or concern, Shiva responded so quickly providing me with the answers we needed. We received our video and I would not change one single thing about it. They captured every special moment and the special edits are incredible. John and I could not be more pleased. We had the pleasure of hiring Dream Photo and Video for our engagement session, bridals and day of wedding photography and videography! I cannot say enough about Shiva and Sam. From the first meeting with them we know we would be in excellent hands! It was always very important to me to choose the right people to capture our special day and I was so worried we wouldn’t be able to find a business that would take our photos as seriously as we would. We knew instantly when we met Shiva and Sam that they were the right fit, they were dedicated to making sure our wedding was captured in the way we wanted it to be. They were very open to ideas that we had and gave excellent shot suggestions for both our engagement and bridal sessions. Our engagement session was fun and the pictures came out beautifully. My bridal pictures were absolutely magical, I felt so beautiful. I didn’t have any idea about poses before the session but Shiva and Sam positioned me beautifully. I made the mistake of not eating the day of my bridals (I am diabetic) and ended up getting light headed, Shiva and Sam were so very patient and caring with me and helped me feel better. The extended our session a bit to make sure I go in all the photos I wanted. I was so beaming with happiness and excitement when I got the photos and I looked amazing. The hardest part was to not run out and show everyone my bridal photos before the wedding. I was so reassured that day about our decision, that they took the time and knew how important theses photos were. Their clients and not just another couple to them, they know and care about your journey into marriage and know the magnitude of it all. Our wedding day was truly a dream and captured just as that, I cannot rave enough about how every detail was highlighted of our wedding. All of our love and loved ones were captured in such an authentic and graceful way. We have photos of moments that we didn’t even know anyone was looking. We had one photographer and one videographer for our wedding but you would have thought we hired a multiple person team for each! We have close ups and wide shots of almost identical moments. It was so important to me to have a photographer who did excellent work with portraits and action shots. Sam has an amazing talent for being excellent at both. Our have such a vast mix of beautiful, elegant and fun pictures. We also hired Dream Photo and Video for our videography needs, and it was so amazing! It was so heartwarming to see our entire day in our highlight video. They captured our most precious moments and gave a perfect glimpse into our beautiful day. I still cannot stop watching it, they have an amazing gift to make you feel the emotions of that day and relive it all over again. I will cherish it for the rest of my life. It was so important to us to hire a quality group to capture the most special day of our lives. As an out-of-state bride, working with Dream photo & video was super easy. They were accessible, accommodating, and helpful. They were organized and had a legitimate interest in taking the best photos they could. I remember they even brought some things to help with the photography that I hadn't requested in our contract just to make sure the photos and video turned out great. And they did! They will ask you for your input, what kinds of pictures you want, what songs you want on your video, etc., to make the photos and video as personal as possible. They were also very respectful of my/our space (not "on your face" type of photographers who kind of take away from the moment). All in all, a very respectful, professional, and creative group at a very reasonable price. My family liked them so much that my brother hired them a week later for his own wedding! I would definitely recommend them.

We had Dream Photo and Video (Shiva and Sam) do our wedding photos and we are beyond impressed! We had our wedding in Boston where none of us live and they found a magical place and did our photos at the perfect time for evening light. They worked quickly, and gave clear instructions of interesting poses and angles which turned out really well. The photos literally looked better than real life!
