as thrilled when he accepted the chance to shoot our wedding. Harry and our second shooter, Ivan worked in tandem and the shots are just stunning! My husband and I were so surprised when walking through Central Park and having both Ivan and Harry style photos using different angles and capturing not only us, but an illusion that the Park was empty! I can not wait to finalize our book and see the final product.

th engagement pictures in Hoboken and truly were blown away by how beautiful they were. I highly recommend people getting engagement pictures with their photographer before the wedding! Angelo made us feel super comfortable, especially since we are not the most relaxed in front of a camera. Before the wedding, Angelo called us in order to come up with a plan for the day. On the day of the wedding Angelo was great! He organized the day and took all the shots we wanted and was so nice! He really made everything super stress free and easy for us! It really was so perfect! The pictures from our wedding came back 1 WEEK after the wedding and they were all outstanding! I am so grateful that I chose Dreamlife for our wedding. Not only are their prices reasonable but they really truly do amazing work!!! I am so happy we have these beautiful pictures to cherish our wedding day! Please you will not regret using them!!! ith an engagement shoot. Our photographer had a lot of energy and made us feel relaxed and captured some pretty good shots that seemed more natural and our style. We were optimistic for the wedding photos. Two months before our wedding we were told that photographer wouldn't be available and another photographer had been assigned. They offered another engagement session as a meet and greet. But we live 3,000 miles away and weren't planning another trip to NY between then and our wedding. I had a brief phone conversation with the new photographer and his tone was just so cold and down to business. He didn't care to learn about us and what we wanted from our photos. The conversation was so rushed, it was over before I knew it. Day of our wedding, that coldness we experienced on the phone was present in person as well. He seemed almost annoyed that he had to be there. Our planner tried to keep him mindful of the time and he literally brushed her off. Our formal group photos are so terribly staged. He just moving folks in and out of various combinations that he saw fit, not engaging with us personally to make sure we were getting the combinations we wanted. When he was ready to move on, my mother stopped him and said "Can I get a photo with my daughter?" In the end, there isn't even one picture of my brother and me. But our photographer had his own agenda that day. So many of the posed pictures, although nice, just do not capture us AT ALL. So many wedding albums tell a story, unique to the couple. Ours just feels like a cookie cutter template with no personality. I had a hard time finding 4 pictures to put in a frame. It should not be a challenge to find 4 pictures out of 600+ that you want to frame and display.

ve found a better company to work with than Dreamlife. Christina is extremely helpful and patient in answering all of your questions (no matter how many you ask). And she is very honest, as in she will not try to sell you on a more expensive package, or spending money on extra photographers / videographers if they are not necessary for your event. As for photographers, DEFINITELY work with Eddie if you can. He is amazing and so fun to work with! We had a great afternoon with him when we shot our engagement pictures. He has an amazing artistic eye and knows exactly how to make you and your pictures shine. We were so excited to work with him again for our wedding! Also, he has a way of making you feel like you are the most important couple he has ever worked with. He's the best!

e type of photos we were looking for. Our family and friends were in love with our engagement photos; Diana was truly like a friend during our session. Dreamlife (Christina and Sandy) kept in touch with us throughout the entire process and always answered right away. They caught things that I didn't, and were always two steps ahead. Ivan was our wedding day photographer and he made our day the most memorable; it felt like celebrating with an old friend. He was constantly shooting even when we didn't realize. We met with him a few weeks prior and he gave us great advice. We loved Dreamlife and our wedding day was beautiful thanks to them. If we had to do it all over again, we'd always choose Dreamlife.

