My wife and I are so happy we chose Duffy Photo & Film to photograph our wedding and reception. Ali Duffy was so prompt, professional, and efficient. She was very accommodating to all our requests and she captured every special moment. She definitely exceeded our lofty expectations. Her photos were beautiful and perfectly captured our special day. We will cherish her beautiful photos for the rest our lives.

We look at our photos all the time and think about the skill and execution that was put into our photos. Ali did an amazing job and has done many things for us over the years. I would highly recommend them for an any occasion. Our input was well received and Ali knew exactly what we wanted. She is a true artist and a fantastic team to work with on your big day.

Ali photographed my daughter and my son’s wedding and she was wonderful. She was attentive and made us all feel comfortable in front of the camera. I refer her to everyone.

Hiring Ali for our wedding photos was a great choice. She checked out the venue ahead of time which helped make things run perfectly on the day-of. She was fun and laid back and also took charge when needed. We have several prints in our home and get lots of compliments on them.

Ali was a pleasure to work with leading up to the wedding and on our wedding day. She captured so many beautiful moments from our special day. We love our photos and can't wait to frame a few and share them with our family and friends. We have a large family and wedding group and she was able to capture photos candid and formal throughout the day. She even found a second photographer last minute when we had some logistical changes with the wedding party. I love that she works with film and digital and I feel like we have unique and amazing wedding photos!

I chose Duffy Photo because of the beautiful photos on the website. In reality, I felt my photos were nothing like the quality featured on the website. Many family photos were missing including the groom and his brother and the groom and his parents. At the end of the evening when trying to get family photos, she informed us she only had 5 minutes before she was scheduled to leave. I had many photos with my bra strap showing. I would have hoped my photographer would have pointed this out while shooting photos of me! I feel I am entitled to my opinion. However, Ali mentioned she was disappointed in my review and it left her no choice but to dispute it. She also mentioned it would save us both time, if I was willing to remove the review. I don’t think that is fair to future brides.

Ali and Beau were such a breath of fresh air after dealing with other vendors that were not so pleasant. We were able to just enjoy our day and relax knowing that the work they were doing was gonna turn out beautiful. They did not disappoint! Both our engagement and wedding photos are stunning! She always found the best light and caught all of our favorite moments. Adjusting and running around to get the shot when things didn’t go as planned (it was a beautiful, but very windy day). She got all the details, many that I never got to see in person bc we were being pulled so many different directions. She even got sweet photos of my grandparents holding hands. That means so much to me. Thanks Ali and Beau for the beautiful photos. I can’t wait to share them :).

My husband and I were guests at Hannah & Austin’s wedding in March 2018. Having referred Hannah to Duffy Photo & Film, it was amazing to see Ali and Beau in action. They were incredibly professional and the end result of the photos and videos was nothing short of stunning. They are both so talented and it shows in their work. Flash forward 8 months and I was fortunate enough to have Ali take our maternity photos. The whole experience was wonderful. Although our pup was super excited about the snow and only wanted to play, Ali managed to capture so many photos with him - I was shocked! We are based in the UK and planned our wedding afar, which created a unique set of challenges. I was already a fan of Ali's work and knew we wanted her to help capture our day. What a great choice! Her and Beau were communicative, professional and very accommodating to us. Ali is passionate about film and it shows-she was just as excited about capturing our wedding as I was to have it. Ali was an absolute ROCKSTAR!! Not only did she brave the 100 plus degree heat to take our engagement pictures at our favorite place (Busch Stadium), she also traveled to capture our wedding day in Wichita, KS. Her and Beau were such a calming presence on the big day and helped to keep things running smoothly even though it did not stop raining once that day. The pictures for both events turned out even better than I could have ever hoped for.

Our experience, before, during, and after with Ali, Beau and their team has been nothing short of stellar. The pictures and video are timeless and evoke feelings I will treasure forever. The entire team was professional, polite, and soothed even my awkward side. The very best of our journey was captured and we could not be happier with our video and photos.

From beginning to end, this duo really know their stuff. Ali was incredible in thinking of things that we hadn’t thought of to make our day go as smooth as possible. She was in constant contact with us and prompt to always respond. Our wedding day was perfect and the Duffy team was able to capture that perfectly. We couldn’t have asked for better photographers and the finished product was everything we hoped for.

Ali and Beau are incredible. From the very beginning Ali was great! She responded in a timely manner to all of our questions that we had. She even moved her trip once we had to change our wedding date so she and Beau could still document our special day. Ali's pictures are so beautifully captured and we could not have asked for better engagement or wedding photos. We were uncertain at first if we wanted a videographer, but in the end we were so glad we did! Beau's highlight video for our wedding was amazing and we watch it all the time on repeat. Both the pictures and video compliment each other very well and each bring a different element that is so special. Ali and Beau really work so well together and we couldn't have asked for a better duo to capture all the memories from our day.

