Dreamlove Photography

This may sound extreme, but I mean it when I say booking Dreamlove Photography for my wedding day was the best decision about the day that I made. I guess picking the guy I married was a good decision too, but having Katie and Sandra there to document the most important day of my life remains paramount. My best friend and her sister booked Dreamlove for each of their weddings and after drooling over their gorgeous photos over the past few years, I knew we needed to book Dreamlove. Having decided on getting hitched at Zukas Hilltop Barn in Spencer, Massachusetts during peak foliage seasons, it was of the utmost importance that Dreamlove was there as I knew they would capture the serene and breath-taking views of the outdoor ceremony space we fell in love with. Mission accomplished. Dreamlove's documentary-style photography translates into a compilation of the most important moments of your wedding day. You can actually see and remember the emotion of the exact moments captured by Katie and Sandra. It's more than a photo. And as an anxious person at baseline, having such a calming and truly beautiful human being as Katie present on my big day made a world of a difference. I am not someone who has Facebook or Instagram, and before my big day I can't remember the last time someone took my picture. She was kind, patient, and her direction was so easy to follow. She made ME feel like a professional. Anyways, anyone (so hopefully everyone) who wants the most gorgeous, perfect, stunning wedding photos that were every taken, book Dreamlove Photography. It will be the best decision you'll ever make.

We couldn't be more thrilled with our experience with Dreamlove photography! Katie is amazing to work with, she helped to guide us through the process of preparing for our wedding, making sure we were always on the same page and had a firm plan in terms of the timeline and the shot list. She helped to put us a ease on the day of the wedding and orchestrated a very special and intimate "first look" moment. She made sure to get all of the photos that we requested, despite our family being difficult to wrangle during the post-ceremony photoshoot. I appreciate how kind and relaxed she was and her flexibility in terms of the timeline getting off-track- she even stayed late to make sure that she was able to get a picture of the father/ daughter dance! She treated us to a sneak of some of the photos and I was really blown away, I can't wait to see the rest of the shots!!

We first met the Dreamlove team when they shot a friend's wedding, and so had the unique opportunity to watch them create their magic from the sidelines before hiring them for our wedding. They have an impressive arsenal of high end gear (love their use of primes!) and knew how to trust natural light to organically capture the moment. Outstanding technical and creative skills aside, what really set Max apart was his constant effort to get to know us and our vision for the day. We genuinely enjoyed our conversations with him as we planned for the event. Thanks a million to Dreamlove for going above and beyond, meeting all of our special requests, and capturing our wedding day with style.

Dreamlove Photography was incredible. Katie and Max both photographed our wedding. They were so talented, attentive, detail-oriented, kind and funny. It really helps to have photographers you like and get along with easily, and they were exactly the that for us. Our photos came out perfectly, and we can’t stop showing them to everyone! Katie also did our engagement shoot and made us feel so comfortable, and found incredible spots to photograph in the Arnold Arboretum in Boston. We can’t recommend Dreamlove Photography more. They were everything we could’ve hoped for in a wedding photography experience.

From the first conversation I had with Katie, I felt that Dreamlove was the right photographer for us. Their laid back, friendly vibe combined with a great attention to detail/professionalism made them so easy to work with. After an initial FaceTime call, Katie followed up with a personalized timeline of the day, making sure every small event was accounted for, before I even signed a contract! On the day of, Max hung out with the boys and Katie hung out with the girls to take behind the scenes shots before our first look and bridal party photos. Me and my husband agreed, they got along great with our bridal party and were able to blend right in. There was no odd feeling of someone photographing you. My husband and I can both be somewhat awkward people in front of a camera but Katie and Max made us feel very comfortable during our formal pictures. During our initial call, Katie asked if we were a “dancey” group of people. We certainly are, and both Katie and Max were not afraid to get right in the middle of the dance floor to get some awesome snaps. We had guests coming up to us all night complimenting both how nice and how attentive they were! They mixed in great with the crowd to the point they felt like guests. And I guess more important than the fact we thought Katie and Max were super fun people, the photos are FANTASTIC!! Us/friends/family are thrilled with the variety and look of their selection—a great mix of candids, posed photos, and scenic shots of the venue/landscape. It gives us a 360 view of the day, which is exactly what you hope for. Turn around time was also insanely fast. I’ve heard from many friends they waited months for their photos— Katie had ours ready in two weeks! There are so many things that are stressful enough in the days leading up to the wedding and the morning of. Surround yourself with people/vendors who put you at ease. Both Katie and Max were lovely and never gave us a reason to doubt that the finished product would be great. Book them!

