David was excellent at our wedding. He's was on time, really helpful with information about the courthouse, and he was very adept at positioning us for the photos after the ceremony. During the ceremony he got amazing candid shots of everyone that attended.

David was amazing! He was understanding and helpful with suggestions when our wedding was cut from 120 to 50 due to COVID. He was very professional and engaged with guests. We had never taken professional photos before and he gave us direction and made taking pictures stress free in all the busyness of the wedding. We only had few suggestions on what kind of photos we wanted, but David had scoped out the venue and was super creative with getting so many different shots. Our pictures came out amazing!!!

DTshoot Photography did an awesome job. He arrived way before we asked him to get pictures of setting up the place. He was definitely on top of his game had ever photo idea picked out already so we didn’t have to stress about anything. Photos made the wife very happy so that makes life easier on me.

So me and my fiances have never had professional photos done before but let me tell you the experience we had with Dave and Emily was GREAT! We were super awkward because we did not know what do but they guided us through the process and made us feel at ease. (we have some beautiful photos to prove it) I am more than excited to see how the photos from our wedding will turn out because they worked wonders with our engagements!!

Dave is absolutely amazing. He is very talented and very fun to work with. We loved the use of lighting and composition of the photographs. We recently did our engagement pictures with him. We can't believe how good we looked in those pictures! I'm usually very nervous about having my picture taken because I not very photogenic. My fiance and I had no idea what to do or even where to put our hands... Dave was very experienced and suggested what to do and we looked very natural in the pictures. We are looking forward for out wedding and our wedding pictures!

AMAZING!!! Usually its difficult to figure out what to write for a review but David was exceptional and makes writing this very easy. We had a long day and I was nervous we wouldnt be able to capture all of it but David made it happen. He hurt his hand in the process and continued as if it never happened. He was able to grab photos of every moment including all of our guests great moments! If you want to make sure to not have any worries for one of your most memorable days, definitely hire David!!

David came highly recommend and I am so glad we decided to use him for our photos! He’s an amazing photographer and exceeded our expectations. He communicated prior to our shoot in a print, professional manner and was open to some ideas I had for the photos. Our photos are gorgeous and we could not be happier. Not only is he amazing at what he does, but he such an awesome human being. He is so personable, kind, funny and easy to work with.

This was a great experience! I scheduled engagement photos and even with the scary chance of rain we made the time work. We did photos for about an hour and a half by white rock lake in Dallas and DTShoot made it an easy fun experience. As awkward as forced engagement pics can be, DTShoot knew how to pose us and get the good pictures. The pictures turned out great and we have gotten so many complements. Can’t wait for the bridal session and wedding photos with DTShoot next year!

How do I begin? Dave is the most incredible photographer. He went above and beyond our expectations with our engagement photos. He found a special way to bring out mine and my fiancé’s personalities in our photos and I think that makes them extra special. He made it such a fun experience, but was still very professional. We are both extremely excited to have him take our wedding photos too! We won’t hesitate to use him for any future photo sessions we have.

Awesome attitude and even better photographs! From start to finish they were friendly and amazing to work with. Neither my wife or I enjoy being photographed and they never turn out right. They did an amazing job at getting us to loosen up and feel natural. We couldn’t be happier with our engagement and wedding photos!

How do you sum up in 1000 words how much you love your photographer? We were so particular about our photographer since we would be having them travel with us for our destination wedding and we can’t even begin to express how amazing Dave and his wife were. We never even met them before the wedding and they were responsive, communicative, and inspiring. Coming from New York we had high expectations and they surpassed them. The most amazing, sweetest couple!!! They go out of their way to be innovate and creative and capture the candid moments which was the most important part for us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all the memories. Get ready for round 2.

