An Up North Wedding, All Your Own
Our experience with the Drummond Island Resort was amazing! The venue is gorgeous. The food, delicious. All of the staff were kind and helpful. They were also incredibly flexible with us, from taking a later payment when we changed our minds on some details, to showing us the venue while it was closed in the middle of winter.
If worried about vendors in such a remote place, don’t! The resort provided us a comprehensive list of commonly used vendors in the area (which is how we found our photographer).
We went through a few coordinators and ended up with Brette. Although new to the role at the time, she absolutely killed it! She truly helped us with our vision, from going and counting the available chairs we liked in 3 feet of snow, to helping decorate, to cleaning up in the end.
Besides that, the value for the money paid is phenomenal. We got a beautiful venue, chairs, china, tablecloths, napkins, plenty of food (and we got to take home the extras), a paid bar, a wonderful view, and amazing staff for a reasonable price! If in search of a venue, I am sure you are well aware of how often venues charge extra for the small things, but we never felt like the resort did that to us.
If you are looking to have a wedding on Drummond Island, or even just someplace remote and scenic, the Drummond Island Resort is the perfect place to do that!
My husband I had the wedding of our dreams at DIR. The staff was amazing, the views were amazing, the venue and food was amazing. Brett was the best to work with and made sure everything was perfect. I absolutely could not recommend this vendor enough.

Your overnight guests will choose from our rustic Lodge Rooms or private Log Cabins. Our lodging offers upscale, complimentary features as well.
The day before the wedding party, activities are also available. Enjoy a day of Golf at The Rock, or a round of Skeet shooting at The Range, or a S'mores bonfire on the beach.
