Dreamfield Acres was the venue we picked to have our big day at. Don and Dawn Worthington were amazing at making sure everything was perfect. The package we picked included the venue, videography, DJ, bartender and day of coordination. Because of this, most of my planning was completed with no hassle! They kept in contact throughout my planning and made us feel comfortable and catered to during our big day. We decided to pick someone close to home and to support local, and we are very happy we picked this venue.
Id like to give 0 stars but that's not an option. The wedding venue was extremely hot on my wedding day. Getting ready in the bridal suit was a disaster, all of us girls we sweating.. when we asked Dawn if we could move a fan in the room she told us no and that was just the start of the day. We were extremely rushed for our pictures and even in that they did not get one picture of me, the bride, with just my father, just my mother, me and my children, neither just the bride or just the groom with their new in laws, and several other key photos! Needless to say the photos taken from our friends & families iPhone's were much better... They were more focused on getting us in front of their logo on the barn. On top of that the pictures we did get were very poor quality, look like a high schooler took & edited them, which wouldn't surprise me because it was Don & 3 very young looking girls. They sent a final photo of our wedding group and the grooms eyes were closed, so we could tell they didn't even pay attention to the photos prior to sending them to us. Prior to us walking down the isle the whole wedding group was in the bridal suit laughing and joking around & Dawn looked at me (the bride) as I had a mimosa in my hand and said in a snarky voice, "how many of THOSE have you had" right as I was about to walk down the isle and GET MARRIED! We did the taco bar for dinner & it was very bland, there weren't much for toppings my guest were very disappointed. After my husband & I finished dinner we never got a chance to talk to our guest because they RUSHED us to do our cake, the tosses, & all the important dances & games. It was back to back with everything & at one point my husband went to play cornhole & they just kept saying his name over and over again until he came back, again giving us NO chance to interact with anyone,
I would never recommend Dreamfield Acres to anyone, very disappointed in this place and how they run things and how I missed out on so many photos because they rushed us and just kept telling me where to go and not giving me a chance to take a minute and breathe, also, being so disrespected right before walking down the isle to get married. Dawn takes complete control over everything and her way is the only way it can go.
I couldn't have been happier with how our ceremony and reception went down. The owners were kind and very accommodating.
I can't imagine the owner being unfriendly unless there was some retard and his kid climbing all over his truck and equipment. The only thing dumber than his actions that evening was the look on his wife's face when I told them to leave. She didn't say a word...either because she has a hard time formulating thoughts, or she was thinking too hard.
Outside of that brilliant couple being kicked out, the evening was perfect. The entire package was worth every cent.
The photography- perfect!!! The video - perfect! And as far as hearing things from the highway, I guess I must just be getting old, because I didn't hear a thing. And that's saying something considering I was getting married at that same time.
Additionally......all friends and family who attended (excluding the two idiots and their kid) went out of their way to comment on how perfect it was. I know it's something people just say, but our loved ones all commented on the venue and production that was put together by the owners and especially the wedding planner.
I'd also like to apologize to the owners for the behavior of Steve and Jenn T. Inviting them was a mistake. I had no clue how classless and slow in the head the two of them were. Lesson learned.
The venue is right next to a highway & the jakebreaking semi truck during the ceremony was really obnoxious. The owner was on sight and very unfriendly.
I recently got married at Dreamfield Acres on July 13, 2019. My day was nothing short of amazing. Any little mishap, like someone spilling their drink, the Worthington’s were ON IT. Our day was perfect. Even leading up to the day the Worthington’s were amazing to work with. I could bother them with countless emails and texts asking questions and they put me at ease. Their crew, their professionalism, and their venue were more than I could’ve asked for. Everyone had a blast!
Attended a wedding here in 2019. As someone who just went through the wedding process recently, I can say that as an outsider at a wedding at this venue, they appeared to still be working out the kinks. It seemed they did not test the audio equipment before the ceremony because all you heard was crackled feedback the entire ceremony. VERY distracting. Instead of just shutting it off and realizing it’s more important that the bride and groom not be distracted during that time, they continued to try to adjust, including bringing a microphone up during the ceremony. Not how I would have handled, but to each his own. They have a one stop shop appeal but again, although that has benefits, it’s not always ideal to hire a “jack of all trades” in my opinion. As photographers they were very picky and in extreme heat they had relatives rearranging for excessive timeframes per photo. It made me appreciate our wedding photographer. The barn also experienced power issues at least half a dozen times during the reception. I think it couldn’t handle the DJ equipment, fans, lights, etc. and kept blowing a fuse. To my knowledge, the couple was very happy with their day and obviously they know best, but I wanted to relay, especially since this is a new venue without many reviews, for anyone who’s a little more particular to be aware while assessing venues.
this venue is the most beautiful and helpful i have ever seen.
i had zero stress on my wedding day October 20th
it was fantastic. they were flexible thoroughly involved and interested in making sure my day was perfect.
i loved the bridal suite it wss very spacious and comfortable with nearly my entire wedding party in it helping me get ready.
the venue itself is so beautifully decorated i didnt even bring additional decor. literally all i set up ess tablecloths and centerpieces.
they were just wonderful. have your wedding here. you will not regret it.
excellent energy and people
My husband and I got married at Dreamfield Acres on 8-18-18 and it was an absolutely perfect day. Don & Dawn were so great to work with from start to finish, from our very first tour until the end of the night on our wedding we really felt like our special day mattered to them, too. They were very prompt in responding to any questions that I had, and provided me with very helpful wedding & reception planning tools. Not to mention that the space is absolutely gorgeous! I don't think you can find another venue where you get as much value and service with your purchase. Thank you Don & Dawn!
