Our wedding coordinator had to drag some of them off the dance floor when the reception ended because they didn't want to leave! Our venue had three separate rooms for ceremony, dinner and dancing so we asked Patrick to help out with sound/music for all three in addition to the live music we had for our ceremony. He made a seamless transition from chic cocktail lounge music to classic dinner croons to a Motown set that was followed by some Top 40 hits and an Old School Mix that closed out the night. He let us select the songs we wanted to hear and absolutely did not want to hear using a web-based software, and even downloaded some mash-ups that are hard to find and were not in his database. Patrick was extremely accommodating as we were living in Hong Kong during wedding planning and our wedding was in Chicago (he is based in LA – he is so good we flew him in!). He skyped with us a few times to discuss the vibe we wanted to create during the various portions of the evening. We had a 60s / Mad Men-inspired wedding and Patrick not only brought some music from the Mad Men wrap parties that he has worked, but also dressed the part complete with vintage fedora! Patrick is not your average Wedding DJ and made sure that our wedding felt like a fabulous event without line dances or the electric slide. I highly recommend listening to his mixes on SoundCloud to get a feel for his variety. If you use Patrick you will NOT be disappointed.

July 2011, and we could not imagine a better DJ for our event. We were very particular about our music too... we had a rock 'n' roll themed wedding, so there were some very specific songs and genres that we wanted to include and avoid. His online planning and request tools were very helpful, and it also helped to just talk to him for a bit to discuss our expectations. He got a feel for us and what we wanted, and his music choices were spot on! We trusted him to use his judgement, and every song he played was absolutely perfect and flowed together smoothly. Considering we had a rock 'n' roll wedding, he chose very appropriate dance music and every single guest was on the dance floor at some point throughout the night, from my 1-year-old nephew to my husband's 80-year-old grandmother! Everyone had a blast and raved about how good the music was! We kept hearing that it was the best wedding anyone had ever been to, and we know that the music had a lot to do with it. Take my word for it... music can make or break a production. To illustrate this idea, imagine your favorite film with a different soundtrack. It's not the same, is it? I would recommend Patrick in a heartbeat. Do yourselves a favor and hire him right now!
