rally so gorgeous and cozy where I was able to have my small bridal shower and morning of get ready suite with my girls. The Galeria was the reception space, and there was so much room for creativity while the staff was there to ensure a perfectly crafted day. Amazing service and communication as they are with you every step of the way from set up and even bar drink choice. It is a gorgeous indoor/outdoor venue with the sweetest people ever perfect for intimate gatherings and I recommend 10/10.

s thanks to the incredible team—especially Alecia and Jackie, the GM—who were both an absolute pleasure to work with. They shared a list of trusted vendors for catering, which made planning so much easier and more efficient. The space itself is stunning. We hosted around 30 guests and had plenty of room to spread out across the beautiful back patio. It felt very private and intimate, with twinkle lights overhead that created the perfect ambiance for our taco bar, cocktail hour, and mingling around high-top tables. We moved inside for a seated dinner, and the indoor space was equally lovely—modern, clean, and stylish. Drift provided the tables, chairs, and the bartenders for our event which was great. The bar tenders were awesome, they were very attentive to our group. A few practical notes: since The Drift is located on State Street, it was great to have a secured entrance (guests needed a code to enter). The only things to be aware of are that the bathrooms are located in the hotel lobby (just a short walk), and quiet hours start at 10 PM. Neither were issues for us, especially since we had our wedding the next morning, but worth noting for planning purposes. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would absolutely recommend The Drift to anyone looking to host a welcome dinner, rehearsal dinner, or even a small to mid-size wedding. The setting, service, and vibe were exactly what we hoped for.

r party beyond 10pm and allowed us to bring in pizza delivery. We were so thankful for their amazing customer service. Our wedding night stay at the Drift that night felt like we were instantly transported to an exclusive swanky destination with gorgeous views and incredibly comfortable and cosy rooms. Even though we are locals to Santa Barbara, sipping on Americanos and eating croissants for breakfast at the Dawn cafe the next morning, sitting on State street felt like we were on holiday in a European town. All the staff we interacted with from behind the scenes to front of house were excellent, this is our top recommended hotel in Santa Barbara!