than a lot of the other Manhattan studios, made Dreamlife sound appealing. But I would absolutely not recommend Dreamlife to anyone. First off, we were given the photographer Peter, who seemed nice enough, but our phone meeting to touch base ahead of time was pretty short and I was left kind of wondering what would happen. The day of, he was supposed to take photos of us getting ready. Well, he was half an hour late, which meant I only had half an hour to get dressed before the ceremony! I hate being late, and when someone that I pay is late, on the biggest day of my life, that is just unacceptable. He should have taken the time to figure out where the venue was and how to get there well in advance or left with plenty of time to spare. Well we took photos, then he ran down to take photos of the guys getting ready (which turned out to be just pictures of the groom and a couple with his mother - none of the other men in the wedding party, assumedly because he didn't have the time?). In general, Peter was out of the way and I barely knew he was there, which was good, but the poses he had us in later and the photos we received just didn't pass muster. They were lackluster. And probably 60% of the photos were of people dancing, and didn't even include every person at the wedding! (There were only about 100 people there.) There were some photos that I just couldn't imagine using - like a close up of our hands, or outdoor pictures with most of my husband's face covered because of the angle of the shot, etc. I was really most disappointed by the fact that we didn't get photos of every single person. Then when time came to receive photos, we got them within the timeframe specified, but the prints we were supposed to receive didn't come until probably 6 months after the wedding! And when those prints came they were incredibly blown out and far too bright, making the bride look super pale, almost blending in with her dress! All in all, I was not impressed with Dreamlife, and if asked, would suggest you look elsewhere. Perhaps it depends on the photographer you get, but I was not very happy with my decision to use Dreamlife.

to treasure and we really wanted a photographer that we jived with and who was going to capture our day perfectly. Diana was that EXACT person. We knew we loved her from the second we met her in DUMBO for our engagement session. It was a match made in heaven. She is funny, calm, and no-nonsense. She is incredibly meticulous and knows what looks good, but also very laid back and able to break the ice and bring your true self out. She works magic behind that lens and her passion for photography is palpable. The photos we have seen so far, have taken our breath away. She lies down on the ground to get the perfect angle, and goes outside with you when its 40 degrees, just so you can get that one shot you wanted with Citi Field in the background. Diana has the perfect balance of knowing all the basic shots everyone wants for the wedding album, and really listening to you and what you are hoping to capture for your big day. Her eye for a great shot is incomparable. And she is FUN. So much fun to be around, and you can’t help but have a good time when you are with her. I think Diana is one of the best photographers out there, and beyond dedicated to her craft, and also to you when it comes time for your wedding. And she works fast. We already have our USB shipped and on it’s way to us of our final photos. Dreamlife Photos & Video have been great throughout our planning process. They answer emails promptly, and were always great about taking care of my needs and concerns.

pure art! Our lead photographer Paulo was amazing- we had a huge wedding party and he took charge throughout the entire 10 hours while capturing beautiful and creative shots along the way. He was fun to have as part of our day and really had a vision for our wedding that he executed tremendously! Our lead videographer, Domini, was also an absolute pleasure to work with. His team brought a drone to capture footage! Our wedding highlight video is better than We could've imagined- it is cinematic and captures the spirit of the day beautifully. Check it out on their Facebook page! We highly recommend that you use Dreamlife for your wedding photos and video, you will be so happy you did!!!

Dreamlife did not have as much included in their packages as some other companies that included canvas wraps and numerous prints. We chose them anyway because the packages were a good price and all the photos were artistic and stunning. The hardcover photo books we looked through at their showroom were just gorgeous. We can always have prints made; It was more important to us to have wonderful photos taken by talented and professional photographers. The engagement session was not included in our package, but I simply asked for it free of charge because nearly all other companies offered them for free and they quickly agreed. We are SO happy with our choice of Dreamlife.

s. Diana was our main photographer and did both the engagement shoot and the wedding. She was absolutly fantastic. Very nice, fun spirited, professional and creative- a true artist behind the lens. She knows exactly what she is doing and fed off of our chemistry and the pictures came out beautiful. She knew the style we were going for and nailed it on everyting. She made sure we got the important family shots and also got the creative artsy shots we wanted. She really made us feel at ease knowing we were in good hands and that meant a lot especially with something as important as pictures! Ivan, our other photographer on our special day, was great as well. He did a wonderful job with the bridal party pictures. We also had a videographer named Edison who was fantastic. He captured all the great moments we wanted and was accomdating with any ideas we sprung up on him last minute. Overall we cant say enough about these people and the studio. We would absolutely use them again for any special occaison and would highly recommend them to anyone who wants a perfect wedding day!

From the setup of our account, to the actual pictures and video taken during our wedding, to retrieving our album, dvd, and making photo edits, they provided incredible customer service and helped us every step of the way. Our wedding guests commented over and over how the photographer was never in the way, was almost invisible and still captured incredible moments of the day. The wedding highlight video was a hit with all of our friends, family, and even strangers who saw it! The photo album was put together in such a lovely way as well, and when we needed to make a few adjustments, they were so easy to help us achieve the look we desired. I HIGHLY recommend using them for your wedding because they are really great at what they do!