Ali was everything we wanted and more! Upon first meeting, we could tell by her energy she would be a great fit for our friends and family. She was interested in what would be the smallest details of the day, and great with suggestions on what would tie all of our pictures in together. From the engagement photos to the wedding day, she was able to make us so comfortable in front of the camera. Ali and Beau made the day a breeze, quick with direction and didn't seem to miss a thing. I have worked in the wedding industry for 10+ years and have seen a ton of vendors try and fail to deliver the results that these two were able to achieve. Before our wedding day, we were able to to come up with a timeline that we both were comfortable with, and day of they both made sure we used every moment to its full advantage. She even was able to make sure we got some photos with the sunlight setting through the trees, which have been some of our favorites! When it came time for the ceremony I never felt like there was a camera in my face or in my way. Both at the ceremony and reception, they navigated the crowd and event to capture the perfect moments with out feeling intrusive to conversations or the best dancing. Ali was able to take the front yard of a abandoned run down house and make it seem like we were in a private field somewhere remote! I couldn't believe when we viewed our photos that what we were seeing was the same untamed front yard! Beau was able to shoot so many small important details that I cannot watch our highlight real with out tearing up every time. These two have been able to give us the ability to keep reminiscing our wedding day time and time again.

I will begin review by saying I did get several beautiful pictures from my wedding day. I will give credit where credit is due. However, I was incredibly disappointed with the majority of my wedding photos. I ended up with hundreds of useless pictures and only about five pictures of my husband and myself . I never imagined that there would be a shortage of pictures of the bride and groom on their wedding day, but there definitely was. My heart sunk when I got to the end of the pictures and realized there were practically none of my husband and I actually looking at the camera. We didn’t even get a picture of the two of us smiling during our first dance! I reached out to Ali to express my concerns and see if she possibly had more pictures she had not sent me. She did not have any other pictures to send me, basically admitted that she knew there were not many of my husband and I, and even blamed my videographer for getting in the way too many times during the day. Prior to the wedding, I reached out to Ali to make sure it was okay that my videographer would be with us during the day to take pictures. She told me it would be no problem (I even have it in writing). My videographer asked the both Ali and myself any time he needed to shoot something. He was more than polite and made sure he was never in the way. Not to mention, I paid quite a bit of money to have Ali because of her experience in the field. As an experienced professional, if she felt that she was not getting enough pictures of the bride and groom she should have spoken up. That should not have been my job on my own wedding day. Ali continued to blame my videographer and not once tried to make things right with me. I felt like she treated me very rude in the follow up emails, trying to turn it on me and make me feel like it was my fault. So, not only did she blame the videographer and the bride, but she never once apologized or tried to see if there was anything she could do to fix the problem. She made me feel like I should have directed the day. Again, I hired her for her professionalism so I would NOT have to direct every photo. I have cried many times over this issue and the fact that I do not have the pictures of my husband and I that I have always dreamed of. I can never go back to my wedding day and get more pictures. That day is gone and the only thing I would have changed is my choice in photographers.

We knew Ali was going to be a great fit when she was as excited as we were about including our cat in our engagement photos! Cats aren't the best photography subjects, but she was able to capture beautiful pictures of our boy. We were so pleased with our engagement photos and then the wedding photos blew those out of the water! In addition to the great quality of her work, Ali spent time to get to know us as a couple and explain her process thoroughly. She was easy to work with but also highly committed to giving us her best. We were very happy with our choice to have Ali photograph our wedding!

My wife and I have had the pleasure of knowing Ali and Beau for a few years now, and wouldn’t have trusted anyone else to capture the beautiful moments from our wedding. With the stress and anxiety that comes from all directions in the wedding planning process, our photography was one thing we could find comfort in. Ali is incredibly laid back and responsive to any requests made on the fly and is respectful to even those who might be overstepping their bounds in making suggestions to the professional. One of the greatest skills Ali has that I have rarely seen at weddings is her near invisibility in capturing the ceremony so as not to distract the bride and groom from their special moment under the spotlight. I don’t know how she does it. And, now that we’ve received our incredible pictures, we’re only more amazed at her talents. Ali and Beau are simply amazing! We had a bit of unique situation living in Colorado, but having our wedding back home in the St. Louis area. Ally and Beau were able to come out to CO and do our engagement session a few days before my husband deployed! Talk about going above and beyond. Ali and Beau were able to take my indecisive personality and make our pictures and video absolutely perfect to reflect our taste. My husband and I planned our wedding from out of state, and while he was overseas, not to mention our wedding venue burnt down a few months before our wedding date. We were able to move locations and keep the same date, which luckily didn't cause any problems for Ali and Beau. They were more than accommodating, especially since our new venue was brand new and she was more familiar with the area. She was definitely a blessing for us. She and Beau captured the most wonderful day of our lives so beautifully. she uses film, which captures images so much better than digital alone. We highly recommend Ali. I'm so glad we found her and Beau!

