Driscoll Estates Wedding and Events

The grounds are absolutely beautiful at this place but there was one thing that rubbed me the wrong way and that would be the owner of the venue. She came into the bridal room and was giving my bridal party an attitude about two trash cans that were almost full. She also got on them about empty card board boxes that were stacked on the floor since they were being saved for the decorations once the reception was over. She demanded that they take care of all of this while they were in their dresses, bouquets in hand, ready to walk for the ceremony. While we didn’t pay this amount, if you are expecting the bride and groom to pay $3900 to rent the grounds, hire someone to empty out trash cans. Don’t harass the bridal party or give them an attitude when they weren’t made aware that the trash has to be kept up with. There was no place in the contract that mentioned this. She tried to mention to me how the trash needed to be kept up with in terms of catering, the morning of the wedding. Why not talk to the caterer about it? The day is already super hectic for everyone and the last thing anyone needs, is an owner that wants to give an attitude and make things even more stressful for others. I noticed there was a review more recently that mentioned a similar trash situation so make sure to ask about the trash as well before signing. It didn’t ruin the day but it left a bad taste in my mouth. Once again, Driscoll is a beautiful place but the owner needs to be more professional towards guests and paying customers.

I switched my venue last minute to Driscoll Estates. The grounds are just beautiful and the facilities provided are absolutely stunning! All the tables and chairs we needed were provided and the staff were more like our friends by the end of the wedding! I would recommend this venue to any bride looking for a stress free venue! Our wedding was on May 16, 2015 and everything was absolutely perfect! Thank you Driscoll Estates!
