Duluth Grill

Disorganized, Unprofessional, Late, Poor quality (which is shocking because all of our other experiences have been good). So disappointed in our experience for our wedding. Way too many issues to list them all but the major problem for us was the total lack of professionalism. We were never contacted afterwards with an apology or explanation for how rough things went during the wedding. We loved Duluth Grill up until this point but unfortunately they have lost all of our respect and business. I would never recommend them for any event. At this point it's clear that they are spread too thin and they will not give you or your wedding the attention deserved.

Excellent food, classy setting, the perfect portions. Everyone had plenty to eat. Staff was helpful and friendly and the whole process was easy. While the wedding day can be hectic for many reasons, it was nice not to have to worry about the catering at all. Over the next few weeks, several of our guests have told us that the dinner was so fantastic and memorable. With many of our guests coming from out-of-state, it was nice to also have delicious local fair to share. They were also very accommodating to multiple dietary restrictions, including nut allergy, dairy, vegan, and vegetarian.

Don was wonderful to work with and everything was perfect! Prices were very reasonable and better than anything else we had looked at. We went with the bison roast and chicken marsala and both were delicious. We also had an ice cream sundae bar for dessert. Our guests raved about the food and we could be happier with our decision to go with Duluth Grill!

I could not believe that the food was at the price it was & it was incredible. We had uncountable compliments on the food - which was ratatouille with polenta, squash, chicken marsala, homemade salad & dressing, & baby red potatoes. It was a unique meal for a wedding & they had a great selection for choices at starting only $15/plate. AMAZING deal.

The most frequent feedback I get from my wedding is how awesome the food was! I've been to dozens of weddings and I don't think I've ever said that. We had turkey dinner, stuffing, potatos, carrots, squash. It was flavorful, the food was piping hot, and it was plentiful. We asked them to load the plates, and boy did they! They served our 220 guests in less than 30 minutes which is amazing. Another added touch is the owners, the catering manager that we worked with, and the chef who was at our original tasting were all there to ensure things ran smoothly. They were fantastic and I'd highly recommend them!

Great night out in Duluth, fun place to spend a few days away on our Honeymoon, this place has great food and service!

I am an asian bride and my husband is Caucasian. We knew that for the most part we were going to have american food since Duluth, MN doesn't really have a large selection of asian food. Having eaten at the Duluth Grill before, we were expecting excellent american food when we picked them as our caterer. What we didn't expect was having excellent asian food as well. We had a pig roast and there were some family dishes that my family always has with it to compliment the roast. So I sent the Duluth Grill the recipe for those dishes. Being a re-creation of these dishes, I didn't have super high expectations. I knew it would be close and if not, the majority of our guest wouldn't be able to tell the difference anyways. Well, the Duluth Grill knocked it out of the ballpark. I have gotten so many compliments from my parents regarding the "asian dishes". They went to get seconds and thirds!! Hats off to you Duluth Grill!!

The Duluth Grill catered for our reception of about 230 people. The food was fantastic (a lot of guests commented on how great it was), and the service staff we hired through the Grill were so professional, nice, and efficient. The owner treated us so well and made sure to put on a great meal for us. Highly recommended!