Katie was extremely professional, and so friendly at the same time. I could tell from her other work that she would bring a creative eye to capturing our wedding, and she went well beyond what I expected. Our photos are incredible - we've had SO many compliments on them! And our day was perfectly captured. I would recommend Max and Katie to anyone!

Katie and Max could not have been more awesome to work with. When we were looking for a photographer for our day, we wanted to make sure we didn't end up with a bunch of cookie cutter staged photographs, and what they've provided us with are anything but. They shot absolutely gorgeous photos of our entire day with all of our friends and family. I will say that we were a little hesitant to book them at first, as there was a substantial travel fee in order for them to work at our venue (they were not based nearby), but I'm so so happy we did. We couldn't possibly have asked for or even imagined anything better. They were a huge help organizing a timeline for our day, knew our venue well, and were extremely professional. We are over the moon about the photos that they provided as well (and they were super fast turning them around!!). The images they captured are absolutely gorgeous and hands down worth the price. We could not recommend these guys highly enough, everything about them from start to finish was absolutely perfect.

We selected Dreamlove to photograph our 6/27/15 wedding after seeing the fantastic job they did with our friends' wedding the prior summer. For us the main reason we selected Dreamlove was seeing how well they captured the emotion and the joy of each wedding they photographed. Our wedding photos are fantastic, and I just want to keep looking through them. Katie did a wonderful job of getting all of the candid moments that capture not only how the day looked, but also how it felt. Working with Katie during the wedding planning was a breeze. She provided all of the information we needed up front and was easy to contact via email with any questions. I immediately felt that she had everything under control and that I didn't have to worry about the photography at all. With all of the work and stress of planning a wedding, having people like Katie to work with that you trust to do a great job without requiring much of your time is priceless. And having a wonderful, professional set of photos that remind you of how great that day was, and all of the love and joy and hilarious moments of the day is pretty awesome too.

The Dreamlove team of Katie and Max are amazing to work with. They were nothing but professional, organized, and fun! They were very hands off and documented all the special moments from the day and they even provided a custom photo booth for us and our guests! We had an amazing time working with them and now we have a beautiful gallery of photos to remember our special day.

There are no words to describe how incredible our photographers were. They are a husband and wife team who have years of photojournalism experience which really showed through in their style. They were nearly invisible to us on the wedding day yet they captured every moment as if they were an intimate part of the experience. They are professional, talented and we couldn't have asked for better results! Thank you!!!

I have always believed it to be impossible to enjoy having my picture taken, never mind the actual results… but the moment my husband and I sat down to look over the wedding photos, I knew that Dreamlove had proven me wrong! We are so grateful to have had the honor of working with Katy and Max. We wish that we could get married every year just so that we could feel the happiness and satisfaction we felt after looking through all the beautiful photos! Not only were we absolutely in love with all the photos, but we agree that Katy and Max were the perfect people to have with us on our big day. They were both so interested and enthusiastic about everything, it felt completely natural to have them there. They are both very talented in their artistic abilities as well as the professionalism they show in running their business. We have gotten so many compliments and comments on the beauty of the photographs (which they personally tone and edit) but also for the quick turn around time (we had the photos before we even got back from the honeymoon!). Seeing our photos was one of the most exciting parts of the whole experience of our wedding!  We love Dreamlove!
