From the start of wedding planning, we knew we wanted to break away from the generic wedding speech. Finding Drunk in Love was a dream come true. Beth was so great to work with and their method of developing a customized ceremony for us was engaging and thought-provoking for two soon-to-be-weds. They went so far as to give multiple options for the tone of the speech and they nailed every single one that we wanted - sentimental, light-hearted, funny, romantic! They connected us with a fantastic officiant for us who brought the beautifully-crafted words to life. Drunk in Love did a great job officiating our wedding! They were responsive, thoughtful and inclusive throughout the whole process, including writing our custom ceremony, taking feedback and ensuring they really got to know us and our love story. Drunk in Love has a well optimized formula for crafting these ceremonies and it shows. We had multiple guests say afterwards that this was the best wedding ceremony they had ever been to, or asking how long we had known our officiant Natalie, which is a true testament to their work. Natalie also came with us to conduct our legal marriage in Washington DC prior to our ceremony, ensuring that part of the process also went smoothly.

My husband and I can’t say enough about how great our experience was, and how happy we are that we chose Drunk In Love for our wedding. For us, the most personal part of our wedding was definitely our ceremony. Therefore, it was incredibly important to us that our ceremony captured our love and the true essence of us as a couple. Beth and Hilary (our day-of officiant) did exactly that. Beth and Aimee created an absolutely beautiful ceremony for our wedding. We wanted our ceremony to be sentimental, personalized, Jew-ish, and non-stuffy. When looking for an officiant, we stumbled upon Drunk In Love Weddings - and what a fantastic find it was. From our initial consultation with Beth, to meeting our officiant Danny, to working through vows and the ceremony, we could not have been more pleased. As this was a second marriage for us both, Beth and Danny went the extra mile to ensure our day was special and memorable. Our goal was for our wedding to be impossible to mistake for anyone else's', and Drunk in Love made that happen! My now-husband and I have been together for 8 years by the time we got married, so we had a very long love story that we were trying to fit into a short ceremony. We knew we wanted to work with a company that has a diverse client portfolio, so we loved it was woman owned & there were more modern options throughout our ceremony! Beth was super communicative the whole planning process, and even helped us coordinate all of the paperwork ahead of time so we didn't have to worry about anything. Their process was very easy to understand, completely customizable, and was accommodating of a variety of faiths, backgrounds, and vocabulary preferences. We had a "getting to know you" session as well as a long questionnaire that informed the ceremony script, and it was a perfect reflection of us and our relationship. I am a writer, so I had a few things that I knew I wanted included in the ceremony script, and Beth was very accommodating and did a great job weaving all of our requests in seamlessly. Friends have told us that it was the most beautiful ceremony they'd seen- modern, thoughtful, and really told the story of who we were as a couple from beginning to the wedding day. We had a few quirky things we wanted to include (a coffee bean ceremony, a shoutout to our cat, mentioning the 3,000 paper cranes we folded for the wedding), and Beth was able to include everything in a way that still felt elegant and clean. She paired us with Jake as our day-of officiant, and he did an amazing job- multiple people stopped us to ask if he was a family member! The venue coordinator actually told us that out of the hundreds of wedding ceremonies they have had at our venue, ours was the first ceremony she had sat and watched the whole way through because it was so beautifully written. I cannot thank Beth, Jake, and the whole Drunk in Love, LLC team enough for helping us create a ceremony that was so perfectly US!

We may not have been successful in our plans without Drunk in Love Weddings, Beth's professionalism and Aimee's flexibility. This group made our wedding a wonderful experience, and we couldn't be happier with their performance (or the end result, of course). Our location was a little innovative and a last-minute date change posed no threat once Beth received our request. Both of these issues likely would have proven catastrophic under different circumstances; instead we ended up with a more desirable date at the location and under the conditions we wanted. Aimee was warm and friendly, injecting humor and thought to a happy ceremony centered on a narrative that accurately and touchingly captured our story, our feelings for each other and our hopes for the future. We found Beth and Aimee after a search online; we weren't sure what we'd get, but were drawn to the company's writeup and the reviews we found. We couldn’t have asked for a more comfortable, light-hearted and personal experience working with Beth and Hilary! From the personalized Love Questionnaire that Sam and I completed to Beth compiling all that we wrote into our ceremony that captured not just our love for each other but also our silliness! Hiring Drunk in Love was one of the best decisions we made in regards to our wedding! My husband and I decided to hire an officiant for our wedding in October instead of going with someone we knew because we wanted a professional who was going to set the tone of the ceremony and tell our love story the way we felt it needed to be told. They absolutely CRUSHED it. Beth, the owner/founder, was wonderful to work with, great to talk to, and really listened to us and delivered what we were looking for. She had us write "love letters" and answer tons of questions in order to help her write our ceremony and get to know us better. We also worked with her to customize the wording of the ceremony which we really liked. Mike, our day of officiant, did such a great job that our guests kept asking how long we had known him. They all thought he was an old friend of ours! We also really appreciated Beth and Mike taking care of our marriage certificate for us. Mike even called the county earlier this week to make sure they had processed everything for us! They both created a beautiful ceremony for us and made everything so easy, which is HUGE considering how stressful wedding planning is! We cannot thank them enough and 10/10 would recommend!!

Very Personalized Experience. Beth did a fantastic job with our wedding. In fact, she did so well that a lot of our guests thought she was a long time friend of ours. We received multiple compliments on how beautiful the ceremony was. We were also able to do a unity glass ceremony with her which was really special and fun. We really wanted someone to tailor our ceremony to us and really capture our personalities, she nailed it!