As soon as I looked through Ali's blog I knew that the quality of her work was exceptional, but what made working with her and Beau truly wonderful was her character, attention to detail, and passion for her work. From the moment we decided to work with them, Ali was there to answer emails, offer advice, and answer any questions we had. She and Beau were incredibly fun to work with on the day of the wedding, even though we ended up having to switch around a big portion of our photo timeline because the girls and myself were [predictably] running late getting ready. We loved every second working with them and the photos and videos turned out way better than we could ever have imagined!! I would recommend them to anyone and everyone.

Ali and Beau are an amazing duo! My husband and I could not be happier with our decision to hire this talented couple as our photographer and videographer. Ali's photography is unique and beautiful. Ali is amazing! My husband was really worried about getting photos because he tenses up and gets really weird. Ali handled him perfectly and told him exactly what to do in a non-annoying way. The photos were so gorgeous. They were creative and showcased our personalities perfectly. On our wedding day, I was super bummed out because it misted and rained the entire time when we were going to take photos. Ali pulled out some freaking amazing photos despite the bad weather! She was great at corralling people and keeping our spirits high despite the weather. I twisted my ankle and had a meltdown before we got to the ceremony location because my dress was dirty and my hair was wet and not pretty anymore and everything felt wrong, but Ali was cool and collected and got a ton of awesome shots of the abbey while I pulled myself together. I was so fortunate that she walked the line perfectly of getting the right photos at the right time without making me feel pressured and stressed when I was having a meltdown. When it was time for the family photos, the venue was really dark (again, because of the rain!), and I thought for sure that the photos would be really dark and awful, but they're really great! You can't even tell that the venue was dark. Ali was also awesome at taking my random requests for photos throughout the night. The coolest thing by far was that at the end of the night, she pulled us outside to get a couple of night shots. I didn't understand it at the time, but I trusted her, and omg I'm so glad I did. She said it was misting and that we would get some really cool photos. What we got were these photos that look like they could be on a movie cover. You can see the mist and see our silhouettes. I can't describe it perfectly but it's gorgeous and we both look so happy in the photos. Ali also likes to shoot in film which is really cool. She is pretty seamless with switching between digital and film on the actual day. Well worth it!

My experience with Ali and her husband, Beau, was fantastic. After seeing some of her work on her blog, I knew her photography style was exactly what I pictured for our wedding. Her photos have such a soft, simple, and romantic feel that make you feel so happy when you see them! I did not want super cheesy or all posed photos. Ali did a great job listening to us and our needs, and balancing the candid, romantic photos I desired as well as snapping the necessary shots of family and wedding party without the inauthentic forced formal feeling that I've seen so many times. She is super laid-back, yet professional and very responsive when it came to communicating. I could always count on her to respond quickly and discuss my ideas or concerns. She was extremely flexible, especially in that my husband and I had a non-traditional timeline. We got married on a Friday night and had our reception on Saturday. I was concerned that a photographer/videographer would not be willing to come both days and split the coverage time- but Ali and Beau said no problem! I really could not thank them enough for giving us two days of their time to document both equally important moments. Our engagement pictures were beautiful, so I expected good things from our wedding photos and video too, but I was blown away! Not only were the photos absolutely perfect and exactly what I pictured, but the video was AMAZING. I was hoping for a good highlight reel to just remember the important moments of the weekend, but Beau really did such a beautiful job capturing sweet moments with my family and friends and really portrayed the feel of each part of the weekend. Both the photos and video are fantastic quality! I could not be happier with my decision to add the video, I'm so glad I did! We will have it for a lifetime. There is not one thing I feel is missing from our photos or video, or one thing I would change. I highly recommend these two for your wedding day! Thank you so much Ali and Beau!!! Ali takes wonderful photos. We just got ours, and they are beautiful. I want to hang them all on my wall. I will say that in order to get the best shots, she takes her time. She sets up each shot rather intentionally instead of just constantly shooting and then trying to find a good one out of the bunch later on. Because of this, we didn't really have time to get every shot imaginable (we had limited shots with our wedding party, but in all fairness we didn't ask for specific ones). But like I said, the result is really great photos of the ones she does get. And she went ahead of time to scope out good places to take photos at our venue. The photos are beautiful and Ali is really kind and easy to work with.

