I have had the pleasure of working with Amanda as a second shooter in the past, so choosing her to be my wedding photographer was a no brainier. She is very professional, one of the sweetest people I have ever met, and truly beautiful on the inside and out. Her work is simply gorgeous, and I love her photographs. Amanda was my photographer for our wedding reception and I can not say enough about her. Her photos blew me away! I was so happy with every single print and that's hard to do with me! She captured every detail in her pictures. I was so impressed! Not only is she truly talented at what she does, she is wonderful to work with. Having Amanda as your photographer is like having your best friend by your side. She is the most charismatic , genuine and fun person you will meet. She has such a passion for what she does and her work shows it. I look back from two years ago and have photos that still take my breath away! Where do I begin? I loved absolutely everything about my experience with Dreaming Tree Photography. I sought out Amanda of DTP for her photography style. Her pictures are light, airy, and well, "dreamy" and the images I received were exactly that...just what I wanted. Amanda is warm, inviting, and oh so easy to talk to...not to mention a super talented photographer. The first time we met was at a little cafe in Alton, IL and before we knew it, we had been chatting for three hours like we were college pals. :-) As a wedding vendor myself, I expect nothing but the best for my brides, which is why I recommend Dreaming Tree Photography to all of my clients. Wow, is this girl talented! She captured our personalities perfectly. Being engaged and planning a wedding is stressful, but right after meeting Amanda, I was put at ease with her down to earth personality. She truly has an eye for creativity and makes you feel so comfortable! You will not be disappointed with her high quality of work and amazing work ethic. Having a photographer who you enjoy being with and who you feel comfortable around is probably the second most important trait of a photographer, after their picture quality. Amanda has both in great quantities! My husband and I felt completely relaxed with Amanda, sharing some of our most emotional moments of our entire life with her. I used Amanda for my wedding in July 2013. She was fantastic. Easy to get ahold of at any time even when I only had a few days to see her (I was planning my wedding from 5 hours away)! Her pictures are amazing. She works with you and is kind and courteous at all times. Amanda really makes it about you and your day. Lets you run with your ideas and enhances the experience. She even includes a short questionaire to help figure out which pictures you really want to have captured. I especially love having the rights to all the pictures so I can share with my family and friends and print as many as I want. That was invaluable for me since I knew I would choose so many to scrapbook that special day. I would highly recommend her to any one and not just for weddings! A friend of mine got her newborn pictures with Amanda shortly after my wedding, and those were fantastic too.

I cannot say enough about Amanda's talent and creativity. There are photographers out there that can take "good" or even "great" photos and capture the basics of an event, but Amanda's photos are breathtaking, beautiful, and amazing. She doesn't just capture the obvious moments, but she has an eye for detail and captures the little things too. Some of my favorite photos from her are of things I would not have even thought to have photographed! Her pictures really come to life and somehow capture all of the emotion and love of each moment. I love her talent so much that I also had her take my maternity photos and flew her out to California to take newborn photos of our precious baby. When you find the best, there's no reason to look elsewhere!

Amanda is amazing!! I recently got married a few weeks ago and Amanda has now posted a preview of what our wedding photos look like. They are stunning!! She shoots with a documentary style and she loves things with a history behind them. She has an energetic personality and doesn't seem to miss capturing any special moment. My wedding was August 27, 2011 in my hometown of Edwardsville, IL. My (then) fiance and I lived in Chicago and could only make a limited amount of trips back home to plan the wedding. Amanda met with me on one of my weekend trips home at a coffee shop, and I knew she had to be my photographer! She takes beautiful pictures and I loved how she was confident and could tell me creative different picture ideas that she could take at our wedding. It was pretty stressful trying to plan a wedding from 5 hours away, but Amanda answered all my obnoxious calls/emails right away and made me feel as ease. When I met with Amanda before I chose a photographer I knew it was meant to be, she was expecting and I just found out that I was too...planning a wedding and getting married when I was 8 months pregnant was not easy and the photographer was one of the last things I wanted to worry about. When the day of the wedding came Amanda made herself at home and become one of the "family" she captured moments that I would not have thought about, she spent time and got the perfect shots. WIth me being 8 months pregant she was able to get shots of me that were just beautiful and I will cherish forever. If I could give anyone who is planning their wedding what I thought would be the best advice, I would say a) splurge to get the wedding dress you adore, and b) use Dreaming Tree Photography. You'll never meet anyone like Amanda. She is passionate about what she does, and she loves to meet new couples and to capture their love in her own creative way. I can tell you that if you choose to use Dreaming Tree Photography you'll eliminate all the stress of worrying about your photos-she takes care of everything and for any concern you may have such as family drama, the possibility of someone in the party showing up late, rain starting during photos--any issue you could think of--she has a backup plan for each of her backup plans and she will take care of you. She is one of the sweetest people I've ever met and she will give you nothing but her best. Her photos speak for themselves. I have never seen a photographer with her style. We couldn't be happier with our decision to have Amanda photograph our wedding. She made our day perfect.

It is with great excitement that I would like to recommend Dreaming Tree Photography. I used Dreaming Tree in my May wedding and I can not begin to describe how pleased I was with the results. My pictures were very beautiful and truely one of a kind. Not only was every picture beautiful and unique, there were so many to choose from. Amanda is extremely talented and has a very personable, yet professional demeanor. She was always very easy to reach and responded to all questions very quickly. I discovered Amanda through my (at the time) "to be mother-in law". Amanda had done all of her family photography. When researching a photographer to use for our special day, there was no reservation of who we would use, we had to have Amanda! While we met, it was like we were hanging out with one of our friends. I did not feel like we were put into a box and told what we had to do. We planned nothing traditional and got everything we wanted from that day. What attracted me to Amanda's photography was her sense to catch "the moment". I was not left disappointed. Amanda worked extremely well with my large bridal party. There was never a drop of a dime. Any down time we got, we were coming up with fun and unique things to do. She created an experience for us. Amanda is wonderful! She treats every client she has like she has known them forever! She is very creative, flexible, dependable, reasonable, and everything else a great photographer needs to be! Amanda is easy to work with and has lots of great ideas and also will work with your ideas! The photographer in your wedding is the one piece of a very large puzzle that you do NOT want to get wrong. Amanda took both our engagement as well as wedding photos and on both occasions I was blown away (and believe me it was not because of my stunning beauty, although I like to think it was). Unfortunately, on both occasions (wedding day and engagement shoot) we got hit with crap weather. I was worried that we would be limited in variety due to this, but this was not the case. Amanda has so much talent. She makes you comfortable as well as truly captures the memories you will want to have forever in a unique and creative way. I will alway be grateful to her for this.
