Driven By Excellence

I used a bus from Driven by Excellence to transport my guests from our hotel to the venue and back. The bridal party and myself were present for the return trip. I had discussed the details of the day with John and was assured everything would run smoothly for me and my guests. He said he was going to provide a sign for my hotel alerting my guests the pickup time was 4:45 and the bus would then depart around 5:15. I confirmed these details multiple times with John and his staff. The day of my wedding, I was alerted prior to my ceremony that the shuttle was at the hotel, but the driver indicated to guests that he was not leaving until 6pm. First, some of my guests had been on the shuttle from the time they were supposed to and the driver was attempting to make them wait over an hour before he even departed?!? Second, my ceremony was to begin just before 6pm!!! Not professional or acceptable. After several phone calls, thankfully handled by the staff at The Water's Edge and family members, the shuttle departed and arrived. I was not going to start without these guests, but the later they were, the less time we had to celebrate. At the end of the reception, my venue provides a to-go coffee station for guests. Driven by Excellence should have been aware of this since I was told they had worked with The Water's Edge several times before. The bus driver refused to let people on the bus with the coffee. If this was going to be an issue, I should have been alerted by John at Driven by Excellence since he does this for a living. Instead, my guests were forced to either forego the coffee or chug a steaming hot cup ASAP. Again, another disappointment. Finally, as a favor, my mother called Driven by Excellence while I was on my honeymoon to make sure nothing had been accidentally left on the bus. She left a message and her call was NEVER returned. The services I used Driven by Excellence for were pretty straight forward and should have been simple, yet they caused the most aggravation on my otherwise perfect wedding day.

Went with lower cost and paid for it!! Called 2 days before the wedding and the schedule was all wrong. Hired 3 buses and had to call to get the bridal party picked up after pictures at the beach. Then when we (the bride and groom) were done with pictures, there was no bus there to pick us up!! We waited so long the photographer offered to drive us to the reception. Took over 30 mins to get a ride to our own reception, then blamed us being left behind without a ride on my Dad!! Worse part of the whole wedding day!! Would not recommend!!