Alison Duffy Photography was absolutely amazing for our engagement session and for our wedding day. She is very professional and knows exactly what she is doing. She makes you feel completely comfortable. I've known Ali since high school and she still wanted to meet to discuss details and important things we wanted in our pictures. She was even Willing to shoot our engagement session in freezing temperatures just so we could have snow in our pictures! And of course, they turned out amazing! I started to notice Ali's photography work a few years ago as we have many friends in common. As she would post engagement and wedding photos I was able to clearly see her style and was so impressed with her art! I knew when I got engaged I was hoping to get the opportunity to work with her myself. Before I got the chance to check her availability, our wedding date was unexpectedly moved up 7 months to accommodate my sister's international travel. I was sure there would be no way that Ali would be able to make that work but knew I should at least ask...so 6 weeks to spare I contacted Ali and explained our situation, to my surprise she said yes!! Our day was thrown together but somehow so beautiful and Ali was a huge part of that. Her communication was amazing and her attention to detail put me at ease that she would capture everything just right. That afternoon when she arrived she handled everything so smoothly and had such a calm ease to her personality. She took such beautiful pictures that my husband and I will always treasure. Words cannot convey what a great decision it was to pick Alison Duffy Photography. In the initial stages of planning our wedding, we met with other photographers but there was just something missing. But then we met with Ali. She was extremely personable and picking her out of those we spoke to was easy. Then it came time to work with her for our engagement session and our big day. She is extremely knowledgeable and has amazing ideas. She always seemed to have another great idea, and those great ideas created amazing photographs. We wanted something creative and unique, and what we got far exceeded the expectations of my wife and myself. We were indecisive in what locations we wanted to shoot at, and Ali always had suggestions that sounded perfect. Without her, we never would have found these locations. I also highly recommend her video services. Our highlight music video was stunning and perfectly encapsulated the spirit of our wedding. As cliché as it may sound, watching the video helped us relive our wedding day. This is important because the day really does feel like the blink of an eye, and the more documented the wedding is, the better. Ali handles the photography while her husband handles the videography. This is invaluable because they work so incredibly well together and really know how to keep everything flowing. There was no drag time. And her prices? Call it a fantastic bargain because not only is she one of the more affordable photographers but she is worth every penny and more. To conclude, we really lucked out by finding Ali. And it was incredibly disappointing when the day was over because she was such a pleasure to do business with and be around. We would recommend her services in a heartbeat and I honestly hope we can find a way to use her services again in some fashion in the future.

The moment I saw Alison's website, I knew I wanted her to be my photographer! Her pictures were all so personal and absolutely beautiful. When we met for the first time in person, we knew immediately she was the perfect person to photograph us on our wedding day. She was so easy to talk to and was extremely knowledgable about all things photography! We had a very specific vision for our engagement photos, and she brought it to life. In fact, our engagement photos were featured in Alive Magazine thanks to Alison! On the day of our wedding, Alison and her husband were professional, even able to capture a great photo of my enormous family (I have 42 first cousins!). Our pictures turned out better than we ever could have imagined! We are so glad we chose Alison and recommend her to all of our friends. In fact, just 8 months after our wedding, my little sister also had Alison photograph her wedding! It was an incredible experience for both of us!

Ali Duffy is awesome. We loved working with her for both our engagement pictures and our wedding. She is relaxed and professional. My husband and I were long distance during our engagement and St. Louis was in the middle which worked well for our engagement pictures and Ali came all the way to Chicago for the wedding day. I have encountered many photographers who can be pushy or try to take over the event and Ali is not like that at all. She really listened to us. Our engagement photo shoot was so thoughtful and unique to us! We felt like we had to wait a little while for our engagement pictures but the quality was definitely worth it!!! Our pictures are beautiful and our day was wonderfully captured thanks to Ali! We highly recommend her!

Ali was our photographer for our wedding day and we absolutely loved her. She showed up early and all ready to go with a smile on her face. Her calm, easy going personality really helped the day go along smoothly and just went with the flow which really helped me enjoy the day more. There was a 80% chance of rain on our wedding day so we of course had to make due with the dry time we had and when it started to sprinkle, no worries, we just ran into the woods to capture some gorgeous shots. I would highly recommend Ali to anyone and plan to use her talents for any future photography needs we may have!