David and his wife Emily were exactly what I was looking for in photographers -- no fuss, great eyes, amazing work with light (since we had an outdoor wedding), and kind, cool people. Love that they are a husband/wife team which allowed us to get shots of both me and my bridesmaids/moms getting ready, and of my husband and his groomsmen. They also went out of their way to make it a good experience for me -- meeting with me beforehand to take a look at the venue and sunlight, checking in with me and providing advice on the "day of" timeline as I was planning, and then on the day of, helping me get from the hotel to the first look photos, and then turning around a few photos the very next day so we could send them into the newspaper. Overall, very happy with my decision to have David and Emily photograph our special day! oh -- and I liked that we and our guests did not notice them during the wedding and reception. They get their shots, but are not in everyone's way, etc.. if that makes sense!

Dave and his wife Emily shot out engagement shoot in April. I couldn’t have been more pleased with how they came out. Having a husband and wife team working together is also an amazing thing to see. Emily was so good at scouting areas and helping out with our poses. Dave was awesome at directing us on where to stand to get he best lighting and I am in LOVE with all of our pictures! They make you feel comfortable and make it fun! Thank you guys!!

I am a fellow photographer in Austin and Dave with DTshoot is absolutely one of the best up and coming photographers in the Dallas area. The vision he has in telling your story through his lens is impeccable. Very professional, Dave is also extremely easy to get along with. David and Emily worked great together as a team. They were very accommodating and willing to try all the ideas that we found on Pinterest. We had an amazing time shooting with them! Absolutely loved how all the pictures came out!!!

I don’t even know where to begin! Dave is an incredibly talented photographer and we couldn’t be happier/luckier that he was available to capture our wedding day. My husband and I have always felt like we weren’t “portrait” people- but though his magic, Dave not only managed to keep us comfortable during our wedding shots but the final photos we received were so natural looking! He has a beautiful editorial style, which is crystal clear and vibrant- unlike the many photographers we researched and found a bit overdramatic. From the moment he arrived, Dave was laid back and relaxed, which made us calm before the ceremony, and he didn't make us feel rushed during our bridal party shots. He was so kind and patient with our family and friends during group photos, (which can tend to be chaotic) but were a breeze! Did I mention- he is literally a photo ninja!? Dave was able to capture so many candid moments of our wedding which we would have never been able to see ourselves! Every time we look through our photos, we re-live the day from a different angle, which is so magical. Working with DTshoot on our wedding day was hands down one of our best decisions! We highly recommend!

Dave did a fabulous job for our engagement photos! The time and research he put into where we would be shooting really paid off with exceptional shots! Our families cannot stop complimenting our Save The Date photo. Not only did the pictures come out amazing, but Dave was professional and he very obviously enjoyed his work. Dave was AMAZING!!!! We had a small, intimate wedding in NYC in a Chelsea restaurant. Dave (and his awesome assist/stylist Emily) did a SUPERB job. We could not be happier and more excited about the end result and all the photos. The pictures turned out so well - we are in love with how accurately and beautifully he captured the day. His photo style is vivid, cool and editorial - it was exactly what we were hoping for. He managed to take amazing photos/get great angles both outside and inside (which was impressive, as the space we were in was pretty tight - it is NYC afterall!). Moreover, Dave was a fantastic professional to work with. He took the time to meet with us prior to the wedding at the venue and we were able to talk through with him the space and what we were hoping to achieve. He scouted great locations on the nearby highline, which made our day-of "first look" pictures a breeze!! His style of shooting is so EASY and unobtrusive - he gets the shot swiftly and moved on. He was able to put us at ease and have us take comfortable couple photos, even though neither of us are really "portrait picture" people. He was also super willing to try some funny ideas we came up with (my fiance wanted to do "the robot" and I wanted to the "Abbey Road" walk.) On top of all of that, he is very affordable considering how expensive wedding photographers can be, especially in the NYC area. Cannot recommend Dave highly enough!! Dave, thank you so much for capturing and immortalizing our special day in the most beautiful way!

The Tindalls took beautiful pictures and captured every good and important memory and moment! They were very kind, encouraging, and helpful during the whole process. We found DT Shoot interesting and unique for the facts that they are husband and wife and that, in addition to digital photography, they also shoot with film when lighting allows. The lighting was less than ideal in our venue, but they managed to take quality pictures regardless. My new husband and I highly recommend DT Shoot for your wedding pics or any other occasion when you need professional photos taken.
