My name is Drew Somerville and I would love to work with you and your fiance to create images that capture the true heart of your wedding story. Photography isn’t just my profession – it’s my addiction. I bought my first camera when I was 21 and was instantly hooked by the unique thrill that comes from distilling the essence of a person or moment into a single photograph. In 2013, I was introduced to the world of wedding photography when a friend asked me to shoot his wedding. I was blown away by the intensity of the experience as I strove to snap a once-in-a-lifetime picture of a once-in-a-lifetime event. I started working as a second shooter for various wedding photographers around the Charleston area and then moved on to booking and shooting my own. I view photography as a collaboration between the subject and the photographer. If you decide I’m the right fit for you, we will work together to capture the story of your wedding day, from the preparation all the way through the reception. I like to be involved with my couples from as early in the planning stage as possible so I can get to know you and your story.
