My wife and I had our wedding reception at One Ocean Resort & Spa. We worked with Paola Cubas from our initial tour of the space to the wedding day itself. Let me tell you, the entire experience was fantastic. Paola made sure to keep in constant contact with us for over a year, answering all of our questions and accommodating our requests in a timely fashion. In any wedding, bumps in the road are going to come up, but all you can ask for is a flexible and amenable venue staff. Everyone involved in our reception from Paola, to the staff, to the folks in the back preparing food were with us every step of the way. We would absolutely recommend One Ocean as an event space and would give it 10 stars if we could. Thank you so much to everyone for making this day as perfect as possible!

Megan and the entire staff at One Ocean were amazing from start to finish. As a bride to be, I had no clue where to start but I knew that I didn’t want to hire an actual wedding planner. Thanks to One Ocean and Megan, I didn’t have to do that! Megan set me up with lists all of the vendors I needed and helped me every step of the way. One Ocean has an amazing partnership with Mugwump Productions, who handled all of my decor and flowers... which was a huge help! They met me on site at one ocean and worked on my proposal so it fit exactly in my budget- I’m talking 10 changes and every single one was met with enthusiasm and kindness- exactly what a stressed out bride to be needs!! (The flowers were gorgeous, by the way!) I absolutely loved how much of the details were handled “in-house” which made our wedding seamless. Once our big day arrived- Megan was there all day for me and was so kind. She made me feel like a princess and a friend! My family and friends raved about the wonderful service they all received while staying and attending our wedding at One Ocean. Every single staff member, from the valet to the front desk to the bartenders- were above and beyond my expectations. There’s no better feeling as a bride to look back at your wedding day and not want to change a single thing. I would choose One Ocean all over again if I had the chance!

r a small wedding- about 70people). They took care of EVERYTHING. We drop off our décor 2 days before the wedding with a list of how we'd like it set up and they took care of all of it. The reception ran so smoothly. The food was amazing (our guests were raving about it). We had decents bringing us food, cake, drinks, etc so we had plenty of time to socialize. They even boxed up food and cake and put it in the hotel room fridge for later that night. It could not have been more perfect.

our wedding night once. The room was super comfy and our balcony opened right to the beach. We went for a walk and returned to campagne, strawberries and a congrats card from the staff. We went for a couples massage the following morning- heavenly! Would definitely return for our anniversary

The setup was somewhat more difficult than I hoped because getting in touch with the correct people wasn't easy. Getting ready it was a struggle to even get 2 mirrors to have every...

one get ready. The room they gave us to get ready was some little room downstairs not a hotel room and man, was it burning hot in there. I heard after the fact the guys had the same issue. Neither of us could get it resolved even after us asking time and time again. The Ceremony went great but after that the planner and coordinator left without a single instruction to help with the reception. They had NO organization. Instructions weren't passed down so we ended up not only not having enough cupcakes to even cover half of the guest but having the staff complain to me about not having a big enough cake to serve everyone when the cake itself wasn't supposed to be distributed(thus the cupcakes). Ended up not doing toast or even garter toss because the person I was told to organize it through disappeared as well for an hour or so. Shoved our guestbook table in the back corner so we only had about 20 people sign it out of 150. All and all, Totally not worth the cost of the place. I expected much higher effort on the part of One Ocean and was let down terribly.

ation wedding' in Florida. We had several great resorts we were deciding between located in FL, but then stumbled upon One Ocean's website and FELL IN LOVE with it! We immediately decided, without hesitation, that One Ocean was the place for our wedding. EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING. from the first phone call I made to inquire about the wedding packages they had to the one-on-one (long distance) phone conversations I had with Sara - my event planner provided by the hotel- to the actual wedding event coordinator - Susan, (whose services was also included in the wedding package). The staff at One Ocean treated me, my guests (and everyone in the resort) like kings and queens. They offered 5-star quality service with smiles and enthusiasm every day we were there. The details of the wedding were a cinch to plan for, with the help of the event coordinator- I didn't have to do anything in terms of the wedding as soon as I stepped foot on the resort. I was able to enjoy my family, friends and loved ones' company- not to mention the BEAUTIFUL beach and poolside. The architecture and artwork/style within and outside of the hotel is absolutely breathtaking and looks so gorgeous in our wedding photos. The Food. Ugh. The Food. - its been about 6 months since our wedding, and my family and friends are still talking about the food. I am without words to describe the wedding ceremony food provided by the extremely talented kitchen staff at One Ocean. There was so many options to choose from- with such an extremely reasonable price. I seriously wish I could go back there to eat some more of those prawns.... and the hors d'ourves! OMG... Although my words are very profoundly enthusiastic and may seem a bit 'over the top', I promise you- If you choose One Ocean Resort Hotel and Spa for your wedding or next event, You will NOT be dissappointed, and will be posting a review just like mine. Promise. Without further adieu- Thank you One Ocean Resort Hotel and Spa for giving me and my husband such wonderful memories in such an amazing resort.
