We used Drowned Lands Brewery for our wedding rehearsal dinner and welcome party. Drowned Lands worked with us to fit our needs for our private event and structured food packages a...
ccordingly. It was a great evening and everyone complimented the space and the event!
We had our wedding here in November 2024. We chose Drowned Lands because it was the opposite of a corporate "wedding factory" venue. We loved the local beer, wine, and spirits avai...
lable; delicious food (and pizza!!) made with local ingredients; and the fact that it is a historic building repurposed as a brewery.
At the time when we booked our wedding, Drowned Lands was just starting to grow the wedding side of their business. In addition to being our ceremony and reception venue, they did our bar (6 beers, standard wine menu, 6 different spirits, 4 specialty cocktails/mocktails, all drinkware, bar menus, etc.) and catering, which included plates, flatware, and cloth napkins at the time of our wedding. We did not do a full venue buyout to keep it affordable. We had our ceremony out in the yard with all the brewery patrons watching (they clapped for us and it was super fun) and had our cocktail hour and reception in the second-floor event space. We hired a day-of coordinator (required by our contract) and brought in our flowers, decor (FYI - we did 11' table runners and a 90"x132" table cloth for our private table) signage, menus, table numbers and placecards, coat rack, and dessert (cake and GF cupcakes). Our DJ brought in audio equipment (a must!) and musicians for our ceremony and then transitioned to DJ for our reception. We invited 150 guests but ended up with about 115, which was the perfect amount for the upstairs event space.
In the final weeks before our wedding, Cristie was super helpful and had us come in for a walkthrough to make sure the room would be set up exactly how we wanted.
Overall, all of our hard work planning paid off! Our guests were impressed by the fall vibes, scenery, beer, cocktails, and family-style dinner options at Drowned Lands. Everyone had a fantastic time.

This was the absolute best venue for our wedding and reception. They provided excellent service, an incredible brunch, and an absolutely beautiful environment.
What an incredible place! We have always loved their beer and when it came time to find a venue that felt like us we knew we had to check out Drowned Lands. We planned our wedding ...
in about 3.5 months and Cristie was very helpful along the way! Drowned Lands is the perfect place for a couple who doesn’t want your typical event hall but still wants it to feel like a wedding. Everything about the place is perfect! The outdoor area is SO beautiful and perfect for photographs. We had our ceremony outdoors under the trees. The food was so delicious and many people commented on how much they loved the food. We had the most amazing day!

nt beers. Every visit, we talked about how it would make the perfect wedding venue. When it came time to start planning our wedding, we knew it was our first choice. After our initial consult, we didn’t even bother visiting other venues. We knew it was the one. Through the entire planning experience, they were helpful and accommodating. Their event coordinator, Cristie, made sure we had everything we needed on our wedding day. She helped make the entire experience smooth and stress-free, even when a surprise rain storm shifted our ceremony indoors 30 minutes before it was scheduled to start. We chose the family-style dinner option and there was so much delicious food. We’ve received endless praise from our guests and we can’t wait to go back post-wedding and continue to support this wonderful brewery!

I truly truly could not recommend The Drowned Lands enough!!!! My husband and I planned out wedding in under 3 months, we wanted a small initte gathering of our immediate families ...
but still wanted a wedding vibe. Cristie and the Drowned Lands team were INCREDIBLE! From start to finish, so helpful and accommodating. Our day was better than either of us could have imagined, every detail, every request, everything went off without a hitch. And the FOOD!!!! I've never had more food or a better tasting meal at a wedding, and trust me I've been to/in my fair shre of weddings, I was practically the girl from 27 dresses. The Drowned Lands was already one of our favorite breweries before and now there is no question, the best wedding venue in the hudson valley! 10/10 experience
We got married there in October 2024 and it was nothing short of amazing. The place was stunning and the staff was AMAZING. Cristie was Wonderfull and helped us so much in the pr...
eparation of the day and so did the bar manager, Shannon. But where the venue shines is the day of the event. Cristie and her team work hard to help make your day happen and it was obvious the effort they put in to make sure your day is exactly the way you want. They went over and beyond on multiple occasions to accommodate our requests! I highly recommend having your next event/wedding at drowned lands.

even provided a suggested vendor list which made the planning so easy. The space was so beautiful, I barely did any decorations and we got lucky to have a nice summer night where my guests could enjoy the private balcony. Do yourself a favor and consider DL for your next wedding party or event!

