Deanna from Drive the Image ended up stepping in to be the photographer for our wedding when our original hired photographer couldn’t make it a week before the wedding. She was able to work it out with our previous photographer and even got us a second photographer as we had requested (Leah). She called us on the phone to introduce herself the next day and get to know us as a couple and what we wanted out of a photographer, and our timeline. She had great communication and was available through call, text, email, and facebook. She also had great communication with our other vendors. She arrived perfectly on time and prepared the day of the wedding. She came in the bridal ready room, introduced herself in person with her other photographer Leah, and her assistant as well. All three of them had huge smiles on their faces and brought a great positive vibe immediately in the room. Leah went off the take getting ready shots with the groomsmen, and Deanna stayed to get getting ready shots of the bridal party and my dress. Deanna was such a bright light of positivity. You can truly tell that she loves what she does and has a lot of experience shooting weddings. You can also truly tell she cares about us as a couple, not just a client. She kept in contact with Leah and the boys so we could arrange a first look. They were able to find locations that were pretty and had great lighting for the first look photos and bridal party photos. We are so glad we had them both so that they could split up and get bride and groom photos separately as well as a variety of shots together. Throughout the rest of the day, we saw both of them snapping away! In a good way! We wanted the most amount of photos possible and photos of every detail possible. They were also able to direct us to what actions we needed to take to get a great shot or where to stand and what to do, which was great because we were not naturals at that, but Deanna is! They were able to get unique shots like rain coming down over an umbrella we were holding, and the sun shining on the black road we were walking on, and the sun setting behind a pond. They stayed through the grand exit, and even went through the effort to test out certain lighting/filters/lenses to get the best shots for our glow stick send off. Every photo they snapped they were making sure they weren’t taking away from the wedding experience. Deanna was able to get a variety of shots from posed, to candid, to still shots of the decorations and cake. They also set up large sticks that took dance floor shots from different angles. Only a few days after the wedding, Deanna sent us over some teaser pictures. They looked great and we received some super quick! Overall Deanna, Leah, and her team were extremely friendly and easy to work with. Their flexibility to step in at the last minute was life saving! They have a passion for what they do and are invested in you as a couple. They came to the wedding ready to work, and really listened to all the specific shots we wanted to get. The only thing we would change is that we wish they had split up a little more for a few more cocktail hour pictures, because both were with us for the after ceremony shots, but we got many shots of both anyway. I would highly recommend Deanna and Drive the Image for any Bride and Groom that are looking for a friendly, down to earth, experienced, professional, and fun photography!
