This was not the first trip Anna had planned for us so we knew already we were in good hands. Not only did she book flights & accommodations for our honeymoon, she also handled our hotel room blocks for our out of town guests.

t enjoy it more. I had done A LOT of research and was a little unsure of just completely changing plans after all of my work. He was totally right though and I'm glad we listened. Our resort was on the best beach on the island IMHO. We also ran into couples on our resort all the time that were staying at my 1st choice and they all wished they had spend the extra $$ and stayed at the Grande. All in all it was a stellar trip and we'll contact Neil for any future travel.

d it was absolutely worth it! Our agent, Melinda, was available to us at all hours via email. She even emailed us photos of our resort while she was traveling there just because she was thinking about us! You do have to be laid back when you have a destination wedding. The coordinators don't really start working closely with you until you are within a couple months of your date. It was so nice to have someone so experienced to answer questions and get things done for us when the coordinator wasn't always available (we started about a year in advance). Cabo was AWESOME and we are so glad we listened about the beaches (not every beach is a swimming beach). We had been worried we wouldn't like not being able to swim from shore, but we spent so much time in the infinity pool watching the amazing surf and sipping on margaritas. Medano Beach is a swimmable beach if you have to have one and there is a great tour (can't remember the name) that takes you to Lover's Beach where you can swim. Definitely take a cab (about $20 each way) to Cabo San Lucas. We loved the vibe there with all the nightlife, restaurants and great people watching. The whole event from start to finish turned out even better than imagined. Thank you Dreams and Melinda!
I don't know enough numbers to count the amount of mistakes, headaches, frustrations, and arguments we had with this vendor. The largest source of stress for the whole destination...
wedding process. Guests made numerous complaints as well: wrong rooms booked, fees not charged timely, wrong fees charged, delay in returning calls, wrong information provided, names spelled wrong, list goes on.
It's a husband/wife team, and the wife is clearly in charge. The husband gives wrong information, and makes mistakes, and the wife comes in and gets aggressive and denies any mistake and never apologizes. Don't expect an apology from this team, ever. Customer service is a mandatory for us (I worked as a waitress/bartender for over 5 years so I know first hand), and this was at the bottom of the scale. For me, mistakes happen, owning it and making it right goes a long way. Denying the mistake and getting aggressive/accusatory goes a long way in the opposite direction.
On the positive side, they were generous and paid for our airport transfers. That being said, we would have gladly paid for them ourselves than to have had to go through what we did in dealing with the vendor.

She was very sensitive to our budget--having spoken with one or two other agencies, they scoffed at the amount of money we had set aside and gave us the impression that we wouldn't be able to get a lot. Melinda never made us feel as though we would have anything but the perfect honeymoon. And it was!