dibly responsive and accommodating. Food, service, and drinks were all excellent. The outside deck was also a big highlight. I would recommend Drowned Lands to anyone looking in the area.
Had a lovely intimate wedding party here at Drowned Lands. Cristie was so helpful & patient with me through the entire process!
The Drowned Lands has been a favorite spot of my husband and me for years, so when it came time to celebrate our elopement, there was no better place to choose. From the moment we ...
arrived, we were blown away by how immaculate the venue was. We opted for a December celebration, and the natural coziness of the space — even without adding much decor — provided the perfect backdrop for our special day.
Throughout the evening, we enjoyed outstanding cocktails and beer, with the bar staff being both attentive and incredibly skilled at keeping up with the high demand. The food was fresh, plentiful, and perfectly suited to the style of party we envisioned. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the hardworking team that made it all come to life.
My husband, Lucas, and I decided to get married at Drowned Lands Brewery because we’ve gone there many times and always loved the decor/vibe of the place. We enjoy their craft beer...
and casual indoor/outdoor atmosphere. We originally booked in October 2023, before they had a full kitchen, and before they hired their new events director, Cristie. The year between our booking date and our wedding date was a big transition year for them as a wedding venue. As expected, there seemed to be a few growing pains while they developed their new offerings, but once we began working with Cristie she really catered to us to make sure we had the wedding we were promised in our original contract. She executed changes to their staffing and flow to ensure we had the best possible experience with no hiccups. Our wedding day was an absolute dream!! We lucked out with gorgeous late fall weather and the grounds made for amazing photos. Cristie was so professional and went above and beyond to keep everything going smoothly. The bar manager, Shannon, was also a huge help. Lucas and I were greeted with our favorite hazy IPA, and from there we were offered drinks and food from cocktail hour without even asking while we were mingling with guests. One of the most fun parts of the day was when Cristie offered my parents and I a ride on the golf cart into the ceremony. We walked down through the tap room to cheers and whistles on our way to the golf cart and when we arrived at the ceremony site our guests went crazy! The upstairs reception room is so beautiful that couples only need minimal decor to set the scene. We had just under 120 guests and were nervous about fitting everyone and ensuring there was a big enough dance floor (our top priority). The space was perfect!! We had 12 tables and the dance floor was amazing. It was such an intimate atmosphere and everyone there told us they felt comfortable and at home in the space. We got lots of comments about how good the food was. Top favorites were the mashed potatoes, brisket, and salmon. We were able to choose the beers served on tap and some signature cocktails, people raved about the seasonal Sangria. The additional space of the upstairs deck was a game changer!! It was nice to be able to get some air or take a little time away from the music. We did not do a full buyout of the venue which means that the downstairs and some outdoor areas were open to the public . This absolutely added to the magic of the day, as all the customers were respectful of our space and truly seemed to enjoy seeing the wedding. Our ceremony was held outside in front of 3 majestic trees with the sun glowing on a field in the background. Overall I absolutely recommend Drowned Lands as a wedding venue. Friendly staff, delicious food, great beer, and lovely vibes. Thank you for helping us have the best day!!

, and super accommodating. I made an error in our rehearsal dinner guest count, but Cristie was so quick to make space and was very kind. The upstairs space is beautiful and many guests told us they were blown away not just by the space and surroundings, but with the food and drinks. The price was reasonable and fair, and we really got to enjoy ourselves to start off such a special wedding weekend. Truly a great experience and we look forward to coming back!

he guests) the bartenders were on top of their game and there was never a long line (even with 200 guests) and the event team headed up by Cristie Gilmore were flawless - attentive, proactive, problem solving two steps ahead, and taking care of our guests and allowing us to celebrate all day long. Any bride would be lucky to have her party managed by Ms. Gilmore, who is truly amazing at her job, providing a beautiful and smooth day.

Lands made it nothing short of magical. Leading up, Cristie and I communicated largely via email, but she was very responsive to our every question and need. The day of was amazing. Shannon helped us coordinate set up and Natalie helped us during the day. They made sure everything went great and made sure we had a drink in our hands all day. Would recommend for weddings or events of any kind!

e upstairs and balcony for our wedding of about 120 and it was perfect! We had our ceremony on the lawn down the hill and got spoiled with the most stunning weather. The team at Drowned Lands went above and beyond for our day. Cristie was our main point of contact with the venue and she was great and super responsive throughout the process. Shannon the bar manager was also great throughout the whole process and even helped some of our elderly guests down the hill for the ceremony. I highly recommend this beautiful venue for your wedding! One of my favorite parts was that we needed little to no decor because the venue itself is stunning and the tableware/tables provided gave the perfect rustic feel. It has so many great spots outside and inside for photos. The drinks and food here were also exceptional. We knew we loved the beer already but the wine and cocktails served were also amazing! Highly recommend for your wedding day and also just to visit and have a beer!

hroughout the wedding planning process and even more so on the day of the wedding. Drowned Lands now has a menu of food options to choose from as well, which wasn't yet available at the time of my wedding, but is incredibly convenient for any future couples. We had our ceremony on the lawn, reception in the upstairs room, and our after party on the deck. Our guests are still talking about our wedding being the perfect mix of relaxed, yet still formal, with an intimate setting. The event team provided me with a list of curated cocktails to use as our signature drinks. We were then able to name them to personalize them to us as a couple. The top hit at our wedding was the gimlet, but everyone loved all of the drinks and of course, the beer! The property is also absolutely stunning for wedding photos, and you won't need to go far from the property to take any. We love returning to Drowned Lands often to enjoy a few beers and reminisce on our wedding day. We will continue to visit for the years to come.
