place. The wood ceiling & chandeliers inside remind me of a fairytale. We had about 130 guests with no space issues. We had an indoor wedding & reception since it's normally rather hot in September in Houston (the outside wedding space is beautiful too with woods behind it). There weren't any issues flipping the room from wedding to reception and their team got it done quickly while we took photos. We never had an AC issue all evening. Brenda and her husband are the owners and they were great to work with! She was very sweet and helpful in me finding most of my vendors! They also have a beautiful decor/ flower shop which I would recommend looking into. The bridal suite is gorgeous and great for a smaller bridal party of 6 of less. I highly recommend this venue, you won't regret it! It will give you that magical wedding you dreamed about!

tremely pricey. At a minimum they should at least offer you a choice of approved vendors from a list. This would make the pricing more competitive among the vendors. As it is, once you’ve signed the contract for the venue, if you want to serve alcohol, they can basically charge you whatever they want. I have some experience in wedding bars. My husband and I hosted our daughters wedding last year at an Austin venue. There we used a TABC certified vendor. We were able to purchase our own alcohol which the vendor served for 150 guests. The price was less than 1/3 of what we paid to dry Creek gatherings vendor for 100 guests. The most outrageous aspect of the bar vendor was that they wanted to charge us $150 “handling fee” for glasses that we provided. At a formal wedding it’s not very nice to serve guests from plastic and that is what this vendor provides. Also regarding the venue itself, at the end of the evening when we were packing up, we also had to take out the trash. I simply do not understand why we were taking out the trash at a wedding. The venue has a janitorial service to clean, surely they can take out the trash too.

Ms.Brenda is so down to earth and is with you every step of the way. She has amazing ideas that she brings to the table from floral, to linens, centerpieces and floor plans. very quick to respond and so my fiance and I scheduled a tour right the next day. Dry Creek Gatherings was still in construction but the location was perfect, the style was exactly what we were looking, the trees around the venue are gorgeous and the price was perfect but at that point, we were sold. Ms. Brenda was so patient and very helpful with us and was so kind to let us visit the venue and see it's progress, which it turned out a lot more beautiful than I pictured. Unfortunately, we had to reschedule our wedding to 2021 but Ms. Brenda was so understanding and so helpful and was able to provide us with different options to help us, which made everything a thousand times easier. Ms. Brenda and Family treated us and continue to treat us like family, never like a transaction and for that I am so glad I came across Dry Creek Gatherings and cannot wait to have my wedding there.

edding day they were. I didn't get the "take a number" vibe with them as I did with other venues. We toured the property as it is still being finished. The land is so beautiful and the trees, wow! The timber used for the reception building is just stunning. If you are looking for a nature filled wedding, this venue is definitely for you! We ultimately didn't book, but only because the Fiance's family is out of town. If we were getting married in the Houston area, this would be it! Go see it for yourself!