We worked with Beth and Joshua, and honestly, we loved our experience with them. From the beginning, Beth was very understanding and flexible! She was on top of everything and made us feel like we were not alone in the whole planning of the ceremony. Josh was wonderful during the ceremony adding a warm and playful tone and even showing his Spanish speaking skills. We loved working with Beth! After postponing our wedding last year, Beth helped us so much with planning our elopement in May 2021. However, we knew we still wanted a big wedding celebration and though we didn’t need her assistance with legal documents this time around, we wanted Beth to do our renewal ceremony this year. We finally had our big wedding on June 4, 2022 and it was wonderful! Beth’s ceremony was very personalized to us and had our friends and families laughing and crying. We have never heard so many compliments for an officiant at a wedding as we did from our guests about Beth. Our Drunk in Love ceremony was an absolute dream come true. Beth was so thoughtful in crafting our ceremony and it was so special for us and our families. We were very happy with the legal ceremony performed by Mike from "Drunk in Love Weddings". Mike really went out of his way to accommodate us in our choice of time and place for the wedding. He performed a beautiful ceremony and recited a beautiful poem by Maya Angelou during the ceremony. The ceremony was short, simple and memorable, just the way we hoped it to be. Mike also handled all the legal paperwork with county office properly and promptly. He also followed up multiple times to help us with the issuance of the marriage certificate from the county. Beth was wonderful! We initially signed a contract with Beth for our wedding in May 2021 but postponed that until June 2022. When we decided to elope on our original weekend, Beth was luckily still available and swooped in to help us think through elopement sites, plan out our ceremony, and walk us through the marriage license process. Our ceremony was just the two of us, Beth, and our photographer so we wanted the mood to be very true to us - a little humor, a lot of love, and recognition of our share values. Ok, legit, my entire family and few friends who were at the wedding thought Beth was an old friend of my husband and mine. Her ceremony was on POINT - funny, sentimental, cheeky. My parents loved her. AND, she was behind a huge crash that happened right in front of my venue and STILL managed to kill it. With COVID, we never got to meet Beth before the actual ceremony but communicated over email and phone. I am blown away by her work!!

Beth stepped in at the last minute to officiate our DC Ceremony after had to cancel our Florida wedding due to Covid. She prepared with us via Zoom, made any tweaks that we asked for, and made our day special, even though it was different from our original plan! Thank you Beth!

Beth was a WONDERFUL officiant. My husband and I found her through a simple online search for our elopement in the Shenandoah mountains. First of all, she is just a very pleasant person to be around. She's sweet, easy to talk to, and very detail oriented. Beth put together a beautiful ceremony and delivered it very well. She talked with us a few times prior to our elopement and put together such a detailed & personalized ceremony that our immediate family members thought she was one of our close friends who was marrying us. She's responsive as well, which is always helpful when anxious brides are trying to plan a wedding! She was able to help us put together our ceremony by recommending a mixture of traditional and personalized words and it was just so fitting for our style. She even took the time to personally send me pictures of 6 or 7 different outfits so I could approve of what she wore for the wedding, as she wanted to fit into the style of our wedding in our pictures. I thought that was super sweet of her to think of. I highly recommend Beth!

Beth was fantastic. Her prep helped us ready great vows and enabled her to get to know us. We got what we wanted. She did not bring any rules or rigid requirements as to how things should be done. She can do that too I'm sure, but her focus was on what we wanted, and that was fantastic. Her words during the ceremony were perfect. We asked her to be meaningful, quirky, non-religious spiritual, and some humor. She nailed it. Everyone who attended remarked on how great she was. My wife and I were the stars and Beth brought it all together, not overshadowing us or our day. We had to make last minute changes to the ceremonies due to weather, and Beth adapted and didn't miss a beat. I could not be happier with Beth. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! -C.

We absolutely loved Beth and Drunk In Love weddings for our wedding officiant! When we started looking for an officiant we had initial thoughts of the generic and commonly used approaches, until we found drunk in love weddings and Beth and realized that what we were really looking for was a wedding that was all about us and our lives and how they’ve now come together in this wonderful union. Beth was able to give us that personalized and unique ceremony that we realized we were looking for- including learning the hand fasting we wanted included on very short notice! She really put us at ease while also making sure to get everything addressed- her process just made sense to us and we loved writing love letters to each other and then hearing her take on them, and then getting to read them after to each other!

Beth was absolutely fantastic! Both in preparing for our day and the actual event, she went above and beyond to make sure it was a total success. In normal times she deserves 5 stars, but with the hurdles that covid-19 presented, I wish I could give her 6! I would 100% refer her to friends or family that are planning to get married.

I was just at one of your magnificent ceremonies for a couple of different faiths and you totally knocked it out of the park. I still cannot fathom how you created such an wonderfully individualized and meaningful ceremony on incredibly short notice. It seemed as if you had known both the groom and bride for years. The ceremony was so very warm and loving but simultaneously was also light at even humorous (I certainly see how you must excel at improv and stand-up comedy). All of your individualizations, unique touches, and humor set this ceremony apart from all others I have seen. I highly recommend Drunk in Love Weddings for all couples, but especially for anyone behind in planning who needs an officiant on short notice.

I've been to a bunch of weddings over the past few years with "non-traditional" officiants. I may be biased for my own wedding, but Beth clearly is the best I've seen. She was attentive to our wants and needs, and worked to turn our vision into a wonderfully thoughtful, personal wedding ceremony.
