Working with Grey was a true joy: she exudes a quiet but exuberant passion for her art, and she genuinely cares about meeting her clients' needs. A few things really stood out to me from my experience with Grey -- the cake I asked her to make was a very small cake for 8 people, but she treated the project with as much attention and effort as a wedding cake for hundreds. I cannot emphasize enough how much that meant to me; every cake to her is special. And every cake becomes, as a result, extra special. Grey is the consummate professional -- she was communicative, clear, collaborative, and thought ahead. She gave me precise directions on how to transfer the cake to the cake stand (and even recommended stands!), as well as on how to store the cake before and after the event. And she embraced my idea for a cake inspired by Anna Atkins' early photographs with incredible verve! It was so special to share in the excitement with her. Through working with Grey, I not only got a beautiful cake, but also a new friend. Grace’s work is truly creative, elegant and unique. For our wedding cake, she came up with a custom design that matched our wedding venue and aesthetic. The details on our cake were very soft and ethereal, just like a Renaissance painting! And the flavors were so delicious — not too sweet and very well-balanced. Everyone really enjoyed it!

I cannot sing Grey's praises enough. It's very rare that you find a vendor as wonderful as Grey Pak - she is a true artist. I wrote her about doing a custom butterfly birthday cake for a client - and she responded to my inquiry thoughtfully, quickly and with great enthusiasm! Wow, what a fantastic experience and cake! I ordered a small, simple cake with a hand-painted panel on the front for an intimate family affair. Grace was a joy to work with and went out of her way to ensure each detail was perfect to our liking and to make us feel special. I’m personally not particularly artistic so I gave her a good amount of creative autonomy; I couldn’t be happier I did! The painting of the specific mountain scene I requested (Maroon Bells in Aspen, CO) was a knock-out, and the recipients were literally slack-jawed when I presented the cake to them. I can’t wait for another excuse to work with Grace again!

My husband and I had a very specific idea for our cake (Hawaiian flowers, with a soft color palette, and some 3D elements). We had no idea what this would look like, and Grey brought it to life better than we could have imagined. On top of creating such a beautiful (and delicious) cake, Grey was a joy to work with. She sent over sketches, let us make some changes, and even added elements that we had not thought of. She was so kind, responsive, and professional. I love Grey's accommodating personality and kindness! I am based in another country and I had a fear that suppliers won't be able to get the expectation I wanted but Duchess of Cameron went above and beyond my expectation with our cake! I was so amazed by her cake not only with the design but also the taste. I never thought Apricots as a cake flavor would be so good. In addition, she also designed the cake set-up with the cupcakes and it was so beautiful!

After two years of trying to plan a destination wedding, we decided to give up and have a small micro wedding in NYC instead. With just 6 weeks to plan - we were SO INCREDIBLY LUCKY to have found Grey, she was able to squeeze us in and provide us with the greatest cake EVER! With just 6 weeks to plan out a wedding cake, Grey made sure to make the process just as special - she didn't make us feel rushed and was so kind and patient with us. She worked on our design specifications until we were 1000% happy, and I couldn't thank her enough (And yes, I was THAT bride who just had to make last minute changes, but Grey was so sweet to all my accommodations). If anyone is looking for a cake vendor, please do not hesitate on hiring Grey! It was the best decision we made for our wedding!!

My husband and I were excited to have booked Duchess of Cameron for our wedding cake. As expected our cake was perfect - beautiful and delicious! We envisioned a 2-tier cake with a couple of flowers and Grace brought this to life. We had a chocolate cake with ivory icing everyone (including our guests) were very pleased with how delicious our cake was. In the midst of our wedding planning to-do's, Grace was very accommodating and made the cake process so easy. We will definitely be booking Duchess of Cameron again for our next special event!

I was thrown a surprise bridal shower by my dearest friends, and was surprised by a custom Duchess of Cameron cake which was such an incredible highlight to the sweet day! It was such a gorgeous cake that I felt was truly personalized to me, despite it being a complete secret until its reveal. The color palette, the abstract form, the individual leaf details...perfection! I think we must have spent a good amount of time marveling over the sculptural beauty, and I was really reluctant to cut into it...but when I did, *wow*. It was a decadent chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream and strawberries, and it was so delicious I must have inhaled half the cake myself! I was really impressed with my surprise cake, and I would love to get another cake again! Excited to see what kind of dreamy custom cakes are in my future. Thank you so much, Duchess of Cameron!

The amount of effort you put in to the wedding cake was amazing. The detail work with the frosting and fondant is impressive. The cake was a simply piece of art. Flavor profile as good as it gets. We could not have hoped for a better experience! Duchess of Cameron provided amazing service listening to all of our ideas and helping us plan the right designs and quantity to make sure our guests were able to enjoy the full experience. We wanted out dessert to be the star of wedding (other than us of course!) and she did not disappoint. The cake and cupcakes designs were exquisite and so beautiful. Didn’t think that they could taste better than they looked but of course they were!!! So many compliments from our guests...we were smart enough to plan to have enough for everyone to take some with them too. Big hit. Matcha cake flavor was the favorite by far. Really can’t say enough good things about the full experience...service, planning, billing, delivery and set up, and most important taste. Already looking forward to eating our frozen slice for our anniversary next year.

Duchess of Cameron makes the most creative, most inspiring, most unique, most artistic cakes I've ever seen! I arranged with Duchess of Cameron to create an exquisite cake for a 90th birthday party that was a museum-worthy work of art, working in the colors and decor of the elaborate wallpaper and furnishings of the venue where the event was held. There was timely, professional delivery and set-up. I've also seen and tasted another cake Duchess of Cameron created for a charity event that was a work of architectural genius and craftsmanship. I've occasionally had cake that is pretty, but not especially delicious. But the Duchess of Cameron cases were the best tasting cakes ever, as well. They are works of art that are as fresh and delicious as they are imaginative and flawlessly executed. It is impossible to find an adequate number of superlative adjectives to describe the confections Duchess of Cameron creates!
