Unfortunately, our experience on wedding day wasn't the best. We got married in June and it was over 80 degrees in the venue all night. The AC was going, but just wasn't strong enough to cool such a big building.
The venue coordinator that was working was also incredibly rude. She denied the bride and some of the bridal party from going into the room we were told we could keep our stuff in. She aggressively handed the mother of the groom a broom at the end of the night and demanded she clean. So if you book with Drexel, just ensure Erin is not the coordinator for your night. And ensure you have a thorough plan for clean up!
The venue was inexpensive, the staff was extremely flexible and helpful, and the space is beautiful! I highly recommend.

They also allow you to bring in your own alcohol with a licensed bar tender which saved us a ton of money

es throughout the planning process and it was very reasonably priced. I loved how it had the second floor/balcony space that gave us more room but allowed everyone to still be together. We used the courtyard for our cocktail hour and it was perfect and then went inside for the reception which was warm and cozy feeling.

have the ceremony and reception in the same location. Our wedding was casual and we put most of it together ourselves. Drexel Hall was the perfect venue for us, since we were able to bring together all of our own vendors. The management was always very helpful, responsive, and professional. he said they don't have a staff and he wasn't in charge of how it gets set up. This was his response for all questions. He was no help at all. I left knowing no more than I did before I went to visit. I'd seen pictures online so driving all the way there was a complete waste. We stayed all of 5 minutes. The only thing offered besides the space are white chairs, that look like lawn chairs. What a joke. We will not be booking here!They didn't even care enough to have the venue cleaned from the event prior too!!