If you are lucky enough to book her, DO IT! You will not regret it! She is an amazing person to work with. She's very laid back, puts you at ease, and has brilliant ideas of what will work for a great photo, rain or shine and even wind 😊. We used her for both engagement photos and day of wedding photos and she blew my expectations out of the water. There's a saying, "memory is sometimes fonder" but not with Ali! She captured moments in such a beautiful view it made me look at my own wedding and engagement photos in an even more sentimental way. She captured a lot of details I wouldn't have even thought of and I'm so grateful for her. I happy cried looking at a majority of them because she did just a fanastic job. I always looked at photos thinking "there's no way I could look like that" and Ali made it all come true. If I could give Ali 6 stars I would! And a big ❤️

Ali was GREAT! She knows what she is doing and does it well! She's laidback, but takes charge when she needs too and has an incredible way of capturing shots that we didn't even know she was taking. Ali is wonderful. She is absolutely the best. We talked to many photographers on the phone and in person to find the right one. To begin our meeting, Ali asked, "So tell me about you two. How did you meet?" and we talked for what seemed like forever. Very much like a first date, we were hooked on Ali. She seemed to want to truly capture our love story and not just our wedding. Ali is so talented, and also listened to what we wanted. Although we know next to nothing about photography, we did have certain shots in mind and she obliged every request. She was flexible and helpful when planning our day-of logistics. She was responsive via email, something that cannot be said for all of our vendors. I am already looking forward to using Ali for our photography needs once we start a family. She is WONDERFUL.

I was a bridesmaid in my good friends's wedding in St. Louis. It was a small personal event and Ali was perfect at capturing the special day. Ali was amazing! She did a great job with setting up a wedding package that met our needs and budget. Not only has Ali taken photos of my wedding, but she has also done family shoots, my engagement photos, and a boudoir shoot. All of these photos turned out gorgeous! I've never been disappointed! Shooting with Ali is always a great experience. You can tell she loves her work and wants you too as well. She always has a smile on her face and makes taking professional pictures fun! I wouldn't trust anyone else to capture the most important moments of my life. If you are looking for a fun, friendly, professional photographer, Ali is your girl!

I cannot say enough about Alison Duffy Photography. To me, photography was one of THE MOST important choices of our wedding, and we were amazed at the results we received. I did not have specific ideas on locations or exactly what I wanted, and Ali was fantastic with coming up with shots, lighting, poses, etc. She has a passion and vision for her work and it shows in every shot she takes. We were fortunate enough to have Beau come and do a wedding video of our day and it blew us away. It was like we were reliving our wonderful wedding every time we watched it. Ali and Beau got every shot and scene we could even imagine wanting, plus hundreds more, and we hardly knew they were there. We had the wedding day of our dreams and they documented it perfectly. I could not recommend Alison Duffy Photography enough.

We couldn't have asked for a better photographer for our wedding day! Ali captured our day perfectly. She is extremely easy to work with and open to any suggestions. She does a great job of capturing moments and emotions in a beautifully artistic way. We would recommend her to anyone!

Ali is just so talented. Our engagement photos turned out like pictures right off of pinterest. You know...like the pictures you look at and think..ugh, if I tried to pose like that, I'll end up on a Pinterest Fail blog somewhere. But no, my friend. No matter how awkward or unsure you are during your session, Ali's calming and professional demeanor paired with her photography/editing skills will make you and your hubby look like you were plucked right from Brides Magazine. The wedding day was even better. She was pretty much the only calm person in the room at all times. I got so many compliments not only on the locations and poses she chose to put us in, but also on her personality in general. So basically, she rocks. I will for sure use her for family portraits in the future. Ali, Thanks for an amazing experience!

Alison Duffy is unbelievably talented. Our wedding day was perfect. She was a pleasure to work with and checked out the location ahead of time to get the most perfect shots. Ali was with us for most of the day (we planned a later wedding), taking pictures before the ceremony, durning, and after, up until the very end of the reception. She captured all the family and friend shots we wanted ;) Plus the night shot right before we left was the best idea. The words to best describe her pictures "simply perfect" Thank you so much for making our day so wonderful!

Ali was wonderful to work with! She was very relaxed and open to our ideas. But also had great on the spot suggestions of her own at our venue. We (and all of our friends and family) absolutely love how our pictures came out. She is so creative and talented!

Ali Duffy is amazing. Not only was she super communicative and professional before our event, she really took the time to get to know my husband and I, what our vision was for the wedding, and what we envisioned our photos would look like. During the wedding we hardly even noticed all the pictures she was taking. Suffice it to say, what I envisioned for photographs was nothing compared to what we got. The shots she got are wonderful and the color she gets out of them is fabulous. We've only gotten a sneak peak into our album so far, but I cannot WAIT to see the rest. Highly highly recommend her. :)
